(The next day- the day of the carnival)

The morning was spent setting up the various booths and games for the carnival. The carnival would open to the guests in about twenty minutes. Taehyung stood back and looked at his booth, shaking his head.

"It's only for today, Tae, and then it'll be over." Taehyung felt an arm drape over his shoulders and turned to see a small man with pink hair.

"Yeah, I just have to make it through today. Thanks, Jiminie-hyung." His friend smiled at him before walking over to his booth, only two booths away from Taehyung's kissing booth.

"Taehyung, go get changed! You have to look presentable!" Namjoon shouted from across the lawn.

Taehyung groaned before walking to the bathroom with his clothes. He threw on a pair of black skinny jeans with some rips above the knees, with a black and white striped shirt and a denim jacket. After making sure his hair looked good, he walked out and back over to his book.

He looked over to see Jimin smirking at him. "What?"

"You look good, Tae. I'm sure somebody will want to pay to kiss you." Taehyung just rolled his eyes and sat down on the stool behind him, placing his elbows on the table and his chin on his hands.

"Okay people! Best behavior please, and let's make some money! Remember, the more money we make the better homecoming dance we will have! We're about to open!"

Great, Taehyung thought.

(A few hours later)

"Taehyung, how're you doing over here?" Namjoon walked over to the booth to check on him.

"I'm bored as shit, hyung."

Namjoon couldn't help but release a breathy chuckle. "That's not what I meant. How much have you made?"

"Well, considering the majority of people here are girls and everyone knows I'm gay, not so well."

"You just have to attract them, Taehyung. Bring in the customers. You can't do that while slouching with a giant frown on your face." The older paused for a second while he thought. "How about this: if you can make $50 by the end of the day, I won't make you volunteer your time at the homecoming dance and you can just enjoy the night. Do we have a deal?"

"Yeah, sure. Whatever, hyung." Namjoon nodded and walked off, leaving Taehyung alone again. He looked over at Jimin's booth, which was full of people of all ages and genders. His cash tray was overflowing with money.

Nobody gives a shit about me, Taehyung thought. Just then, a girl he didn't recognize walked over to his booth with a group of a few other girls.

"Hello," she smiled. Her smile was bright and her face was beautiful. If Taehyung was straight, his heart would be doing backflips right now. "Could you tell me how to get to the merry-go-round by chance?"

Taehyung slouched over. "Hmm, yeah. You just follow this path until you reach the water gun game, take a left, and after a few booths it should be on your right."

"Oh thank you! I really appreciate it. I'm new here so I didn't know who to ask, but you looked friendly. I'm Tiffany, what's your name?"

"I'm Taehyung."

"Well, it's lovely to meet you Taehyung. Since you helped me, how much do I pay for a kiss?"

"You really don't have to do that."

"I insist." She smiled at him again, leaning forward ever so slightly. She was wearing a sundress that was a little loose in the chest, so when she leaned over, Tae could see all the way down her chest.

He glanced away before speaking. "$5 for a peck, $10 for thirty seconds."

She thought for a second before answering. "Here," she said, handing him a $10 bill.

"A-Are you serious?" He was shocked. She didn't even know him.

"I'm serious. Now, could we do this so I don't waste my money?" She winked.

Taehyung could feel his insides cringing as he leaned in, after setting the time for thirty seconds. He could feel the girl trying to slip her tongue in his mouth, but he wouldn't allow access. Finally, the timer went off, and Taehyung pulled away.

"How unfair, you didn't even give me a decent kiss!" She pouted before walking off with her group of friends, who sent glares his way.

Taehyung went back to slouching again after wiping her saliva off of his mouth, disgusted with himself. He looked up to see a familiar group of people eyeing him. He could hear their laughter. Taehyung looked back down at the ground.

JUNGKOOK POV

He stood with his friends, looking at the kissing booth, laughing. They had seen the whole thing with the new girl. She had walked off muttering curse words under her breath about how she wasted her money.

"Hey Jungkook, you should go see if he really is a waste of money like she says," Sehun said, chuckling. "I dare you."

"Shit, I can't turn down a dare now can I?" Jungkook smirked. "What do you think, Yoongi?"

Yoongi glanced at Taehyung before facing his friend. "It's all up to you." Yoongi tried not to encourage him too much.

"Well, as I said, I can't turn down a dare. Watch and learn boys." He started walking over to the booth where Taehyung sat, alone. "Hello, Taehyung. How are you?" He chuckled slightly and leaned forward with his elbows on the booth.

TAEHYUNG'S POV

"What do you want now, Jungkook?" He rolled his eyes, leaning back slightly to be further away from the younger.

"Well, you see, that girl Tiffany? I heard her saying she wasted her money kissing you. So, my friends dared me to see just how much of a waste you are." He leaned closer at the last few words, almost spitting in Taehyung's face.

"I don't have to do anything if I don't want to, and I don't want to kiss you so you can't make me." Taehyung crossed his arms.

"Oh, Taehyung, I think you misheard me." He grabbed the older by his collar, yanking him right in front of his face. "I'm not giving you a choice. I will pay you $20 for a thirty second kiss."

Taehyung tried yanking himself away from the younger, without success. "I'm not a prostitute, Jungkook. You can't force me into anything by paying more money."

"Now you see, Taehyung. I was dared to do this. I never turn down a dare."

"Well I'm so sorry Jungkook, but the answer is no."

"$50."

Taehyung froze. That would make him be able to go to homecoming, if he chose to. He would probably end up by himself, sleeping or watching a movie. But he would get the night to himself. He sighed. "Fine. But only because that would get me out of homecoming."

Jungkook smiled before he pulled out his wallet, handing the money to the older. "Let's see if Tiffany was right, shall we?"

Jungkook leaned forward and put his lips on Taehyung's.

A/N: Yay, we're finally at the good stuff! I'm excited.
