To feed his sister Yoo Mia and himself, Yoo Joong Hyuk has done a lot of odd jobs.

Being an idol wasn't even in the top ten.

Throughout his life, Yoo Joong Hyuk has been made acutely aware that his looks fit every standard of the idol industry – thanks to the constants "You should've been an idol!", "Are you an idol?", "You look just like an idol!" from everyone he has ever met.

Being aware that he is suitable for the job is one thing. But to become an idol himself is a whole other experience.

He'd been scouted right off the bat the moment he stepped out of a bus, back from daily Kumdo class with his master Namgung Minyoung. At first, he thought the casting manager was some random scam trying to trick teenaged boys into debt. Yoo Joong Hyuk still remembered slamming the man into a nearby wall and threatening to beat the living daylight out of him.

Of course it was only a threat. Yoo Joong Hyuk was going to compete in World Kendo Championship, and that meant no headlines about beating up people on the street.

"L-look, I'm serious! We're Star Stream, one of the best agencies out there! You can look it up!" Somehow, the supposed casting manager still abled to continue his persuasions under Yoo Joong Hyuk's intimidating glare.

"No thanks. I'm not interested." Said Yoo Joong Hyuk as he roughly pushed the man away and left.

It was only after Star Stream somehow got his number and gave him a call that Yoo Joong Hyuk googled the agency.

Yes, Star Stream was indeed a legit idol agency, and one of the best out there. They had made several headline artists and best-selling songs. The agency had no major dirt on them, and the minority was handled well with no lasting damage. A perfect place to start-off one's idol career.

Was Yoo Joong Hyuk actually considering the possibility? Even without an impressive academic background to back him up, Yoo Joong Hyuk still had many options availble for him when it comes to careers. He could be a professional E-sports player. He had the skills and the invitations from several famous teams. Or he could make a name for himself in the Kumdo world with the upcoming World Kendo Championship.

But somehow, all available options paled in comparison when Yoo Joong Hyuk knew the average income of an idol.

Yoo Joong Hyuk has never thought that there would be a day he considered selling his looks for money. But as mentioned above, being an idol didn't even made top ten in his list of odd jobs.

And as fate would have it, Yoo Joong Hyuk found himself on Star Stream's doorsteps.
