"Explain what?" Adrien broke a sweat. It could be a number of things with her that she wants explained.

"Explain why you gave my best friend two hickeys!" Adrien choked on air while Plagg broke into laughter. Chloe grunted and walked away, not wanting to hear anymore of this, Sabrina soon following her.

"So you know she's mine." Adrien smirked and Plagg hit him on the back of the head.

"You're not a dog idiot." Plagg snickered and Adrien rolled his eyes and shook his head. Alya and the rest weren't impressed with his answer, and had more questions to ask when only one seemed like it was the right question to ask.

"Why Marinette? I know she's great and all but out of all the girls in Paris, why her?" Nino asked and everyone seemed to agree with the question.

"It's a long story-"

"And we have the time." Kim chuckled as they all sat down in front of Adrien and waited for him to tell the story. He blinked before sighing and not noticing Marinette sit in the back next to Rose and starting the story.

~Flashback since it's easier to tell the story. This may not be considered a flashback but I'm calling it that~

Adrien had just given Marinette his umbrella and felt something he has only felt with Ladybug so far. Compassion? Admiration? Nope, it was love. But he didn't know that, yet.

The next day she was a stuttering mess around him and he found it cute and it happened the next day, and the next, and the next, and the next. When Ladybug had assigned him to protect her, he saw it as a way to learn about her and gladly accepted the request.

Before Gamer attacked and he was playing Mega Strike 3 at her house he loved that she got comfortable around him and that her parents seemed to like him. When she gave him her 'lucky charm' he was more then thrilled and carried it with him everyday. He slowly realized he didn't like Ladybug anymore and liked Marinette more and more.

He liked everything about her more and more. Her hair, her eyes, her smile! Everything about her he loved. He wanted to know everything about her but the only way to get complete sentences out of her was when he visited her as Chat but rarely did it. It would be...odd if a superhero visited her every night even if there weren't akumas for that day or if she wasn't involved in the attack.

~Flashback that isn't a real flashback~

Adrien ended his story and a few girls were swooning while Marinette was surprised. She couldn't help but smile at the fact that he liked her, both sides of her, and chose the side that was more like her. She wiped away a stray tear and smiled at him.

"That's so sweet dude." Nino smiled at Adrien and everyone nodded.

"You made a good choice. Marinette is an amazing girl. And I'm not just saying that because I'm her best friend." Alya smiled. "Besides, Ladybug seemed to show no interest."

"Yeah I guess that's why I kinda, gave up, with going after her." Adrien sighed and ran his hand through his hair. Knocking Plagg off and he groaned as he caught himself then settled on his shoulder. He looked up and blushed when he saw Marinette in the back, blush on her cheeks, the best smile and the brightest eyes with tears of happiness spilling out.

"Love is gross, unlike my cheese that I need to eat!" Plagg groaned and Adrien furrowed his brows in frustration with the black cat.

"Your cheese is even more disgusting." A small voice giggled, making everyone look around since they've never heard the voice before.

"W-who was that?" Alix asked as she looked around at everyone else looking around. Marinette froze and smacked the side of her shirt and felt Tikki quickly move to the other side and groaned. Alix eyed her and Marinette froze again before a nervous smile crept onto her face.

"Tikki?" Plagg questioned. He knew that voice but, where did it come from? That's what he really needed to know. Adrien lifted a brow and tried to look at the Kwami as he frantically moved around looking for his other half.

"Plagg what're you doing?" Adrien asked as a small giggle came from that same voice and everyone looked around again. Marinette smacked the shirt again and Adrien blushed. "Mari? Is that my shirt?" He asked in disbelief and everyone turned to her.

"Uh y-yeah. I just grabbed the first shirt near my stuff." She sheepishly smiled as Alya squealed. Plagg flew by her and sniffed around. He knew that smell. Tikki giggled again and Plagg flew closer to her.

"Tikki?"
