*Misty's POV*

I stood at a cross roads that I thought I wouldn't have to face for the longest of time.

I had to choose between loosing Jay forever or joining the villains to keep him alive until I could find a way to separate him from Shadow.

"Well my dear Misty?" Storm asked.

I sighed sadly and looked at the ground.

"I will join you," I answered shakily as tears ran down my cheeks.

Storm gave me a shot then gently wrapped his arms around me.

"Smart choice love," he said.

He then picked me up a I slipped into darkness.

This wasn't life or death.

This. Was. The. Villains. Reign.

*Anna's POV*

I slowly crept through the streets of the city. Lucky for me I had escaped before those terrible villains came back to deal with me.

I came to a street and stopped as a saw a figure in a black ninja gi, with shaggy black hair laying on the cold ground motionless.

"NO!" I screamed.

I then ran over to him and kneeled next to my love.

"Cole, please wake up!" I cried as tears streamed down my face.

He layed motionless in my arms. A villain had killed him.

I lifted my head when I saw a boy who looked like Lloyd walking over to me.

I squeezed Cole hoping, wishing that he would wake up but he didn't.

"Hello Anna." he said.

"Lloyd?" I asked a little confused.

"I'm sorry but I am not Lloyd. My name is Chase, my master Darkment created me to be Lloyd's evil side."

I then looked down at his hands to see blood on them.

He did it.

"You killed Cole!"

He laughed a little and nodded.

"And sadly my sweet little Anna, I must end you as well!"

He then shot a lightnening bolt at me, but it never hit.

*Lloyd's POV*

I quickly ran into the room where I heard Serene scream. Spring ran into the room ahead of me and let out a sad roar. I walked over to where he was and was shocked at what I found.

There was blood on the floor but no Serene.

She was gone.

"No! Serene! Where are you?" I yelled.

"She is gone green ninja," a voice from behind me said.

I turned to see a tall man standing next to Andrew looking at me.

"Who are you and what did you do to Serene?!" I questioned.

The man smirked.

"My name is Darkment. Council was my brother and I have returned so I could kill his student and take control of the dimensions. As for your precious Serene, she is now dead. I killed her just as planned."

I stepped back in shock.

Andrew smirked.

"My master has given me orders to kill you Lloyd, so don't worry you will join my dear little sister soon."

This couldn't be happening.

I had to stop them.

I wouldn't give up now.

This isn't life or death.

This. Is. Revenge.
