Hi. So I was looking through some old fanfic I wrote ages ago and I thought imma give young me some recognition. Here's a story that was made about three or four years ago. Enjoy!

"Robin, where are you?" M'gann asked. She knew Robin was in the Mountain somewhere but no one knew where. He was acting unlike himself and nobody knew why, well that excluded the main Justice League members and Wally. Maybe even Roy but God knows where he is. "I know you're here but where is a different story," she muttered. "Hello M'gann! I can just find you by listening to your thoughts," she added, hitting herself in the forehead. She closed her eyes and linked her mind with his. "What do you want?" Robin asked, distracted. His coldness caught her off guard. "I'm worried about you. We all are. You've been avoiding us all day," she replied.

"Well don't be. I'm fine, I've just been busy," he lied. She could tell he was lying.

"Did something happen at school or something? That's if you go to school," she asked.

"Have you found Robin?" Wally asked.

"Sorta. He's talking to me but I still don't know where he is," she replied.

A vent opened and Robin dropped down with folded arms. "Happy now?"

"You okay? What were you doing up there?" Wally asked.

"This mountain doesn't look after itself you know? A couple of minor system failures, nothing I can't fix." Robin answered coldly.

"I know today is hard for you but it might be better to spend it with friends," Wally suggested. "Thanks for the offer but I'll pass. I'll see you guys when we've got a mission," Robin replied, hopping back into the vents. The speedster stood under the vents in frustration. "You can have feelings! You don't have to be stone cold like Batman!" he shouted after him.

"I'm not trying to be like him." Wally sighed and walked away in defeat.

"Robin, please don't push us away," M'gann begged in a desperate final attempt.

"I'm not. Trust me, I'm fine."

Batman entered the Mountain, a stern expression on his face as always. "You here for ventboy?" Wally asked. He was a little confused but dismissed his comment. "No? I have a mission for the team. Is Robin still avoiding you?" Batman asked. As the rest of the team joined, Wally nodded. Batman sighed. "Robin," he announced. The team looked at each other in confusion.

"You called?" Robin answered, dropping down from another vent.

"Ventboy returns from his lair of pouting," Wally commented. Artemis hit him in the shoulder, "This is the first time most of us have seen him today. Don't screw it up."

Batman went on to give them an easy mission. A simple in and out with some data. Not too hard. "Robin you have permission to stay behind if need be," Batman added.

"Like I've been saying all day, I'm fine." he snapped back. Ignoring his son's rude manner, he sent everyone off except Kaldur. Kaldur looked to Batman, wondering why he'd been kept behind. "We both know Robin isn't fine. I need you to look out for him. When he gets like this he makes stupid mistakes and I can't have him getting hurt near the busiest time of the year." Batman ordered. Aqualad nodded, "May I ask what troubles him."

"Just because I know his secrets doesn't mean they are mine to share." He nodded.

"Understood. I will try my best but we both know how hard Robin is to look after," Aqualad replied. "I've been doing that for five years, I'm sure you can handle him for a couple of hours."

On the ship, Robin was unusually quiet. "You sure you don't want to skip this one?" Kid Flash asked. He nodded and hacked into the surveillance cameras in the building. "Looks like there isn't much defense. We should be able to get into the main building easily but we should go stealth just in case," he explained.

"Agreed. We can't take any chances." Aqualad added. "Miss Martian put the shop in stealth." She nodded and the ship began to blend in against the night sky. The ship landed and they got off quickly. "Are we all linked?" Aqualad asked. She nodded. "Everybody stay close, we don't know if they have hidden defence mechanisms," Aqualad commanded.

"I'm going on ahead. I'll relay anything I see," Robin said, about to run ahead.

"No, stay with me. Miss Martian and Kid Flash go ahead. Artemis and Superboy cover them," Aqualad countered, holding Robin's shoulder. Robin waited till it was just him and Aqualad. "What the hell was that? Do you not trust me or something?" he whisper-yelled.

"You're not thinking clearly and we can't have you getting hurt," Aqualad reasoned. He shook off the Atlantian's hand and followed the others. "I don't need a babysitter. I'm thirteen, I can handle myself."

"I don't doubt your capabilities but you haven't been yourself!"

"You don't even know me! How can you tell if I'm not acting 'myself'?" he shouted.

Robin calm down, he's just trying to help." Kid Flash told him in a calm tone.

"I don't need help! I'm more than capable of looking after myself," Robin yelled angrily.  He disappeared into the forest and didn't reply to any further questions.

From the treetops, Artemis spotted a free entrance. "Robin, you there?" she asked

"Unwillingly. Spotted a way in yet?" he replied.

"Yeah. You and Miss Martian could sneak in easily," she answered.

"Are you alright with that Robin?" Miss Martian asked. "

I'm already in and downloading the f-" his voice cut out. Miss Martian saw a dark figure over Robin. Something in his hand was sparkling but before she could see anymore, the images stopped. "We need to get in there now!" she shrieked.

Upon hearing Miss Martian, Kid Flash ran into the building in search for the bird. He spotted two men, one carrying Robin, out the back exit. "I'll take that, thank you very much." he taunted, grabbing the limp boy. A hand grabbed him and threw him against the opposing wall. "Could use a little help here," he said sarcastically. The others came in promptly. Aqualad hit the men over the head but nothing happened. One turned to him with a smug grin. They pulled out a crowbar and hit him across the face with it.

Robin began to wake up and quickly sat up. "Jeez, could you hit me any harder?" he asked, rubbing the back of his head. He pulled out a small EVP disrupter and pressed the button. The men fell to the ground instantly. "Don't make 'em like they used to," he muttered.

"Robin, are you alright?" Miss Martian asked, helping him up.

"This is what I was trying to prevent in the first place! You couldn't just listen to anyone except yourself!" Aqualad exclaimed angrily. "You should've stayed, that way you wouldn't have got hurt! You could've compromised the whole mission!" Robin balled his fists up.

"I get it! I'm just such a liability to you! Well guess what? This mistake still got Batman's crappy information so screw you!" he yelled back, stomping out the building. Kid Flash caught up with him and felt kind of sorry for him. Today had been the anniversary of his parents death. He'd held up surprisingly well during the day. "Are you okay? It got a little heated up back there," he asked awkwardly. Robin stopped walking and sighed. "Not particularly but I'll be better when I go to their graves tonight. Are you coming this time?" he asked.

"Of course dude. And don't pay attention to Aqualad, everyone makes mistakes. He was worried that's all." Robin smiled at him.

"I was an idiot though," he replied through a laugh.

"You're always an idiot," Kid Flash teased. Robin lightly punched him,

"Says the one."

The others walked back to the ship, trailing behind the happy pair. "You didn't have to be so hard on him. We all make mistakes," Artemis told Aqualad.

"I regret my reaction but he should've known to be careful," he defended. "He's still a child," Superboy muttered. "A child that has been trained by Batman and various League members plus he's been doing the job since he was nine." Aqualad replied. Artemis rolled her eyes and squeezed his shoulder tightly. "Something has obviously been bothering him enough to make this mistake. You'll only make him feel worse if you don't acknowledge he's still only thirteen." she told him sternly. "You're right," he admitted giving in.

"Good." She smiled and released his shoulder.

"Maybe we can do something to cheer him up?" Miss Martian suggested.

"I think Kid Mouth has that covered," Artemis pointed out. They turned their attention to the pair in front of them. Robin was hand-standing on Kid Flash's head and laughing as the teen tried to get him off.
