Sayyam:- 25 years old, has lived the first 18 years old his life in an orphanage and then struggled in the big bad world, finished his education, and got a job. One fine day someone came into his life claiming to know his parents, putting him on the path which would lead him to get to know about the truth of his existence... 

Krishna:- +28 years old, meek, and docile. Orphan yet a part of Birla's family. Adopted by Suhani after the death of her mother; Suhani's best friend. Suppressed under the wings of mother hen Suhani and being Yuvaan's sidekick had made Krishna unable to learn to fight on her own or for herself until she was forced to learn how to...  

Yuvaan:- Krishna's best friend and crush. Sayyam's stepbrother and Suhani's son. He is seen by Suhani as someone who could do no wrong because it's she who had raised him. For her, he was good and better than her other two children; Yuvaani - her daughter, who to Suhani was the product of a bad upbringing, and Sayyam - her youngest son, the devil in persona with evilness in his genes.   

Yuvaani:- Sayyam's stepsister and Yuvaan's twin. Even though she was spoiled by other Birlas, she felt abandoned by her own mother who had left her in others' care and had left her behind, only taking Yuvaan and Krishna with her. The first person who warmed up to Sayyam, they bonded over the fact that both of them were neglected by their mother who preferred Yuvaan and Krishna over them and saw both of them as corrupted souls beyond saving. 

Baby:- Has a very manipulative and cunning personality, entered into Birla's life as Sayyam's partner in crime but ended up marrying Yuvaan - Birla family's only male heir - to secure her position to live a life of wealth and luxury.

Suhani Birla:- Mother of Sayyam, Yavaan, and Yavanni, adopted Krishna after the death of her best friend. Yuvraaj's wife.

Yuvraaj Birla:- Suhani's husband, Yuvaan, and Yuvaani's father. Had been in jail for Sambahv's murder; Sayyam's father.

Sambahv:- Suhani's second husband. Sayyam's father.

Padma Birla:- Suhani's mother-in-law, the wise Dadi/grandmother of Yuvaan, Yuvaani, and Krishna...

Bhavna:- Suhani's sister. Thinks of Krishna as her daughter, Yuvaan, Yuvaan Sayyam's aunt/Bua.

Sharad:- Bhavna's husband and Yuvraaj's cousin.

Chandrakala Birla:- called 'Badi Dadi',  is Yuvraaj's grandmother, Yuvaan, and Yuvaani's grand-grandmother.

Ragni Birla:- called 'Rags', stepped into the role of Yavaani's mother after Suhani left her behind.
