SEPTEMBER - (1886, Helen Hunt Jackson)

O golden month! How high thy gold is heaped!
The yellow birch-leaves shine like bright coins strung
On wands; the chestnut's yellow pennons tongue
To every wind its harvest challenge. Steeped
In yellow, still lie fields where wheat was reaped;
And yellow still the corn sheaves, stacked among
The yellow gourds, which from the earth have wrung
Her utmost gold. To highest boughs have leaped
The purple grape,--last thing to ripen, late
By very reason of its precious cost.
O Heart, remember, vintages are lost
If grapes do not for freezing night-dews wait.
Think, while thou sunnest thyself in Joy's estate,
Mayhap thou canst not ripen without frost!

Dang.... this is kinda crazy....

September already??? 3 more months to go after this, and 2021 is over.... as is this artbook... ngl I kinda got more attached to Jade than any of the ones before, so let's hope that "moss" (the one for next year) will be as precious :D

but enough talking about ends of stuff.

it's september! meaning, that there will be a lot of artfight stuff at the beginning, and a lot of nothing, since school will start again, meaning my time for drawing will be quite limited T-T

i am indeed experimenting with things though, so whilst the quantity may go down, the quality maybe should go up... who knows...

Anyways, I hope you enjoy the month to come and the art I make in it ^-^
