ITS TAKING ME A WHILE TO WRITE CAUSE I BROKE MY HAND LOLZ SORRY

KAPPA

If I didn't know any better, I would've thought she was an angel. Her normal outfit had been traded for a small white dress, and her boots were replaced with sandals. Her long blue hair is being held back by her shoulders, and her tattoos have more color to them, as if they were just redone. The clouds on her arm almost look like they're moving.

I walk over to her, sitting on the sand even though it burns the back of my legs. She keeps staring at the water as small waves come and go. Seagulls squawk over bits of watermelon that had been left on the ground. The wind blows our hair back, but it's not hard enough to be annoying.

"This isn't what you wanted?" She asks, laying flat on the ground and closing her eyes.

"You were supposed to be with me forever," I say, watching as her hands start to go under the sand. "You said we'd meet again some day, but you didn't say it would be like this."

She starts sinking into the sand, but she doesn't try to get out of it. I try to move my arms, but it feels like someone's holding them back. I can only look at her while half of her body goes under.

"You really shouldn't dream about me," She says as the sand covers everything but her face. "You know I'll be gone before too long."

I can't speak. I can't move. I watch as she disappears under the sand, until there's no sign she was even there. Once she's gone, I can move again. I hug my knees to my chest, looking out at the ocean until I can force myself to wake up.

JINX

I had spent the past eight hours in the armory, trying to create the biggest bomb I could. My hands had small cuts and dirt covering them, but the finished product was worth it.

Ezra leads me around to the back of the Capital building, distracting some guards to give me an opportunity to slide behind them to get next to the white cube this city holds so dear. I carefully slide the bomb out of my bag and dig it into the side of the building until it can stay up on its own. I take the pin out of the side of it, walking away when the small counter that's ticking down.
