"Answer me you coward. Why are you turning your back to me now that I am the one telling my feelings here? Come back Mr.Raizada and relieve me of my torment at least for once."

Akash and Payal looked at each other as they heard Khushi's shouts followed by her sobs coming from the room next to theirs where Khushi was staying now a days and it made them both sprang out of their bed and when they opened the door of their room they saw Arnav storming off just then. Rushing to their adjacent room they saw Anjali hugging a sobbing Khushi in her arms.

"What did he do now Di? Tell me?" Akash's voice had an edge to it.

"The problem is that this time he didn't do anything. She needed him and he turned her down." Anjali whispered helping Khushi to the bed whilst Payal sat besides her combing through her hairs.

Khushi was shivering with the onslaught of emotions. Leaning her by her side Payal rubbed her arm to soothe the tremors and bring her breathing back to normal feeling her own heart welling up.

"Why don't he understand that I need him more than ever now?" Khushi croaked clutching to her sister. It made Akash and Anjali swallow hard.

"Don't be this hard on yourself Khushi. You don't deserve it." Payal said kissing her head.

"Why don't he understand that I don't deserve any of this either? Make him understand jiji. Please make him understand." She buried her head in her chest before splinting into sobs all over again.

Payal couldn't hold back the tears anymore while Akash blinked back the moisture rapidly seeping into his eyes.

A bleary eyed Anjali grabbed Akash's elbow as he turned to leave angrily and to where she knew that too.

Shaking her head at him she pleaded with her eyes for him to calm down but this time he didn't listen. Shrugging her hand he stormed out followed by a petrified Anjali while Payal felt her heart dropping as she saw her husband leaving angrily with the fire of anger emanating from him.

No one can hinder the face off between the brothers now!

No one!

Or is there someone?

Because the moment Akash barged in Arnav's room he found it empty. Before he could walk out to search for him they heard his car engine roaring before his SUV zoomed off.

Anjali sighed in relief as yet again a drastic fight between the brothers was prevented.

But the question was.

Till when?

AR

Falling back on his seat he curled his hands into fists feeling like exploding and breaking and burning everything in this world.

Garima Gupta didn't know what she has done by revealing another truth to him about Payal being his step-sister.

He was the master at thinking things from his own perspective and come to conclusions of his own. This time too he did exactly the same. Hatred grew more and this time along with Garima he felt contempt for Payal too.

His father had an illegitimate child too out of an affair?

He would never believe in that woman's saying that she was married. No way. If Payal was Arvind Malik's daughter then how does it justify or prove that she was married to his father? Rubbish!

Maybe she wasn't aware of ASR's shrewd mind and thought that she could fool him. Hell she could not. Period.

With that instead of dampening his hate it all just strengthened within him. The feeling of loathing for Garima Gupta and now her daughter Payal grew manifolds and just one thought resided in his mind then.

To make her pay. Garima Gupta pay. And for that he knew what he had to do.

Anjali met Payal halfway in the corridor.

"Khushi ji?" Anjali asked.

"She slept while crying." Payal said silently. Anjali sighed rubbing her temples.

"Di. Akash?" Payal asked worriedly.

"He is angry but thank god Chote wasn't home when he went to quarrel with him. It almost gave me a heart attack."Anjali exhaled while Payal sighed in relief.

"I am going to stay with Khushi ji. Meanwhile you can handle your husband Payal ji."

Payal nodded and both went inside the two adjacent rooms respectively.

"Akash?"

He stood there close to the cupboard with his back to her with his glasses grasped tightly in his palm. Any more pressure and they would crack cutting him too.

Walking to him she silently pried his hands off it and turning him to her made him wear it before cupping the side of his cheek. His lips trembled as he pressed her hands more closer.

"I-I don't know what to do anymore Payal. I seriously don't know. Neither can I see Khushi like this nor can I do something about it. I am helpless. Now that I know how much she needs.. needs.. him!" The words burst out of him.

"How can he do this to his.. his own wife? To the love of his life?" He cried out.

He cupped her cheeks firmly while Payal blinked back the tears.

"I can never ever imagine doing something like that to you. Not even in my wildest dreams."

"It isn't easy for him either jiju." Khushi spoke standing at their door behind whom Anjali was standing.

"You are taking his side now?" Akash said angrily."After all that he did?"

Not only him Anjali and Payal were shocked too.

"I am not taking sides Jiju. I am just stating the facts. You can't even imagine being in his shoes you said. It give you shudders then have you ever given it a thought what it must be doing to him who was the reason of not having any normal relation with the woman he loves and can't imagine being parted with?"

Akash and Anjali were too shocked to respond while Payal stared at her sister bewildered and angry.

"You can't forgive him now that you have grown emotional having a life growing inside you!" Payal whisper yelled to Khushi grabbing the hold of her shoulders.

"Tell me you didn't Khushi." She shook him.

"I didn't. And I don't think I would ever. Don't worry there. I do have a thing named self-respect still intact within me. I won't crush it for anyone. Not even for him."

"Then why? Why did you say all that Khushi?"

"Because I-I k-know him jiji. I know him. I have seen his good and worst side more than anyone had ever had. I-I just know him." She croaked.

Confused with her behavior the trio just stared at her making her uncomfortable.

"I-I just went to his room but he wasn't there jiju. Do you know where is he?" She asked swallowing.

Akash curled his hands into a fist before reaching her in long strides.

"You won't go in front of him alone. One of us would accompany whenever you had to talk to him. It's the least I can do for you knowing that I can't do anything else." He said softly cupping the side of her cheek.

"Thanks for your concern jiju but I think I would be fine. There is nothing else left in me to be.. destroyed anyways." She choked causing their hearts to crack.

"Besides I don't want you both to fight over me. Please don't." She requested with misty eyes.

"Khushi.."

"Please Jiju. You do know he won't sit back and see you making attempts to keep me from him. He would fight back and me and you both knows how that would end. With nothing good. Neither for you nor him.. or even for myself and my baby for that matter."

Akash clenched his jaws not really convinced but had to agree when she said.

"Am I expecting too much from you jiju?" A tear rolled down her cheek.

"Yes." He nodded. "A little bit." He croaked. "Okay then. But I won't promise anything. I will restraint myself as much as I could."

"That's enough for me. Because you are Akash Singh Raizada. An epitome of patience already and you putting even little bit of efforts would get us great results. Thank you." She whispered teary eyed.

Akash nodded. Too emotional to speak. Payal and Anjali heaved a sigh of relief as Khushi handled the big destruction if Arnav and Akash would've come against each other.

"Now will you tell me where is he?" Khushi repeated her earlier question.

Akash and Anjali shared a furtive glance. Khushi frowned.

"What is it Khushi?" Payal asked worriedly. "Are you alright? There isn't a need for a doctor or is it?"

"No. I am fine jiji. I just need to have a word with him."

"He is in AR. Aman told me upon my call." He deliberately skipped the part where Aman also informed him that Garima Gupta paid ASR a visit. At the end of which he has left the office angrily. Upon Anjali's suggestion he has called Payal's mother and Garima didn't hold back anything whilst telling him all about the serious truth revealing conversation she had with Arnav before leaving his office hoping he would believe her.

Now only time will tell and any news from him because he has left AR hours back and he hasn't returned home still.

"Jiju?" Khushi waved her hand in front of him bringing him out of his reverie.

"Hmm?"

"Take me to him."

"Actually he was there. Not anymore." Akash told her half the truth this time not telling her about her mother's visit to Arnav still.

"Then where is he? Call him." She demanded before shaking her head and turning to Anjali.

"Di, will you call him? He won't pick up Jiju's calls."

Anjali nodded and dialed him but found his number switched off.

"His number is switched off." Anjali murmured scared turning her head to Akash worriedly. They both knew what the other two didn't.

He took out his cell and dialed his number this time himself with worry lines marring his forehead.

"What's wrong Di.. Jijaji?" Khushi asked feeling worried herself. Payal asked her husband through her eyes but he avoided her gaze.

"I'll call Aman and let you know when he will be back. Until then go to your room and rest. Don't worry." Akash informed Khushi softly and headed out with his phone held to his ear.

Khushi turned to Anjali and Payal for answers.

"What's going on? Why I have a feeling that there is something I am not aware of Di.. Jiji? Tell me?"

Payal has already caught the look on her husband's face when he left. She knew what that meant. Something has happened.

So she saved Anjali from answering by taking the matters in her hand.

"He must be out for some meeting or something Khushi. Don't you know how his mind works? Attitude and ego stays on the tip of his nose all the time." Payal said and engrossing her in the talks took her back to her room.

After a few minutes she successfully diverted Khushi's attention from Arnav to her baby for that day till night.

But till when?

Because Arnav Singh Raizada didn't return home that day nor the next one and neither the next whole week sending Khushi into depression so profound that everyone saw her withering away before their very eyes but still not a single word left her mouth. She ate well for her baby but she couldn't fully control her mind from wandering to him. And it complicated things more.

Nani was simply told that Arnav was gone out of town for some work. Hiding Arnav's disappearance from her wasn't that hard because she was asked to have complete bed rest and she hardly left her room. Khushi would go and meet her normally everyday so her suspecting anything was out of question.

The tension around RM thickened as Akash along with Aman were busy searching for Arnav. He wasn't in his penthouse. He wasn't in his mansion where he and Khushi stayed for a while. Neither he was in his farmhouse nor anywhere else. It was like he has vanished from the face of this earth.

News of Arnav's disappearance and Khushi's condition due to it reached the Guptas too and it sent Garima into an agonizing guilt trip as she knew it was because of the truth revealtion from her. Either he wasn't coming to home because he believed her and was guilty or he wasn't coming home because he didn't. The chances of latter scenario were more. That was enough to detoriorate her health worrying sick for her pregnant daughter. A day later she was rushed to the hospital for angina attack that sent Guptas into more mess.

Garima's condition was kept from Khushi who was already going through conflicting days and nights. Akash and Payal felt retched seeing their families lives turning into darkest pit of hell just because of absence of one person.

Arnav Singh Raizada!

"Mrs.Raizada I told you to be careful. Didn't I? Why are you not understanding it? Your stress and tensions are complicating your pregnancy and eventually your health. If things went more wrong then I am warning you.You can lose your life along with your child."

Someone gasped from the door.

Startled Khushi looked up at the door and found Anjali standing there with the glass of milk in her hands which was shaking along with her hands.

They had to call the doctor every other day to check on Khushi because she was having vomiting episodes more often than normal.

"Di.." Khushi rasped out.

Doctor left after prescribing her necessary medicines and supplements.

Placing the glass on the bedside table Anjali threw her arms around her.

"Please don't do this Khushi ji. Please don't." Anjali cried. Pleaded to her hugging her tightly.

Khushi blinked back the tears hugging her back.

"There is no news of Chote still. I have lost him. Don't make me lose you and my little nephew or niece too. Please gather yourself like you always have. I know I am being selfish but you are as much important for me, for everyone like Chote is. Please?" Anjali requested. There was no news of Shyam either. He didn't pick up her call nor did he reply to any of her several messages full of her pleads to him to help her find Chote. But no. She didn't tell it to anyone as she didn't want to add into their worries.

"He couldn't stay even a minute without me Di. Humein dekhe bina.. humein sataye bina unka din nahi guzarta tha. Unhain chain nahi milta tha. Ab toh do hafte ho gaye Di. Do hafte(He couldn't stay even a minute without me Di. His days won't end without seeing me, troubling me. He didn't find peace without torturing me. Now it has been two week Di. Two weeks.)" She emphasized on the last words in a choke causing Anjali's heart to shatter.

"Kaise rahe wo itne din hamare bina? Kaise? Humein janana hai. Humein sach mai janana hai.(How did he stay without me for days? How? I have to know. I really want to know!)" She whimpered.

"He said he isn't strong enough to ever leave me then how can he just.. go and disappear?" She sniffled clutching to her. Anjali burst out crying along with her failing to offer her comforting words.

Akash and Payal entered right then and gloom surrounded them hanging in the atmosphere. In this room it haunts much more. It pricks. It erupts goosebumps. The pain just penetrate and pinch their hearts more around Khushi. Such was the sadness emanating from her.

Upon seeing Akash, Khushi almost jumped out of the bed causing the trio to shout.

"CAREFUL."

She gave them an assuring look before approaching him.

"Kuch pata chala jiju?(Did you find something?)" She asked desperately, facing him with tears stuck to her eyelashes. But still hope shone in her eyes.

He nodded in a no dejected. Her shoulders slumped.

"Please jiju. Kuch toh pata chala ho ga? Btaiye humein?(You must have gotten a little bit clue? Tell me?)" Khushi asked frantically with tears rolling down unchecked. It only made Anjali feel more heavy.

"Khushi sambhal khud ko!(Control yourself Khushi)" Payal murmured softly touching her shoulder.

"Nahi ho raha humse jiji(I can't do this anymore Jiji)" She burst out."Nahi hota ab humse!(I couldn't)" She broke down.

She turned back to Akash and gripped his arm.

"Jiju please?" She croaked gripping his other arm too in a fist.

Akash exhaled sharply. Payal sobbed and so did Anjali hearing what Khushi said next.

"Please unhe bolo k wo wapis aa jayen. Humein satana hai satayen. Humein takleef ponchani hai ponchayen. Par bas wapis aa jayen jijaji. Unhe bolo k wo ab toh wapis aa jayen (Please ask him to come back. If he want to trouble me he can. If he want to give me pain, he can do that as well. But ask him to come back jijaji. Tell him to come back at least now)" She let her head fall on his arm with a painful whimper causing the trio to bite back the sobs.

"And here I granted you, your wish!" Came a familiar voice from the door.

Anjali and Payal gasped whilst Khushi whirled around startled yet relieved to see him back.

"What happened Mrs.Raizada? Missing me already?" He asked in a slurred voice. They all realized in what condition he was in.

"But wasn't it you who told me to leave you alone? When I am with you you push me away and when I am gone, you cry for me. What exactly do you want from me?" He swayed on his steps with his bloodshot eyes before steadying himself getting the hold of the door. Khushi rushed to him and supported his frame on her while the other three heaved a sigh of relief seeing him back.

He wrapped his arms around her looking into her eyes intensely making her feel nostalgic. Light stubble graced his face giving him a more hard look. His eyes seemed disoriented yet they focused entirely on her even in that state.

These chocolate brown pools were back. The intensity in them was back. He was back.

"Where were you?" She asked hoarsely.

He blinked his drooping eyes at her tightening his hold around her before shaking his head as if to ward off the fog from his mind.

"I have realized I told you that you can leave me whenever I gave you a chance to. For a change I gave myself a chance to be away and--" He left her to spread his arms wide. "Not just for one day or two I have survived whole two weeks, 3 hours and exact 5 minutes without you." He staggered back as he finished causing them to shriek but Khushi held him back to support him.

"You are drunk!" She accused.

He scoffed looking down at her.

"Why? Am I banned of getting drunk from anything else but you? But what the hell I wanted to feel normal for a while Mrs. Raizada." He murmured close to her face. She rasped.

"I wanted to feel how it feels to be drunk by just alcohol not by just one certain human being all the time who has come into my life only to suck off anything named peace out of my life and.. mind...and heart." His eyes filled up at the end causing every eyes to tear up too.

"You know what I found out days back?" He entered inside the room casually.

Akash and Anjali held their breaths while Gupta sisters looked confused.

What?

"That my father not only had an illegitimate affair but also a child out of it."

Khushi gasped while the other three couldn't draw in breaths.

"Do you know who that child now a grown up person is?" He gritted turning to Khushi after giving Payal a pointed look.

Her heart dropped seeing her husband's eyes glued to her sister. She didn't ask him who as a certain thought struck her.

No. No. It can't be.

Payal rubbed her throat feeling too parched.

"YOUR VERY OWN SISTER HUH MRS.RAIZADA. PAYAL SINGH RAIZADA."

Khushi swayed in her steps. Akash held her. Khushi felt her insides churn with such a bitter reality, truth.

Can this get anymore muddled?

Oh she had no idea!

"You support your family too much don't you Khushi? Well, they are all a bunch of cheaters. Cheaters who just know how to ruin people's lives and then pose themselves as a victim to gain other's sympathy when everything is destroyed. You belong to a family of cheaters. I wonder what that makes you?" He growled.

Khushi curled her hands into fists. He was back but then so was his revenge and all the other hurtful things.

"Will you still side with them? With your so called illegitimate sister?"

"BHAI!" Akash couldn't resist the bellow of a warning while Payal felt too hurt and shocked at the sudden turn of events to speak as he rebuked her.

Khushi jerked in her place frightened along with Anjali.

Arnav let out a sarcastic laugh stepping back so that now not only Akash but Anjali, Khushi and Payal were straight in the line of his vision.

"I don't blame you Akash. I don't. These Gupta sisters are charmers. They both have played the perfect role of being the daughters of Garima Gupta. They played well. BRAVO. Bravo girls. Great." He clapped his hands with his red eyes full of unshed tears as Khushi looked at him wounded.

"You might have had the heart to stay with a girl like Payal. An ill-"

"Don't you dare Bhai. Not again." Akash gritted out.

Arnav chuckled mirthfully.

"Okay. Okay." He raised his hands in surrender. "I won't. Relax brother. You can live with your wife happily even knowing everything but I-" He raised his lashes to Khushi who had her breath stuck up in some region of her throat.

"I-I can't." He whispered. "I..can't." He shook his head.

Khushi went pale as if all the life has been sucked out of her. All of it. Anjali and Payal gasped while Akash could only stare flabbergasted at his brother.

He didn't mean what he said. Did he?

He was just angry and again into misunderstandings. He will come around. Won't he?

"There is so much a person could take and I have reached to the brim of my patience. I can't carry on this charade anymore." He choked.

A lone tear rolled down Khushi's cheek dreading what he would say next. She sighed in relief inwardly when Di interrupted him making her exhale.

"One second Arnav. Wait a second. You are taking it all wrong. All over again. Garima Aunty was married to our father and--"

"HE WAS NOT MY FATHER." He cut her sharply. She flinched. Everyone present there did.

"And do you really think I would believe all that crap that woman dished out to fool me?" He scoffed.

"No way!" He shook his head. "But good for me that she cleared the fog in my mind. Made me realize that I was doing a favor to her by keeping her daughter with me. Married to me. Keeping Khushi away from her won't suffice anymore. Not all. She would have to pay more. More!"

"Chote you are drunk!" Anjali reminded him sternly. "And Garima Aunt-"

He cut her firmly.

"I am not drunk Di. Not at all. I must have been when I came here but.. But can you see this woman standing in front of me?" He pointed to Khushi."Only she has the power to make me intoxicated not any freaking alcohol." He hissed.

"And today I am going to uplift that power she has on me. Today I am going to be free. Forever from her trap."

A whimper left a paralyzed Khushi.

"You don't know what you are saying Bhai." Akash said angrily.

"I know it very well." He walked to Khushi then without staggering, without any support and he looked really sober which he declared he was.

Standing in front of a numb Khushi he placed his palm on Akash's chest to keep him at bay when he tried to stop him. Anjali and Payal looked on frightened.

What exactly was going on in his mind?

"Mrs.Raizada!" He whispered close to her face. Khushi raised her wet lashes, eyes full of tears to him.

"Do you know what date is today?"

She gulped.

"6th June." His voice turned more lower.

"The day we both first met."

Needles prickled her throat.

How can she forget?

"So today as its our first anniversary of knowing each other I have a surprise present for you!" He said huskily bending to her ear.

She closed her eyes tightly to elude the bitter reality.

Him!

Certainly for this very man she was begging Akash jiju to bring him back?

Come on Khushi now bear his hurt, pain and troubles you so wished in return of seeing him safe and sound, unharmed before you!

He wanted to unarm you by his absence and look here he succeeded!

And like a fool you felt into his trap all over again!

He pulled back causing her to open her eyes. He took out something from his blazer's inside pocket and waved it in front of her.

"Here." He raised her palm and placed the papers on it holding it upturned.

"You are not a Raizada anymore." He whispered secretly to her causing three gasps to reverberate in the air.

Earth beneath her shifted and Khushi swayed to which he caught her and pulled her closer wrapping his arms around her. Papers slipped from her hands and landed on the floor without a sound whilst she looked at him dumbfounded with tears stuck at the corner of her eyes.

"I couldn't live with you being married to you anymore. But now that we are not tied in a wedlock I can. So don't worry sweetheart. I won't let you leave. You'd stay with me anyway. But as my girlfriend or umm whatever you wanna call it. But you aren't allowed to leave me. At any cost." He punctuated his each word making it clear to her and a punch landed straight across his jaw separating Khushi from him.

"ENOUGH!" Akash bellowed. Anjali whimpered with her hand to her mouth while Payal rushed to her numb looking sister.

"Stay out of it Akash." Arnav said gripping his collar into a fist.

"You divorced her." Akash punched him again."Good for her to get rid of you but don't you dare think that I would let you make a mockery out of her life."

Arnav couldn't hold back at that and punched him back causing Anjali and Payal to shriek.

Downstairs in the living room Manorama was about to head to the kitchen when she heard voices and then the sound of the commotion. Recognizing them she ran back to her room and dragged Manohar out but not before checking on Devyani who was asleep fortunately with the effect of the medicine.

Closing her room door properly they headed up anxiously only to be horrified seeing Arnav and Akash hurling punches at each other while Anjali and Payal shouting at them to stop. Khushi who was still in the shock was hugged tightly by Payal.

"What is happening here?" Manohar shouted coming over to them and standing in between them after separating them.

Arnav and Akash breathed hard glaring at each other.

Akash snatched the papers from the floor.

"He came back home after weeks and first thing he did was divorce his wife." He waved the paper in front of them.

Manohar and Manorama couldn't help but feel their nerves about to burst with anxiety.

Does he even know what he did?

At this time?

When he was going to be father?

Well, he don't exactly. But what would happen of him when he did?

"And do you know Papa what he said after thrusting the divorce papers to her?" Akash gave him a disgusted look before looking at his father.

"He said that he still won't let her leave. He would keep her with him. Without marriage." He growled while Manohar looked at Arnav furiously after thoroughly reading the papers himself.

A slap resounded in the room. Arnav clenched his jaws standing with his hand curled into fists.

"It must have been the tradition of the Maliks to keep the mistresses Arnav but not of the Raizadas!"

Arnav's head shot to his Mamaji in surprise as he taunted him with his father's name which burned him.

"You better forget about living with Khushi without marriage. You yourself signed away the chance to be with her." He threw the paper on his face.

"Mama ji.." Arnav murmured shocked.

"Don't. Don't call me Mama until you don't wipe all the shit out of your mind." Manohar declared sternly.

"Next time come and talk to me only when you'd be sure that here--" He poked his chest. "No Arvind Malik's heart is beating."

Arnav staggered back wounded beyond words.

One by one everyone was comparing him with that monster. He wasn't like him. No. He wasn't.

Or was he?

"I AM NOT MY FATHER." He shouted hoping that the noise would shut down his innerself.

"Yes you are. Unless you prove it otherwise by leaving Khushi to breath in peace now that you have freed her off you, yourself." Manohar gritted.

"I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT HER." Arnav shout shook everyone there including there.

"THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE SIGNED THESE GODDAMN PAPERS!" Manohar couldn't keep his voice down either. He had kept quiet till now because he could somewhere understand his predicament but now this was getting beyond endurance. He was getting beyond endurance.

"It's not for her but for that Garima Gupta. Imagine what it would make her feel when she would know that her daughter is living without a marriage with me!" Arnav growled shaking with anger.

His words sent chills down everyone's spine except for Khushi who was too numb to feel anything.

"Well, for your kind information she already is suffering too much. Do you even know what she was going through worrying sick for her daughter when you left Khushi all alone without any news of you?"

"Oh don't tell me Bhai that you didn't keep tabs on all the happening when you were away?" Akash said sarcastically seeing Arnav frowning at Manohar's question.

What would he tell them that in what misery has he lived for two weeks without having a glimpse of her. Without talking to her. Without hearing her voice. Without touching her. Without her at all?

What would you feel when you don't get to hold your most precious possession in the hollow of your arms for whole lot of 14 days?

Half a freaking month!

How would they know?

They weren't capable of experiencing what he was. They weren't entangled in their past and their love. He was. So how would they understand? They can't. They could never.

"Tell me already Mr.Raizada because I would love to hear the suffering of the woman who was responsible for all my miseries till now. Because of her I had to stay away from my Khushi. That I had to.. had to divorce her to hurt her. So say it. Tell me!"

Akash gestured to Payal to take Khushi out of here as she still wasn't told about her mother's condition. If only they knew that Khushi was long past hearing anything around her. Her mind and body has gone frozen the minute he handed her the divorce papers and then told her that he has broken their marriage yet wouldn't let her leave him either.

"She suffered an attack of angina Arnav." Manohar gritted angrily seeing him unfazed of everything.

"Well that's--hey hey!" He quickly stepped in Payal's way who was taking Khushi with her.

"Where do you think you are taking her?"

"Away from you!" Payal growled.

"You and your mother already had taken away my mother from me. But back then I was stupid and naive not to stop it. This time you both are ought to separate me from what I desire the most in my life. Her. Ain't gonna happen!" He reached out and yanked Khushi in his arms causing everyone to shout at him.

"CAREFUL."

Everyone shrieked hard startling him but even that didn't break Khushi out of the stupor.

"Whoa!" Arnav muttered raising his eyebrow before frowning holding her close with her head on his chest.

"What's the matter?" He said. "She isn't ill is she?" He asked them but himself pulled Khushi back to check on her. With the back of his hand he touched her forehead and neck whilst Khushi stood silently without protesting. He deliberately ignored her unresponsiveness as he knew why she was behaving so.

Everyone present there had their breaths stuck up in their throats as they couldn't prevent the shout of protectiveness as Arnav yanked Khushi to him but they regretted it the minute he looked at them confused. No way in hell they wanted him to know about the baby and give him a solid reason to force her. No way!

Heaving a sigh of relief feeling her temperature was normal he took her back in his arms causing her head to fall lightly on his shoulder with her cheek pressed to his chest. His one hand cupping the back of her head before turning his attention back to all of them who looked at him stock still.

"What?" He tilted his head causing them all to sober up immediately as they didn't want him to suspect anything. Not at all. Not until Khushi herself don't want him to know.

"By the way, I am happy that Garima Gupta is getting her well deserved punishment." He said too satisfied after hearing her condition.

Five pair of eyes shoot daggers at him when he was about to take Khushi with him only for Akash and then Manohar to step in his way.

"Let her.. GO!" Akash warned already reaching out to free her.

Arnav shook his head at them as if amused.

"Just now you yourself told me that Garima Gupta has suffered from angina just because of the news of my absence from Khushi's life. Imagine what would happen to her when she would get to know that I divorced her?"

Their eyes widened.

He twitched his lips whilst looking at them smugly.

"If any of you came in my way then I won't sit back until Khushi is back to her mother and Garima Gupta know everything of what I said here or did. And also that I am planning to keep her daughter with me even after divorcing her." He turned around to give each one of them a searching look.

"Now if you all want that then go ahead. Be my guest. After that don't blame me for the consequences you'd have to face."

This time when he walked past them no one dared to stop him because they knew what he was capable of.

If Garima Gupta, in her fragile state, got to know about Khushi's divorce and Arnav's decision to still keep her daughter with him then that would be the end of her.

Once and for all!

Baby?

.

.

Something tore withinhim.Something which was left behind if there was anything remaining for that matter. Something which was left of hisheart. Pieces of his broken heart were now choking his breaths not letting himswallow or gulp down the massive ball that formed in his throat.

Her voice brokehis despondent state.

.

.

"Don't even say a word." He snapped at her in a low hoarsevoice.

Her sobs grew more.

"Aur...aur ye rona band karo! (And...and stop thesecries!)"

"Tumhare rone se maira faisla badalne wala nahi!(Your tears can't and won't change my decision.)"
