Anaisha

The days are tiring as we have to balance between work and wedding preparations. The hunt for the perfect wedding location is going on in full swing. Today also we went to check out a few places. I took a half day from college and now I am getting ready to go to my friend's wedding initially bhaiya and bhabhi were going to accompany me but bhabhi fell ill so bhaiya asked me to take Vyan along.

I got ready in a heavy anarkali suit after all they are my favorite. He came to pick me up and I am loving this princess treatment. 

You look beautiful Ish. Kahi ladke flat na hojaye tum par fir mera kya hoga? (What if all the boys go mad over you? Then what will happen to me?

We both reached the wedding venue and it was dark by now. As soon as we entered the main hall the god wanted me to dance i guess but I quit dancing 3 years ago and now my favorite song? What is this behaviour God? Why do you want my past to fold over once again? I was in my deep thoughts when I heard my another friend's voice.

She took me to dance floor, I really wanted to dance so bad but somehow I controlled my legs and ran from there bumping into my would be husband.

What happened Ish?

Nothing Vyan, they were forcing me to dance. I don't like to.

Really? You don't know how to dance?

I know but I don't like.

Our conversation was interrupted by my friends grand entry. She was looking like a princess. I waved at her and she returned me a smile. Even the groom was looking handsome. They performed Varmala ritual and we went up the stage to meet them.

I hugged her and congratulated her.

When I was coming down the stage, I saw a man in black tracksuit with a mask. His eyes were fixed on us. Is it him? No no not today. Please god protect me. As soon as I ran towards him, he was gone by that time. Vyan came behind me. I was scared to say anything to him.

Vyan, come let's eat something

We went to the outer garden attached to the hall where all the snacks were arranged. We both shared some food and conversations. 

IT IS HIM! OH MY FUCKING GOD IT IS HIM.

All those memories flashed before me when I saw his face. He was coming towards when I held Vyan's bicep tightly and faced my back towards that guy.

What happened Ish?

Nothing Vyan. I am just not feeling well. Let's go home

You wait here. I will be back in 2 minutes.

He went to the loo and I was more scared now. My phone pinged with a message from unknown number.

"How's my Anaisha? Look I am back. If you want Divyansh Mehrotra to be safe. Come out right now."

No no nothing can happen to him, to my Vyan. I ran out of the the wedding hall on the main road. I saw him standing on the opposite end of the road. I ran on the road without caring about myself and BOOM!

As soon as I came back, I saw her running towards the exit. What is this girl? Why is she running everywhere today? I ran behind her. She ran towards the traffic when a car hits her. Oh my God. I got so scared. People begin to gather around and I went towards her. 

She was in a brutal condition, I carried her in my arms and ran to the car. I placed her on the back seat and drove to the nearest hospital.

There were bruises on her forehead and arms. The doctors went in with her. I was just praying the god to keep her safe. I called both families and soon they were here.

How it happened beta? her mom asked.

Aunty, I went to use the washroom, when I came back she was running without her senses. I went behind her and till then she was hit by a car.

Maa, what if it was him? said her brother.

Who he? I thought. What are they hiding from me? What is she hiding? My chain of thoughts was broken upon doctors arrival.

Miss Chauhan is fine, She is weak as a lot of blood was lost. We need to keep her under observation for next 24 hours. Now she is sleeping you all also go home, said the doctor.

Uncle, Aunty I really want to stay back and take care of her. Please allow me

Divyansh beta, I will also stay. You might not be able to handle her if she wakes up in the middle of the night. Please don't take me wrong. Said her mom

No no Aunty, not at all.

Everyone left leaving me and aunty at the hospital. I changed in my lounge wear which Maa got for me while coming here.

Aunty went to rest in the restroom for patients family. I went in Anaisha's room saw her sleeping figure. I sat beside her and caressed her head.

I wonder what it is that is bothering my Ish. I never ever want you to be in any sort of problems. You are mine now and I will make sure there is no one who can hurt you. I don't what else I have to do so that you can trust me and share about this issue. I said aloud and tears begin to flow from my eyes.

I never cry but I don't know what happened to me today. I held her hands and stayed in that position until sleep consumed me.

I woke up when I felt my hands entangled in other hands. I sensed my surroundings, I was in a hospital, there was a dim lamp lighting the dark room. I noticed Vyan sleeping, I tried to get up when a sharp pain hit my head.

Ahhh! I groaned in pain causing Vyan to wake up.

What happened Ish? Are you alright? Is it paining? Should I call the doctor?

Shhh Shhh Vyan. Calm down, I am alright. It is just a little bit of pain in the head, this bandage is also very tight and my hair are being pulled due to this.

Vyan helped me sit straight and begin to massage my head and then he went towards the neck. I didn't even realize when he pushed my hair aside.

What is this Ish? He touched my neck.

It is nothing. 

I tried to cover my neck with my hair. He came in front of me and sat on the bed.

Ish, You are going to be my wife and I wish to know everything about you and I want you to know everything about me. I am neither forcing you nor putting any kind of pressure on you. You take your time.

He begin to leave when I stopped calling his name.
