Rentaro Kagura is a ninja from 2022 who can transform into Kamen Rider Shinobi. As Shinobi, he is able to use ninja skills and elemental attacks.

In 2019, Rentaro's origin in the proper main present timeline is revealed, where he was once an ordinary man who likes to protect the weak, since he has had a troubled life. He is then transformed into Another Shinobi by Heure, giving him the same abilities as his possible future self, but it negates his possible future as an actual Kamen Rider.
