Heyho my children!

Sooo.... another shorter chapter, with some rather random clothing designs, that I started sometime in march, and dug out again in june.

The main idea, was to create a set of culty robes, as you can probably see the best in the left image, but when coming back, I decided to rather go with leaders of an organisation or something, but from different countries!

Ngl, it was a shitload of fun, figuring the palettes out, since they're all green and yellow, but in different tones, making them somewhat coheisive, but also very different amongst each other. The first design was, what actually inspired me to this idea! Originially I had this more muted colour scheme for the left outfit in mind, something rather white and blue for the middle one, and an earthy toned palette with light gold details for the one on the right.
I still think that the outfits I had in mind would've looked great, but these colours are just... argh I fell in love with them.

Enough talking about colours, let's talk more about the designs!

The one on the left was very much inspired by several other artists' designs, that I found on pinterest. And since I just love ponchos on my characters, I decided to have some fun with them and also add some fancy necklaces and all that. I decided to make the outfit inspired by southern cultures of mesoria, especially the fireforgean and wavecallish clothes!

When I then came back to the second design, I decided to delve a bit more into the western style of clothing, with tunics, asymmetrical earrings, etc. whilst also keeping the southern flair, that the first outfit had.

Aaand for the right I just had fun with eastern clothing styles. Nothing all too special, just a lot of asymmetry, dangling stuff, fabrics hanging off of belts, etc. also trying to add in some themes that also were included in the other two outfits ^-^

Generally I decided to go ahead and make them clothing that's part of this organisation, that's also very religiously inspired and influenced by the ancient gods.
When thinking about that, I instantly had the urge, to make the outfit with a western style, instantly the least fitting to the other two. Since Kruaden is the most modern and highest developed continent of the four, I thought that they would be more likely to break rules and take their own twist on the robes, which is why that one ended up not having a mask to hide the lower half of the face, and also shows some collar-bone action ^-^"
The east was supposed to be the most colourful of the three, which is why it may look the least fitting to the set, since the other two palettes are more turqouise and muted. This was simply to show the lively and colourful nature of the people in Aulath, since they tend to be more optimistic and bright in not only personality, but also clothing >w<

So yeah! There we go, me ranting about outfit designs and some more cultural aspects of mesoria, hope ya don't mind ^-^"

I also hope, that you liked the outfits I drew and maybe would like to stick around for some more art and designs of mine! Either way, I'm always glad to read comments of yours, even though I became a bit lazy in replying lately.... rlly should go through the book again and make sure I answered everyone.....

So yeah!

Hope you're doing well, remember to take care of yourself, and until we see each other next time:
