This story takes place 5 years after my other book, Muted Voices, which follows the MHA storyline. It is important to note that Muted Voices ends at the conclusion of Season 6 of the anime. I decided to resolve the conflict fully at that point because I had no desire to draw out the story like the manga/anime had done.

Similarly, because I wanted to make my story unique, there were a bunch of plot points affecting the characters that never happened in canon. You do not have to read Muted Voices to understand this book at all, this is just a warning that some characters may be portrayed differently than one would expect from canon events.

This exists purely as a cute cameo for those of my readers who have read Muted Voices, not as any integral part of this fanfiction.

As far as I'm concerned, the past few years have been "happily ever after" for all the characters who survived Season 6 of MHA.

TL;DR: character development is different from canon, new plot was added, and any event after Season 6 did not happen in this universe.
