Origin - He was a foster kid, bouncing house to house, he was beaten and broken. When he was 14 we was taken in by a lady and her husband, they were incredibly kind to him. The husband was a police chief, and the wife a stay home wife. They took care of him like their own child. They put back together the broken child and made him whole again. He was 17 and driving with his mom, a driver speed out of nowhere and hit them. His mom almost died and he was fine. A few days later he went to sleep and woke up in completely silence. He screamed and screamed, his dad ran into the room, but everything was silent. He had a seizure in his sleep from unnoticed brain damage and woke up completely deaf. He then distanced himself from everyone, he lost all his friends and the girl he liked. His mom came home and they moved soon after as they wanted to get Roland a fresh start. He was sent to a school with sign language classes but refused to learn. He also refused to wear hearing aids. He grew more alone and soon became severally depressed. He took up drugs to cope with everything, now he does drugs daily. He is addicted and feels like he isn't worth help. His parents try put he ultimately pushes them away.
