"Aao sare. Batao apne favourite colours!" Shehnaaz was distributing clothes among the children a couple of days ago in the slum. While Sidharth was looking after the bundle of books and packed food being given away along with his people.

"Aunty, iss taraf baccho ka saman hai. Khane ka stall aage laga hai." Ria told an old lady who had entered the children's stall, believing she had mistaken.

"Kaku, tithe jevan ahe." Adith translated the same for the old lady, wondering if she wasn't familiar with Hindi. He exchanged a small coy smile with Ria before guiding the lady out.

"Nahi nahi, jyane he ayojana kele, tyala mala bhetayace hote. Mi shakato ka?" The lady replied that she wanted to meet the person who had organised this give away and asked if she could meet them. Ria went to Shehnaaz to inform her about the lady because she wasn't able to grab the Marathi conversation in between Adith and the lady.

"Everything okay, Adith?" Shehnaaz asked Adith.

"Kuch nahi Mam, yeh kaam maangne aayi hain." He informed her.

"Yeh kaam karengi?!" Shehnaaz was shocked by the very wrinkled old lady whose back was bent to half her height. She looked like she wouldn't be able to walk without support.

"Inka dhyan rakhne wala koi nahi hai kya?" She asked again.

"Koi nahi hai mam, isliye kaam maang rahi hain. Bata rahi thi pehle kaam kar chuki hai factories me." Adith informed further.

"Oh. Haaye, iss bichari ke pass koi nahi hai phir bhi help nahi maang rahi. Kaam dhund rahi hai!?" She was surprised to come across such a personality.

"Adith, ek kaam karo, aap inko bithao, filhaal ke liye khana do. Sidharth se baat karenge, inke liye kahi-kuch arrange karenge. Inse kaam kaise karwa sakte hai hum?" She suggested after giving herself a moment to think.

"Yes mam." Adith nodded, guiding the lady out towards the other stall and telling her the same.

They were there in the slum for a couple of hours till they emptied the boxes loaded with books, clothes and food. "Sidharth sunna. Mujhe yaha ek aunty mile the." She told him while they were walking back towards their car through the extremely narrow colonies.

"Ha, Adith ne bataye mujhe. Chali gayi kya wo abhi?" He asked her.

"Ha, shayad chali gayi. Mai soch rahi thi, ke matlab unke jaise toh aur kai sare buzurg dikhe na aaj. Hum unko sabko kisi old age home me shift karwa de kya?" She asked.

"Hum kaise karwa sakte hai? Tune pucha unse ke wo jana chahte hai ya nahi?" He asked her. Her thoughts were extremely considerate and kind but she should know that there were going to be lots of procedures and paperwork for the case.

"Nahi pucha, pehle socha tujh se iss bare me baat karlu. Lekin wo kyu nahi jana chahenge? Achi facilities, rehne ki jagah, saaf ghar, khana aur medical help milega unko!" She replied, wondering what was wrong with her idea.

"I understand what you're implying, sweetheart. Baat karte hain pehle un logon se aur phir aage ke arrangements karenge. I know some people who run NGOs. Thik hai?" He answered her, assuring her about it.

"Hmm." She nodded, getting into the car with him.

"Ria ko bhi drop karna tha, ruk ek second, usko call karti hu." She mumbled.

"Ria, kaha hai tu? Oh-achaaaa! Acha thik hai." She talked to her  assistant and hung up with a smug smile on her face.

"Adith usko ghar drop kar dega! I told you na, they're secretly dating! Usne naam nahi liya Adith ka lekin mai samajh gayi, usne jis hesitation se mana kiya na. Sab samajh aa gaya!" She told him and giggled.

"Really? Usne mana kiya aur tu samajh gayi ki Adith hi usko drop karega!?" He asked her challengingly.

"It's obvious Sidharth! I'm like 90% sure!" She confidently replied.

"What about the remaining 10?" He asked her again.

"Matlab tujhe mere pe vishwas nahi hai?" She bluntly asked him back with a tint of annoyance in her tone because her husband just wasn't ready to agree with her on this.

"Haina darling! Maine aisa kab kaha?" He immediately answered, speaking softly.

"Toh tu manta haina ki Adith aur Ria hum se chhup chhup ke mil rahe hai?" She asked with an expectant smile.

"Maine aisa bhi nahi kaha. Tere pass proofs hi nahi hai." He replied and saw red, Shehnaaz was probably gritting her teeth the way her jaws seemed to be locked.

"I hate you!" She mouthed and hit his bicep, turning away to look out of the window in anger. He silently chuckled, she would get riled up so easily at times and it was always a pleasure doing that to her.

A couple of days later the two looked into the matter in the slum and got someone to talk and ask all those senior citizens about moving into an old age home and expectedly most of them had agreed to the proposal. Ramya knew a lot of people who ran NGOs and she talked to one of her friends about the cause.

Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space for all the senior citizens altogether so they were looking for a new place to keep them when something struck Shehnaaz and she suggested if they could arrange a place by themselves, turn another place into an old age home for them or something and shifting them over there. Sidharth liked the idea and discussed it with everyone before proceeding with it. He had an old bungalow in Khar that he bought a few years ago and had thought of selling it off or renovating it for himself someday until she suggested that he could do something better with it and this was their new project.

"I'm so glad my daughter in law came up with this suggestion. It was really thoughtful of you, beta!" Ramya congratulated Shehnaaz in front of her friends and family who were invited for cocktails and dinner to celebrate their collaboration with Balaji Old age homes.

"Proud of you!" Parminder smiled and complimented the thought as they continued to talk about it.

"What a waste of money." Sukhbir mumbled, he was however not happy with the news.

"You could have sold that bungalow for millions! Or thought of a mall or something, kitne sare investors mil jate. Why did you-" He told his son in law who was standing next to him.

"I like the idea of an old age home more! And we're going to inaugurate it soon. Aapko sahi na lage, toh na aaye." Sidharth politely replied, trying not to lose his patience with this guy.

Every time he saw Sukhbir, it reminded him of the things he did, from traumatizing his own daughter with trust issues to double crossing his son in law. Speaking of that, Sidharth still didn't get the time to talk to Shehnaaz about the problem her father was causing her. Be it the festival or work load, their busy schedules or ganpati poojas, he knew he didn't have the courage to talk to her about this because he had a feeling that it was going to cause problems among them and was using them as excuses. He knew if he were to oppose Sukhbir regarding their contract and partnership in any way, his marriage will be deliberately dragged into the issue thereby putting his relationship at stake.

"Kya soch rahi hai?" Sidharth nudged his wife's shoulder a little too hard playfully. Done with the Ganpati Visarjan, their days were back to the normal ones.

"Ek kaam kar, idhar dhakka hi dede mujhe bed se!" Shehnaaz snapped at him.

"Thik hai." He replied and pushed her out of the bed but caught her hand before she could touch the ground while half of her was hanging off the bed like a loose branch on a tree.

"PAGAL HAI TU! Gir jati mai abhi!" She screamed at him, the sudden and unexpected push had her heart in her mouth.

"I'm sorry." He laughed as he apologized.

"Baat mat kariyo mujhse ab!" She snapped at him as she inked her middle finger up.

"I said I'm sorry. Mazak kar raha tha yaar." He sobered up and seriously apologized, pulling her closer to himself.

"Hath nahi lagana mujhe! Dur reh! Teri problem kya hai?" She revolted when he touched her.

"Meri problem pata hai kya hai? Ke mai tujhse dur hi nahi reh sakta." He replied in a sensuous whisper, throwing his right hand and leg over her to capture her in place.

"Not my problem." She faked a smile as she pushed him away.

"Maan ja na yaar!" He whined as he pushed her to the bed again and hovered at her.

"You know, you're manhandling me!" She mentioned, trying to push away his chest but he just wouldn't move.

"Baby, I'm just a man, who's handling you." He replied and started into her eyes only to find her sheerly annoyed.

"Sidharth, kutte, mai na marungi ab tujhe!" She huffed angrily while her eyes reflected fire and she fisted his hair tightly.

"Oww! Ow! Sorry, I'm sorry. No more jokes. Come, darling." He immediately backed off, gently helping her sit up.

"Kya soch rahi thi tu batana!?" He asked, initiating something to talk about.

"Argh. Bhool gayi teri nautanki ke dekh ke." She said as she shook her head.

"Ha, yaad aaya. Mai soch rahi the ke sab acche se ho jaye bas, old age home ka kaam. Matlab, ek bungalow se koi kya kuch bana sakta hai, renovate kar sakta hai, kisi ko bech sakta, I bet that property was over 50 crores." She mentioned.

"80 crores actually. Location accha hai aur bungalow ki condition bhi." He replied and she widened her eyes to the information.

"Haye! Iska matlab hai ke tujhe nuksan ho raha hai iss bunglow ko NGO walo dene ke badle?!" She worriedly asked him.

"Not exactly. Paisa bhale hi kam hai, lekin aur bhi benefits hain. Publicity, appreciation, recognition and more clients, Balaji ka mai patent builder ban jaunga aur tu uss NGO ki trustee banegi. I think it's a good enough deal. All thanks to you!" He replied, caressing her into his embrace.

"Hmm." She smiled, looking into his eyes. They came forward and rested their foreheads together for a moment before giving into a slow and sweet kiss.

"Mai bohot khush hu, tu bhi khush hai na?" She asked, caressing his face into her hands.

"Bohot zyada." He replied, carrying her into his lap and holding her in place before sucking her lips in a passion driven manner. He cradled her in his hands, working her clothes out and she did the same to him.

He slid his hand down her long back, thereby his touch creating havoc inside her and leaving goosebumps behind while his hand traveled all the way back up again and cupped her bosom. She snuggled into him with her eyes closed and feeling extremely ecstatic all the more as they felt the heat rushing through. Soon, they were frantically moving against each other writhing with sweat and rejoicing in each other's company.
