Do you think it’s necessary to take an extrance exam to enter a college or university

From my ppoint of view, it’s necessary for high school students to take an extrance exam to enter a college or university. Honestly, I think the exam will evaluate the ability and knowledge of a student after 12 years study. Students have to pass the exam in order to move totertiary level. And if they fail, they have to make the other choice. Besides, taking the xam is one of promotions motives encouraging students to learn harder and better to gain knowlegeand achieve future. The final reson is that a serious exam can reduce bad pratices in education such as buying examiner. Because when organising an entrance exam, educational authorities have to set up Boards of Examination to observe so that it will be fair and unambiguous. Because of reasons above, I belive that taking extrance exam to enter a college or university is very important and necessary.
