"ALL RIGHT, first you're gonna see all kinds of lights, and it's gonna get really trippy but then it's gonna turn black and silent. Really silent."

Christina scoffed at Scott's description. "You say that like it's a bad thing."

He only frowned at her. "I'm serious, Chrissy. I'm just saying this cause I've been down there."

"We'll be fine. Have some faith." Hope commented after, passing by him to stand beside Christina.

Scott's phone rang and he quickly excused himself. Hank joined the two women, starting to talk about meeting Janet again after so many years. Although she grew up around Janet, Christina didn't feel like it was her place to stay around.

She stepped away from them, going on her phone to reply to texts and catch up on social media.

After a while, Scott rejoined the group with a pained expression. Before he could even open his mouth to explain, Christina rolled her eyes, smacking her forehead. "Oh geez, what now?"

"I feel like such a jerk." Scott shook his head, glancing at all three. "You're gonna be really mad. We gotta go now."

Hope and Hank both narrowed their eyes, "What?"

"Ghost knows where we are. So does the FBI?"

"The FBI? Scott, what the hell did you do?" Christina asked, brows now fully furrowed.

"How?" Hank inquired after.

"I told Luis where we are."

"You what?"

"I told him to come here so he could help us with the Karapetyan proposal." Scott defended, shaking his head slighltly. When Hope expressed her bewilderment, he commented further; "Look, we really need to land that account! Otherwise, we'll lose the business."

"Chris, you wanna slap him for me?" Hank murmured, although it was loud enough for all of them to hear.

She shifted her weight to one foot, placing a hand on her hip. "It's intriguing."

Scott shot Christina a look of disbelief. "Do you know how hard it is for ex-cons to find work these days?"

"Jesus, Scott!" Hank threw up his hands, turning away. He and his daughter quickly made it for the lab, with Christina and then Scott following.

They started to pack up as much as they could, as quickly as they could. While Hank and Christina packed, Hope shut down the portal. "Ninety seconds to close the aperture."

"You have to depolarize the coils first," Hank reminded, glancing up into the testing room.

"I'm really sorry," Scott commented, glancing around at everyone working. "But the FBI is coming to my place so...I have to go. Can I borrow the suit?"

Hank shot him a hurt look, pressing a button on the controls.

"Gyroscopic stabilizers, powering on." An automated voice said, making Scott pace when he realized he was being ignored.

He fished in his pocket, holding up the case that contained an Ant Man suit. "Look, uh, I'm just gonna borrow this suit. I-I'll come back. Just tell me where you'll be."

"Just go, Scott... We can handle this ourselves." Christina pressed in a firm voice, turning to him. Her face was unreadable to him, which hurt him more. "We've done this before; without you."

"Don't bother. We'll come to you and get the suit as soon as we've found my mom." Hope added, backing up Chris.

Scott glanced between the two. When Christina noticed him open his mouth to say something else, she beat him to it, "Just go!"

When Hope and Hank looked at Scott, on her side as well, he shook his head and left.

THEY MADE it out of the lab in less than ten minutes. Hank backed up, shrinking the lab. "Start the van, I'll get the lab."

When the building shrunk down to the size of a backpack, a crowd of FBI agents were behind it, quickly aiming their guns. "Freeze! You're surrounded!"

Christina gasped, and she felt Hope grip her wrist in fright. A siren chirped behind them, and more police cars rolled through the thick forest. When they parked, a man exited with a smirk. "Hank Pym, Hope Van Dyn and Christina Clark. You're under arrest."

After a slow moment, they all obeyed, raising their arms into the air. A few agents moved forward, placing handcuffs on their wrists and putting them into the back into a car.

The doors shut and the agents walk away. Hope grunts, glancing over her shoulder at them. Hank tries to pull at the cuffs, but it's no use. Christina shakes her head, trying to rid the hairs in her face.

"What are we gonna do now? The lab's gone." Christina huffs angrily, also trying to break the binds. Hank shakes his head with a sigh.

"Don't panic. We'll figure it out."

"How do you figure that? We're sitting in the back of a car and--"

"What is it?" A voice cuts her office with a hiss, outside the car. Christina quiets down and all three listen to two officers walk by quickly.

"We have a man down." The woman replies as they pass by the car. "And Pym's lab is gone."

Everyone glanced around, each of their stomachs dropping in dread.

THE MALE agent fixed Hope's cuffs last before stepping back. "Agent Woo will see you within an hour."

"An hour?" Hank brought up before he could leave. "We don't have an hour."

"Oh," the agent smirked, leaning a hand against the doorframe. "You got somewhere else to be?"

"Actually yes," Christina sassed back as best she could. She remained deadpanned, only cocking one eyebrow. The agent scoffed at her, shutting the door and leaving. She glanced around the small interrogation room, oddly finding no cameras.

Hope's jaw moved before a bobby pin suddenly appeared between her lips. Leaning down, she grabbed it with her hands and quickly started working on the handcuffs. Hank smiled, "Now that's my girl."

"Have I ever told you, you're my favourite?" Christina chuckled, leaning down so she could see Hope. Hope smiled back, giving a small wink.

After unlocking all their cuffs, Hope leaned down again.

"All right, what's our plan?" Hank questioned, rubbing his wrists.

Hope wordlessly disclosed a red disk from her boot. She gestured to the wall adjacent to them, "To shrink that wall."

"It looks load-bearing."

"You sure you can shrink a wall by itself?" Christina asked after Hank. "Wouldn't the walls cave in and the ceiling collapse?"

"My thought's exactly," Hank hummed, glancing around.

"Then we run like hell," Hope answered flatly, shoving the bobby pin back into her hair.

"I estimate fifteen to twenty agents on the floor."

"All probably with guns too."

"Roughly five times that in a building that large," Hope sighed. "Not great odds."

"You got any better ideas?" Hank asked, turning to Christina. Hope leaned down to glance at her.

Christina shrugged loosely. "Make a break out that door and hope that no agents are on the floor currently?"

The father and daughter only shook their heads, knowing Chris' dim humour. Hope looked at her father, "I'm not giving up on mom."

"She'd be so proud of you," Hank smiled warmly, peering at Christina too, "You as well. She said you like a daughter to her."

With a pat on the back, they all rise from their seats and stand at the opposite wall. Hope shakes her shoulders loose. "Okay...one...two..."

Suddenly, the Wasp suit appears on the table, growing to normal size from seemingly nothing. They all pause, silent.

"You guys see that too...right?" Christina mumbled, leaning in towards Hank.
