JUNGKOOK POV

(That night)

Jungkook lay on his bed with his phone in his hands, but he couldn't bring himself to use it. He couldn't stop thinking about strawberries and Taehyung.

Why the hell can I not get him out of my fucking head?

He sighed as he finally picked up his phone to text Yoongi. He knew he would need a distraction over the weekend.

Jungkook: Hey Yoongi hyung

      Yoongi: Hey Jungkook, what's up?

Jungkook: Did you want to go grab lunch at that cafè down the street tomorrow?

Yoongi: Yeah, why not? 1 PM?

Jungkook: That's perfect. See you then!

He set his phone down before taking a deep breath. He decided to try and get some sleep, since there was nothing else he wanted to do. Hopefully tomorrow I won't be thinking of... him.

(The next day)

After tossing and turning all night, Jungkook gave up at around six in the morning. He got out of his bed and walked into his bathroom, wincing at his appearance. He had dark bags under his eyes, and is hair was sticking up in every direction.

He walked back into his room and started doing push-ups. He preferred to workout in the mornings. He had to keep his muscles that he had worked so hard for. After his workout, he took a quick shower and went downstairs to his kitchen to make breakfast.

After eating, Jungkook checked the time. 8:45 AM. He groaned. He still had about three hours until he could leave to grab lunch with Yoongi. Not knowing what else to do, he turned on the television in his living room and watched some stupid show about these celebrities who couldn't quit arguing with each other.

(12:30 PM)

Jungkook sighed. He had watched more television in the past three hours than he has in the last week, and he felt drained of his energy. He got off the couch, checked his appearance once more before walking out his front door, locking it behind him.

He didn't live far from the cafè, so he knew he would be early but he just couldn't stand sitting around anymore. When he walked into the cafè, he was greeted by a familiar looking man.

"Hello! Welcome to the Pink Pony Cafè! Is it just you today?"

"No, two of us."

"Okay! You can sit right over here. When the other person arrives I'll be back to take your order!" The wide-shouldered man said before setting two menus down at a metal table.

Jungkook checked his phone: 12:51 PM. Yoongi should be here soon.

At exactly 1:00 PM the bells rang, and a few seconds later the mint-haired boy sat in front of Jungkook. "Hey Jungkook."

The younger smiled at him slightly, nodded in acknowledgement.

"Damn, why do you look like shit?" Yoongi had a genuine look of concern in his eyes, but a chuckle escaped his lips.

"Gee, thanks." Jungkook rolled his eyes. "I just didn't sleep well, that's all. Anyway, we should figure out what we want before the guy comes to take our orders."

A few minutes later, the waiter walked back to the table. "Are you two ready to order?"

Yoongi cleared his throat. "Yes, I'll have the chicken club sandwich with fries."

"Okay, and what can I get for you, Jungkook?"

Jungkook whipped his head up to the waiter. "Wait, how do you-"

"We go to the same school. I'm Seokjin, but most people call me Jin. You bully the hell out of my friend. I know who you are. Now, what can I get for you?" His voice was dry.

"Um," Jungkook shuffled in his seat a little before speaking again. "I will have the spinach and strawberry salad, but with feta cheese and no strawberries."

Jin chuckled lightly. "Okay, I'll be back in a bit with your food."

Yoongi looked at Jungkook directly in the eyes. "Why did you say no strawberries? You fucking love strawberries. You eat them with everything."

Jungkook shrugged. "I just don't feel like strawberries today." That was a lie, of course. I said no strawberries because they would just make me think of Taehyung.

TAEHYUNG POV

Taehyung didn't sleep well last night. He continued to roll around, getting himself tangled up in the sheets, but he couldn't bring himself to sleep.

Taehyung checked his phone at around five in the morning, seeing that Jimin had texted him.

Jimin: Tae, I know it's kind of late, or early, however you want to look at it.

Jimin: Did you want to grab lunch today? We can go to the cafè Jin works at?

                 Taehyung: Sure. What time?

Jimin: He has his break at 1:30, wanna meet up with him then?

                  Taehyung: sounds good.

Taehyung walked into the cafè and going to his usual table in the corner. Jin walked over after a minute, wiping his hands on his apron. He took a seat across from Taehyung.

"Jimin on his way?" Taehyung nodded. "Great. Now, Taehyung. I feel like, as your friend, I should warn you."

"Warn me about what?" Taehyung bit his bottom lip.

"Jungkook and Yoongi are sitting a few tables down."

"Crap," Taehyung breathed out. "Just what I need."

"I'm sorry. Oh, look, here's Jiminie!" Jin stood up and gave Jimin a hug. "What do you all want to eat or drink? I'll go put the order in before I clock out for my break."

Taehyung and Jimin relayed their usual orders to Jin, who walked off smiling.

"Taehyung, since when does Jungkook come here?" Jimin whispered in Taehyung's ear.

"No clue." Taehyung shrugged, keeping his eyes down.

"He's freaking everywhere. Okay. I forgot to pee before I walked here so I'll be right back." He got out of his chair and walked towards the restrooms.

Taehyung could hear Jimin's name being called from a few tables down. "Ah, Jimin! How lovely to see you." Taehyung could practically hear the smirk in Jungkook's voice.

"I'm not in the mood, Jungkook. Just let me enjoy the afternoon with my friends for once."

"Wow look at you protecting your boyfriend. It's cute."

"Just let him pee, Kook." Yoongi exhaled.

"What?"

"He just wants to pee. He did nothing, let him be."

Jungkook chuckled. "Fine. Have a nice date, Jimin."

Taehyung cringed. He hated Jungkook so much. He couldn't help but wonder what caused Yoongi to speak up. Maybe Yoongi isn't as bad as he thought he was.

A/N: this chapter probably sounds hella rushed but I'm tired and I have homework I need to get to. I may or may not add a little more in later on, but I'm lazy so that probably won't happen.

What a little cutie-patootie. Imagine if every person on the planet had the chance to have a Kim Taehyung. Wow.
