She knew this day would come.To her it was as inevitable as death.The day that the one person she loved with all her being and who taught her to feel an emotion that was so alien to her would look at her like that.The day he would look at her with anything but love in his eyes.The day her heart would be broken.She knew she deserved this.She knew she would face immense pain.She had decided that she would savour the pain and drown herself in it.She just didn't expect it to hurt this much.

After feeling numb for so long her emotions descended on her with a vengeance,threatening to crush her with their weight.Despair,shame,anger...Quite literally she felt herself succumbing to their weight as a strange weakness overtook her as she felt herself losing feeling in her legs.Her knees sunk into the ground as a lone tear finally escaped her left eye.It had dawned on her then just how precious what she had lost was.

But it didn't matter she knew she was losing what she never deserved.
