I reached home on time. She was not here yet. I took a quick shower and got dressed in casual clothes which is a rare sight to watch as I am always in formals. My Mother is so excited about my wedding you can say more than me.

I was sitting in the drawing room with Dad and Chachu when Piya came back from college.

Maa was super hyper today, she was so excited about everything. She wants each and everything to be perfect as her daughter-in-law is coming for the first time.

I got a call from office and I went to back garden. After hanging up the call, I called Ish.

I reached their house directly from my work but my family was not here yet. I was little skeptical if I should go alone or wait for them. In between my thoughts my phone rings. It is Vyan

I waited for a few minutes when he came out. He was looking so hot in that t shirt, his biceps were popping out. He gave me his hand to hold and we went inside. His Mom came running from the kitchen as soon as she saw us.

Then I got a call from my college bestie after 2 years. I picked it up 

HE IS OUT OF THE JAIL

And I was frozen upon hearing those words. All the memories of 3 years ago flashed before my eyes. Phone dropped from my hand and I was just standing there as a lifeless body.

Ish? Ish what happened?

And everything blacked out.

She was on a call and I was just looking at her. Suddenly her face became white and she dropped the phone and she fainted.

I quickly picked her up and laid her on the bed. I called mom and everyone came upstairs. Her was also there by now.

What happened to my daughter? asked her mom in a panic

Aunty, she was on a call and suddenly she fainted.

Where is her phone? asked bhaiya.

It was still lying in the closet so I brought the phone and handed it to him. He checked her call logs and have a shocked expression. I wonder what has happened?

Can you please give our family a little private space? Bhaiya asked politely

I opened my eyes to find my family there and I broke down into tears. Maa hugged me and tried to calm me down.

Bhaiya, He is back I said in a shaking voice.

Shh.. Shhh Anu. He will not be able to do anything. You stop crying.

We are at your in-laws Anu, What will we answer when they will question us? Stop crying beta. We will go home and talk about this matter okay? Now stop crying and have some water. said maa

I drank water in shaky hands and wiped my tears. I went to the washroom and washed my face with cold water. When I came out, his whole family was there. He was standing with a tensed face.

What happened to you ish? Are you all right?

Yes Vyan. I am alright, It's just i didn't had anything since morning.

I felt guilty of lying to him but it is just not the right time to tell him anything.

We all went downstairs and his family pampered me with a lot of dishes, My soon to be mother-in-law fed me with her own hands. I was so overwhelmed with all the love but I felt a stab in my heart for lying to them.

After some time, panditji arrived and he proposed some dates. The wedding date was finalized after 4 months.  Everyone agreed for the date and even I have enough time to tell him the truth.

We all left his home.

Maa, am I doing the right thing? I shouldn't have agreed for the marriage.

Anu beta, don't say like this. Just because of the past you can not think like that. You deserve happiness and Divyansh he is such a good guy. Didn't you see today? How much he cares for you?

But maa, I think I should tell him about my past.

It is your decision beta, if you think it is the right thing to do then go for it. 

But what if he refuses to get married?

As far as I know him, he will understand you. But we can't say about anybody else's reaction. You take your time, find the right moment and then tell. If it is God's wish to get you both married then nothing can stop this wedding.

Maa, left the room and went to my cupboard and looked for that brown hoodie. I wore it and slept after much difficulty.

I think she is hiding something. But what can I do? I can't force her to tell me. My mom was also worried about her. Everyone thinks they are hiding something from us. I made them understand it must be there personal thing. But I can't stop thinking about her condition. She looked so stressed and a sense of fear was there on her face. I hope she tells me about it but even if she doesn't nothing is gonna change I guess.
