I couldn't believe it, I was alone, my senior year's prom and I was alone, Zayn was dancing with Sophie and Luke was ignoring me.

I walked to the theater counter and a blonde guy - I suppose he was working there - walked to me "having fun?" He said

"No, Im alone on my last years prom" I told him, who gave me a sad look

"I'm sorry, do you want something?" He asked

"Do you have something with alcohol?" I asked, what was I saying? I had never liked alcohol, he nodded

"There's only beers" he said

"Give me one for now" I said giving the boy a small smile, he was cute, but no one was like Luke

"Okay, by the way, I'm Michael" the boy said with a small smile

"Ashton" I simply said as he handed me the beer

"You seem nice, why are you alone?" Michael asked

"I'm dating, well, I was dating this guy and we argued last week" I said as I finished my beer- yes, I drink fast-, I didn't want to get in details

We kept talking and I kept drinking until I was out of my mind, that's when Niall came in, looking for it

"Oh, look, the fag is alone, is your boyfriend already dead? Give me good news and tell me that he is" Niall said from behind me, I didn't know what I was doing, but even if I did, I would've probably done the same

I turned around and punched him directly on the face, he fell on the floor and I kept punching him, Michael was shocked, hot tears were streaming down my face as I kept punching him.

"ASHTON" I heard Zayn yell "STOP!"

"It's not worth it" Michael said jumping over the counter as Zayn tried to stop me

I heard a whistle and knew that I was in trouble "What's going on?" Mr Brown said, I stopped and Zayn and Michael helped me up

"What is wrong with you faggot?" Niall yelled

"You better start running now"

"Do you really think that l'm scared of you?" Niall laughed

"Why don't you jump off a cliff? I'm sure that we would be happier without you being a fucking jerk" I said

"Horan! Irwin! To my office, now!" Mr Brown said

"But he was the one punching me!" Niall complained

"You said that you wanted Luke to be dead!" I said, everyone stopped and a few gasps were heard

"Is that true?" Zayn said

"Why would I lie? It's true" Niall said proudly

"I am going to fucking kill you if something happened to him" I said running outside the theater with tears running down my face, I stopped next to Luke's locker and I slid down, sitting on the floor

I heard someone walking outside the theater "Ashton?" It was Michael "Ashton, are you okay?" He asked when he saw me

"I guess, I just can't keep living like this, I love Luke but I haven't told him in a long time"

"Let him know, I had someone too, until I lost them forever" he said sitting next to me

"What happened?" I asked, although I regretted it when I saw a few tears escaping his eyes "oh, I'm sorry, its okay if-"

He shook his head "I will have to talk about sooner or later, it's been two years, I might not be ready, but I have to try" he said giving me a sad smile

"Okay"

"We were going on a date and he was driving..."

*flashback*

Michael's POV

"Who am I?" His perfect raspy voice said as he covered my eyes

"Santa Claus!" I said, I turned around and saw the guy who I had loved for 5 years "oh, it's you" I said trying to sound disappointed

"Shut up" he said before kissing my cheek, making me blush "So, where are we going?" He asked

"You'll see" I smirked

He opened the passenger's door for me and I jumped in

"Don't mess up, like you did last time" he said

"Well, just follow the road" I said

"Okay" he said "how are you babe?" He asked

"Um, good, I guess" I said, he looked at me in disbelief "okay, I'm not, my parents keep telling me how bad you are for me"

"What do you think?"

"Well, my mind says that you are not good for me" I said "but my heart belongs to you, Calum" I said smiling at him

We drove for 45 minutes, talking and having fun when the moment came "um, Calum, I need to tell you something" I said insecure

"What is it Mikey?"

"I want you to know that I-" a car hit Calum's side and the car fell down a cliff "OH MY GOD, Calum are you okay?" I asked once the car stopped, he groaned, his chest and head were bleeding "please Calum, stay with me, I'm calling an ambulance, but please don't leave me" I said with hot tears streaming down my face

"Don't bother, I'm gone, but let me tell you something first" he coughed blood, oh no, he can't die, I couldn't tell him that I loved him "I love you Mikey" his breathing stopped and I knew he was gone, but I didn't want to believe it
