It's my birthday!!!!!  I'm so excited! I looked over to my clock to see the time was 8:55, Ginny and I were up late last night talking and talking. I could see my hair turning pink to purple. I gently shook Ginny awake. I tried to keep myself from jumping up and down and instead let my hair and eyes turn purple. I tend to never have my normal blond hair and blue eyes on days like Christmas or my birthday as I'm so happy and excited!
We both got ready into our lovely dresses. Ginny had a gold dress top and golden leggings while I had a red top with black and white poka dots skirt.

We did our hair (Ginny wore her hair down and I had 2 long braids on each side) and brushed our teeth. As we left the room I was but onto George's shoulders (again) as everyone sang happy birthday. I love my second family, my first being my adoptive family. We reached downstairs and I was handed my Hogwarts letter. I was the last person there to get it for that year so Mrs Weasley said we can all go to diagon ally after the presents. I got joke supplies from the twins,  a lot of sweets from different people, I got silver earrings from Mr and Mrs Weasley, a bracelet with a lily on (my favourite flower) from Ginny and money and a dress from my parents. When we thought we were all finished, a parcel was dropped on my lap by and owl. I opened it up to find a locket and a card. The locket was silver and had an snake on it. I opened it and found a picture of 2 babies. The  card read:
Dear child,
We don't know your name as we never got a chance to give you it. If you are wondering who is writing this, it is your real family. We wanted you but we couldn't for reasons we can't say. You are a twin. The picture is of you on the left and your brother on the left. We want to meet you but don't know where you are. It is ok if you don't like us, we understand.
Love from your family

As I read the card out the whole room was silent. I put the locket on after closing it and Mrs Weasley broke the silence.
''Why don't we go to the ally now?'' She said
We used floo powder to get there and we went to get all of our books and robes. We had split up in groups and I was with Ginny and Charlie. We went to get my wand at a shop called Olivanders.
I tried about 3 before I got the right one. It was unicorn hair and oak wood 12 inches. I loved it! We got everything we needed and we went back home.
I can't wait for Hogwarts!
