The Droid

It was a small droid, but adorable nonetheless. It was a green droid with a cube head and a spherical body, similar to BB-8. It was sooooooooo cute! "Can I keep it?" I asked. I couldn't even think about my words. It was the best thing I had ever seen. "I made this one out of scrap parts, it has nothing to do with school!" I smiled wider than I ever have. I just hopped on my board and zipped home, not bothering to let Rey or CJ catch up. I just needed to speed through the city. As I went, I saw shops and houses, and everything, flying by at fast speeds. I made it home and I put away my board, and rushed to my room. It wasn't big, sure, but it was the best place in the house nonetheless. Speaking of, I need to fix that ladder. I walked to my desk, being a short three feet from the entrance. I quickly opened the drawer and pulled out all the necessary tools to fix it. Before I went to actually fix though, I turned around and grabbed my long-sleeved, gray shirt off the clothes shelf  and exchanged it for my white shirt and jacket. Then I reworked a few wires that I had messed up and closed the panel that had been open. I clicked the button and the platform began to move. Finally, I fixed it. I shut it off and walked into the main room. I turned on my hologram to watch the news. It said that the Order was attacking a planet today. That was it really, more things about prices for ships and things about economics. Ten minutes later, something walked in loudly. They didn't call hello or signal me in any way. Something was seriously wrong. Was this the First Order? I almost gasped. I ran to my room and grabbed all my gear, my laser pistol, my lightsaber, and my helmet. I sensed no presence so I walked into the main room slowly and inside was just the droid. Okay, so that is why it was weird. I smiled at it and it made a series of beeping sounds back at me. Distressed ones. This was a warning.
