Howdy ho mah kiddos!!

So yall probably already know how this works... person A draws a lineart and person B colours it, and then the final images compete against one another in a contest organised by MicaAppatossis ^-^

In round 1 I worked with trademark37 to create this piece:

In round 2 I got to work with leoparde 3 and coloured this piece:

And now, for round three, I was put in the same team as drawing_Angel666!

But since I did the colouration for the last two pieces, I decided to switch things up a bit and do the lineart this time around!
Nothing all that special, we had the topic "eyes" and since that's totally down my alley (I mean.... i literally have one in my signature gkajdgvkser), I quite quickly had an image in mind.

Essentially I wanted to portray someone kinda holy with an eye on his forehead and his palm.... yeah..... I'm totally out of practise with writing these things, so bear with me QwQ

In the end I then had this, which I then sent to Angel ^-^

aaand.... well.... I did indeed like the lineart a lot, so I decided to colour it in myself ^-^

Originally I invisioned something mostly black and white, with those eyes breaking a bit of contrast in a bright red or orange..... yeah that totally happened >>cough cough<<

So after I filled in the flats, I decided that a more pale white and blue palette, probably would look better. Which is why I more or less inverted the entire pallete!

I really enjoyed where that was going, so when it came to rendering the thing, I turned to rather warm shadows and a pale blue light source from the top right. After I rendered the skin though, I realised that the entire thing was lacking some sort of colour contrast, so I added a secondary light source from the bottom left in warmer, fiery colours ^-^

So yeah.... I then also had a lot of fun with shiny overlays and highlights, especially when it came to the background .....

And since I'm an idiot I didn't export any WIPs, which only leaves me with showing yall my coloured version of the final....

Not a lot to say really, since I didn't have any WIPs..... either way, I hope you like the lineart, as well as my interpretation of it!

Welp, I better go to french lessons now, but I plan on uploading more chapters during the following week and those should be a bit longer, so look forward to that and excuse this mini-chapter over here ^-^
