Duncan will always pulled the big double decker express. He was proud of being the only engine strong enough to do so. It was full of important people like Princess Snow White and Duncan was seeing how fast he can go.

"Hurry noo, th' green mile express in double decker pure class waits fur na yin!" He said.

"Trickety-trock, trickety-trock, tricktey-trock!" Said the double decker coaches. In a minute, Duncan would see the tunnel where Nikki stood bricked up and lonely.

"Oh dear. Why did I worry about rain spoiling my lovely coat of paint? I'd wish to come out of the tunnel if I am not being so stubborn and scared, will Sugar Belle forgive me?" But Nikki didn't know how to ask.

"Watch this girls, a'm aff tae whistle at Nikki." He was almost there when... there came a clang and a wheesh! "Yikes!" Cried Sugar Belle. "Whoa!" Yelled Abby Park. And there was proud Duncan going slower and slower in a cloud of steam. Abby stopped the train.

"Blaw me bagpipes, whit haes happen tae me, Abby?" Asked Duncan. "A'm feelin' terribly wabbit."

"You burst you safety valve with somewhat too much boiler pressure." Said Abby Park "You can't pull the train anymore."

"Och dear." Said Duncan. "We wur gaun sae nicely tae. 'n' keek, thir's Nikki laughing at me."

Everyone came to see Duncan.

"Oh, goodness me." Groaned Princess Snow White.

"These big engines are always causing me nothing but trouble. Can you please send for another engine or two at once?"

While the conductor went to find one, they uncoupled Duncan who had enough puff to slink on the siding out of the way. Sean and Aurora were the only engines left. "We will come and try." "Ookyoo!"

"Hmph." Said Duncan. "That's na uise. Sean 'n' Aurora cannae push th' train."

The kind Sean and sweet Aurora puffed and pushed and pushed and puffed, but they couldn't move the heavy coaches. Even Cecilia and Alejandra were surprised by this. "Ay Caramba, we don't think Sean and Aurora will be strong enough to push those double-decker coaches." Cecilia sighed.

"Ah tellt ye sae." Said Duncan. "How come nae let Nikki huv a go?"

"Wonderful idea, Duncan. I will." Said Princess Snow White.

"Will you help pull this train, Nikki?" Asked Princess Snow White.

"Oh yes please, your royal highness. And Sugar Belle, I am really sorry for being such a scaredy stubborn rude engine, can you forgive?" Said Nikki in a tearful apology.

"It is okay Nikki, I forgive you for your terrible scared and stubborn attitude." Sugar Belle said as she hugged her face.

When Sugar Belle had Nikki got up steam, she puffed out. She was dirty and covered with cobwebs. "Ooh, I'm stiff, I'm really stiff." She groaned.

"Have a run to ease your joints and find a turntable." Said Princess Snow White.

When Nikki came back, she felt much better. Then Sugar Belle coupled her up with her magic. Sugar Belle asked Abby if she can be Nikki's firewoman which she happily accepts her proposal.

"Peep peep." Said Sean and Aurora. "We're ready, Nikki!"

"Pip pip pip." Said Nikki happily. "So am I, Sean and Aurora."

"Pull hard, we'll do it! Pull hard, we'll do it!" They puffed together.

"Okay, steady now, my baby." Cooed Sugar Belle.

"Well, let us get this show back on the rails, amigos!" Said Alejandra and Cecelia.

"We've done it together! We've done it together!" Said Sean, Aurora, and Nikki.

"Way to go, Nikki!" Cheered Abby. "Way to go, my baby!" Praised Sugar Belle.

"You've done it hurray! You've done it hurray!" Sang the double-decker coaches. Everyone was excited. Princess Snow White leaned out on the window to wave at Sean, Aurora, and Nikki. But the train was going so fast, that her purple boater-style hat with red ribbon blew off into a field where a Sinoceratops ate it for tea if he/she can. They never stopped til they came to the station at the end of the line. The passengers all said thank you, and Princess Snow White promised Nikki a new coat of paint. One their way home, Sean, Aurora, and Nikki helped Duncan back to the shed. All four engines are now great friends. Nikki doesn't mind the rain now. She knows that the best way to keep her paint nicely is not to run into tunnels, but to ask Sugar Belle to rub her down when the day's work was over.
