At the same time, Jack walked into the hangout and found Cinder Fall talking over her plans with Roman Torchwick and his partner, Neo. As he went upstairs...he bumped into Mercury and Emerald, Cinder's helpers.

"Hey Jack..Did you finally find your mate?" Emerald said.

"Yes. Now all I have to do is capture him and take him back to the Grimm Lands." Jack Said. 

"Great. Just another thing to add to our plans." Mercury Said before Emerald hit him in the back of his head.

"Mercury..This is serious. Jack finally found a mate and now we need to capture him." Emerald said.

"Fine. So tell me...Who is this mate of yours anyway?" Mercury asked.

"Jaune Arc." Jack Said.

"Wait..The leader of the team JNPR? And is close to that silver eyed huntress." Emerald said.

"That's the one." Jack Said.

"Hm...this may further Cinder's plans." Emerald said before she noticed that Roman had left and that the meeting is over.

"Cinder...Jack managed to find his mate." Emerald said.

"Excellent. Mistress will be so pleased to hear that. So who is it?" Cinder Said.

"Jaune Arc." Mercury Said.

"That boy who's close to that silver eyed girl huh? That gives us an opportunity to sneak in and steal the rest of the Fall maidens power. Plus we already know who Ozpin will give it to." Cinder Said.

"So we're hitting two birds with one stone. Nice." Mercury Said.

"Exactly. Now Jack...I'll inform your mother of this development and will start thinking of another plan to get the rest of the power and your mate." Cinder Said.

"That's fine. Now if you excuse me..I'm going to bed." Jack Said as he climbed up the stairs to his room. As he started to sleep, he started to think of all of the fun  that he will have his mate. 

BEACON

In the morning, Jaune joined his friends on one of the tables for breakfast. He was glad that they didn't abandon him when he told them of his transcripts. And that Cardin finally left him alone after he saved his life from that Ursa Major.

"So Jaune..I heard you made another friend." Yang Said.

"Yeah. His name is Jack Bryn." Jaune Said.

"Cool name. Got any pictures of him?" Yang asked.

"Yang. This is not the time or the place for you to search for another partner for your nightly activities." Weiss Said. 

"I was just asking. So do you?" Yang asked.

"Unfortunately. I didn't have time for pictures. But I did exchange numbers with him." Jaune Said.

"That's great. Hopefully I'll make more friends soon." Ruby Said.

"Of course you will Rubes. Besides who can resist your charm." Yang Said.

"Yang." Ruby Said. 

"As nice as it is to gossip...We only have ten minutes to get to class." Blake said.

"Well..it was nice while it lasted." Yang Said.

"Yep. Hopefully everything will be smooth sailing from this point forward." Pyrrha Said.

Unaware that things aren't going to go so smooth after all.
