howdy ho, kiddos!

today I have come to bring you the faces of two pretty neglected ocs of mine, as well as the final version of feredirs armour!

i don't really know what to say, so let's just hop right into it!

yeah.... since I cosplayed as him recently, I had to go ahead and draw him and his twin again >w<
i've been neglecting the two for too long.... last time I drew them was a few years ago....

either way, i dug out some drawings of my beloved twins of terror and went ahead and gave their faces an overhaul :D
essentially i wanted to make ti look more like a slender, sneaky, yet charismatic lad, whilst ta should seem a bit sturdier, more serious, moodier and sarcastic, but also with the ability to be really pretty and handsome, when her lesbian-energy shows up.

i also decided to give them some facial tattoos, from their time in slavery and captivity, making sure that ta fully embraced the criminal-aesthetic, whilst ti still tries to look approachable and cool.

maaan.... desperately gotta draw them full- or halfbody again.... just doing these portraits to figure stuff out was nice and everything, but we're really missing that "twins of terror" energy in these, since the expressions were supposed to be as neutral as possible.

let's carry on with feredirs armour!

in good old february, I went ahead and designed my boy some outfits, for his time in the rebellion. and whilst I still very much like them, and they most certainly are still cannon.... I had to work on a new set of armour.

essentially, I had some new ideas concerning him and his genetics. since crook is the reincarnation of the god of space ilshan, i decided to give him different "forms"... similar to bosses in video games.

on the one side we have his normal self, but in moments of extreme emotion, the ancient magic within him erupts and causes him to shift into the godly form of ilshan... which happens to wear some real pretty armour.

after a long while of training and battle, he slowly learnt to control and trigger this state by will, also making use of his ability to completely modify space to his will, creating pocket dimensions, teleporting, rearranging the atoms in an object to make them dissolve into nothing... stuff like that, you know?

so after having that mental image, i decided to draw said armour, so i could maybe animate or make a small comic with some epic fighting scenes in the story :)

but then.... welll......

the vibe wasn't quite right. and my subconscious probably took some huge reference of tartaglias 3. stage right here....

in the end, i decided to dump the first concept and develop a second one from it, taking both the former design and the actual design of childes foul legacy as references, since the whole space-theme just fit too perfectly with feredir.

... anyways, after i realised that childe and feredir have that similarity, i decided to just go all out with it. i mean... in the end i obviously changed a ton of stuff up, regarding weapons, fighting style and so on, but you could take this dude as main reference.

(and yeah..... the boss is also a playable character and i just so happen to be a childe-main.... meaning he's more or less gonna be beating himself up >w<")

regarding the armour, i just relied on context, details and colours to differentiate my outfit from tartaglia, ending up with something i'm very satisfied with.

i probably will still meddle around a bit, since i'm not too happy with the amount of exposed skin he has... especially on his arms... but what you see here right now is pretty much the final design ^-^

ngl, I cannot wait to finally create a larger piece with this outfit... i'm just a sucker for pretty armour QwQ

Other than that..... not really much left to say!
