"The Louvre Museum or as we say it, Musée du Louvre in french, is a national art museum in Paris, France. A central landmark of the city, it is located on the Right Bank of the Seine in the city's 1st arrondissement, a district, and home to some of the most canonical works of Western art, including the Mona Lisa and the Venus de Milo. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace, originally built in the late 12th-13th century under Philip II. Remnants of the Medieval Louvre fortress are visible in the basement of the museum. Due to urban expansion, the fortress eventually lost its defensive function and in 1546 Francis I converted it into the primary residence of the French Kings." The tour guide began to show the couple around the grand museum.

"Great Sphinx of Tanis also goes by the name “the guardian of the Louvre Museum.” Found in Tanis, Egypt’s capital during the 21st and 23rd Dynasties, she is one of the largest sphinxes you can find outside Egypt. Impressive to look at, the Great Sphinx of Tanis was discovered in 1825 among the ruins of the temple of Amun in Tanis. The claws are outstretched to give the impression that she’s ready to pounce on you. An interesting fact about this sphinx is that it’s difficult to date accurately." He continued with his script and guided them towards the various sculptures and paintings slowly.

"Shehnaaz!" Sidharth reprimanded when his wife yawned her mouth out.

"Yeh kitna boring hai yaar." She justified herself, looping her arm around her husband.

"Pani pi le, ye chewing gum kha." He suggested, forwarding her a centre fresh.

"De." She scowled and popped in the gum.

"Kab ayegi Mona Lisa, mai bore ho rahi hu." She mumbled, walking along.

"Aayegi, aayegi. Jab dikhegi toh tujhe Hi bhi karegi." He teased her and then watched her shrugging his hand away from hers and giving him silent treatment for the rest of their visit.

"Hello there." A white guy approached her while she was having a look at the painting of Napoleon's coronation.

"Amazing isn't it?" The guy spoke in his natively British accent.

"Indeed." She nodded, finding the topic of war interesting suddenly.

"I'm Christian by the way." He said, forwarding his hand to her.

"I'm Hindu." She replied, shaking her hands with the guy. He took a few seconds to realize that she was joking and he chuckled a little bit. She faked a laugh, realizing that she made a fool out of herself.

"Now I got it." He replied, saying that it was him who didn't get the joke.

"Shehnaaz." She smiled, introducing herself.

"Nice meeting you Shehnaaz." He replied and she chuckled, finding her name funny in his accent.

"Where have you been? Mai aa raha tha na." Sidharth joined them and asked his wife.

"Tu nahi aa raha tha, wo Hammurabi padhne me busy tha." She replied.

"Hammurabi book nahi hai, Raja ka naam hai aur mai uske laws padh raha tha, uss waqt ke kanoon itne interesting the." He explained it to her, why and how the manuscript gained all of his attention.

"Anyway, this is Christian, I just met him and he is my husband, Sidharth." She changed the topic, introducing the men.

"Hi there." Christian didn't know that the lady was married already, he missed to notice the ring on her right hand.

"Hey." Sidharth very shortly nodded, dismissively.

"Come, I'll show you something." He said, taking a hold of her hand and leading her towards the right.

"Mona Lisa?" She asked him.

"Iske baad hi hai, promise, but this is something you'll like." He replied and took her to a statue of Cupid and Psyche kissing.

"Inki love story world famous hai, she's Psyche, she was such a beautiful and perfect woman that people thought she was the incarnation of Venus, the goddess of beauty, desire, sex and fertility and so much more. But Venus got jealous when she heard about that, toh usne Cupid, apne bete, ko bheja Psyche ki life barbad karne ke liye." He told her whatever he had heard from their guide and read from the internet in an easy manner.

"But they fell in love instead?" She asked him, intrigued like a child.

"They did but there is so much more and Venus made it impossible for them to reunite again." He replied.

"How?" She asked him.

"Cupid began to fall in love with Psyche from the moment he saw her, but followed his mother's instructions anyway. He told her he couldn't reveal his face or identity." He told her and enjoyed the various kinds of expressions she made while listening to him.

"She was already abandoned by her father and cupid used to love her every night, it made her fall in love with him until she realized that she was pregnant with a man's child she hadn't seen yet. So she decided to see who he was and when she finally saw him, she got to know that everything since the beginning was a trap." He filled her with the details.

"Oh no! Phir kya hua?" Shehnaaz was upset as she got to know more about the protagonist.

"Cupid toh chala gaya aur wo phir se akeli ho gayi. Jab usne cupid ko dhoond na chalu kiya, Venus ne kuch challenges diye usko aur Psyche ne sare acche se pass kiye. But Venus cheated, she gave her a jar and asked her not to open it but Psyche eventually opened it out of curiosity and that jar was not filled with beauty but with the sleep of innermost darkness. She fell unconscious." He replied.

"Kutti hai yeh Venus!" She commented and he couldn't help but laugh, wrapping his arm around her lovingly.

"Phir!" She demanded him to finish the story.

"Phir kya, Cupid aaya Psyche ko dhoondhte hue, found her asleep with the jar next to her and knew what had happened. His heart was broken, so he took her in his arms to give her one last kiss. His kiss of true love revived Psyche and she woke up." He finished the story for her.

"And this was when she woke up?" She excitedly asked, pointing towards the sculpture.

"Yep!" He smiled.

"Awww!" She blinked away her tears of joy and rested her head on his shoulders as she empathetically looked at the sculpture. A diehard romantic story could shake anybody's core with intense feelings and beliefs.

They moved forward and finally came across the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci, it was undoubtedly the most famous in the world.

"It looks as though she is smiling until you look at her head-on. From this angle, her mouth looks downturned." Sidharth whispered into her ears, pointing towards the Mona Lisa.

"Are you serious?" She asked him with her eyes open wide.

"Han! Dekh." He nodded, gesturing her to try it and chuckled when she gasped with  amazement when the painting's face smiled from only one of the angles.

"This is so cool!" She remarked, walking along with him hand in hand till they covered the rest of the museum.

"Maza aa rahe hai?" Mankiran had video-called her sister later in the night.

"Arey Han! Bohot yaar!" Shehnaaz said, lazing around the room.

"Subha museum me itna maza aaya! Aise toh I didn't like history but bro! Udhar itne unique aur mast mast sculptures the! BY GAWD! I'm loving this city! Aur phir hum Eiffel Tower dekhne gaye paas se, it is so wonderful! Beautiful! Lekin na jab raat ko, uski lighting chalu hoti hai, it is magical, magnificent and mind-blowing! Mai tujhe pictures bhjeti rahungi!" She added, about how she was having a gala time.

"How's it with Jeeju?" Mankiran asked when she saw Sidharth was in the background, pretending that he was on a call but he could definitely hear tits and bits of their conversation.

"He's the best part of this trip! Pata hai, usko itni knowledge hai iss jagah ki but he has never been here before! Museum ke antiques dekh ke bada curious ho gaya tha. He genuinely likes to gain information! Aur phir usne mujhe easy language me kafi kuch samjhaya bhi! I mean how rare is that?" Shehnaaz replied, feeling as if she could go on and on about her husband.

"Aww!" Mankiran smiled and then saw that Sidharth had stopped whatever he was doing, he definitely heard her.

"Hii handsome! Thodu sa time mere liye bhi nikaal lijiye!" She called out for him.

"Hey! Look who's here! We're not missing you at all Mankiran." He teased her.

"Koi na, I'll get back to you when you come back!" She huffed angrily and faked an arrogant face.

"Just kidding, kuch chahiye toh abhi bata dena." He replied, offering her.

"Aisa hai, toh aap log jaha ruke hai, waha se kuch hi dur ek Louis Vuitton ka store hai. I hope aapki choice acchi hogi?" She questioned, if he could get her a bag from one of the most famous and expensive brands.

"Oh, you can trust me with that!" He waved his hand as if it was nothing while the girls gave him a curiously unbelievable look.

"Kitna sahi lag raha hai na ye Tower? Haaye, kitne aur couples aate hai na yaha? Sab kitne khush lag rahe hai!" Shehnaaz was talking to him once they were done with their dinner, recalling their visit to the Eiffel Tower. They were closely cuddling on the long couch together, adjusting themselves together after a few rounds of making love.

"Hmm." He replied, carelessly easing her arms she had kept around him with a smile on her face.

"Were you serious about the bag? Bohot mehenga aata hai!" She asked him suddenly.

"I know! You know how much I earn, right?" He rolled his eyes at her and heard her chuckle.

"Baat wo nahi hai." She mentioned and he felt her hand around him getting stiff.

"This trip must have cost you a fortune. About Manu, mai le lungi uske liye bag!" She said.

"Tujhe lena hai bag toh le, mai toh vaise bhi leke jaunga uske liye. It'll be good, she'll have two of them." He shrugged.

"Sidhaaarth!" She whined cutely, cupping his face so as to lean him down towards her. He obliged, kissing her lips, cheeks, neck and all the way to her shoulder and rolled over her.
