He Loves You

Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
— 1 John 4:7-8

We throw the word "love" around so much that it has become meaningless. We "love" that new restaurant. We "love" that movie. We "love" pizza. We "love" our friend’s. We say it so much that it doesn’t seem to mean as much when we say it to each other, or to God. We must remind ourselves of what love truly is: God. God is love. Everything about Him is love. It not the love of the latest fad, or the yummiest dessert. Through His love, we are compelled to love others. It is the deep abiding love of a God who created us and who gave His only Son for us, so that we might not perish.

Right now you may be in the verge of thinking that no one loves you because that's what the world has taught you. When there are no people who listen to you. You treat it as if they don't love you anymore, like it is not the same as before. But, folks, remember that the world may give up and turn their back at you, yet Jesus won't. He won't leave or forsake you. He will stay in every season of your life, whether it is bad or good. God will stay with you.
