FEW DAYS LATER 

AT GOENKA VILLA

Kairav ( slid the plate away ) - mumma baas mujhe aur nahi kahana .

Naira - nahi baccha pehele yeh saare vegetables finish Karo .

Naira pointed toward the veggies that kairav discarded while eating pulao .

Kairav ( make faces ) - nahi mumma yeh vegetables kitne gande hai yuck .

Naira - beta aise nahi bolte aapki paar dadi kitne pyar se banaye hai naa woh bhi kitne time baad woh bhi aapke liye .

Kairav - but I don't like vegetables.

Naira - kairav agar mumma ko gussa ayega abhi . Finish your food please . Vegetables are healthy for you you know that right ???

Naira and kairav were caught in a metaphorical tug of war at the dinning table.  He was slowly getting into the habbit of eating by himself but that brought along another challenge . His pickness , especially came to the veggies leading a tiff between the son and mother .

Kairav - no mumma please .

Kairav made the most adorable eyes at naira and she almost gave in . Almost .

Naira - yeh nakhre apni teeno dadis ko ullu banane ke liye kar sakte ho mujhe nahi come on finish it .

Naira took the spoon in her hand , scooped up all the vegetables and stuff them in kairav 's mouth .

Naira - good boy .

Voice - kaun kise ullu bana sakta hai ???

Suhasni was standing at the edge of the dinning room with her hands on her hips .

Suhasni - kya boli tu naira ???

Naira ( gulp in fear ) - kuch nahi dadi woh toh kairav nakhre kar raha tha ki usse vegetables nahi kahana . Isliye maine kaha baas .

Naira lower down her head and closed her eyes in fear . She thought that she will scold her but she was shocked that instead of scolding her she laughed . ..

Naira - dadi aap .

Dadi - naira main tumhe door se dekh rahi thi jaise kairav nakhre kar raha tha waise hi kittu bhi nakhre karta tha aur swarna bhi usse aise hi danti thi .

Dadi ( continue) - kairav bilkul Kittu pe gaya hai mana tu kairav se bahaut pyar karti par thodi sakti bhi zaroori hai . Aur agar yeh puppy face banye toh pighalana maat bilkul .

LATE NIGHT

Kartik picked up the kairav who had fallen asleep on the sofa while watching a movie with laksh . He take laksh to his room and lay down . He switched off the light to kairav 's room and gently closed the door behind him .

When he went downstairs he saw that Sidharth doing the dinner .

Kartik - kya sid mera wait bhi nahi kara aur akele hi shuru kar diya .

Sidharth - kya karu yaar aunty itna accha Kahana jo banati hai .

Kartik saw that he ate Chole and get shocked .

Kartik - sid tune saare chole kha liye ??

Sidharth - haa kha liya toh mere liye hi toh bane the aur pata hai bahaut tasty the ???

Kartik get angry .

Sidharth - par aisa kyu puch rahi ho .??

Kartik - pagal maa ne tere liye chicken banaya tha dekho ???

Kartik pulled out the pot and opened the lid to show the chicken curry inside .

Sidharth - koyi nahi main chicken bhi kha lunga .

Kartik - sid tu toh chicken kha lega par tumhari bhabhi kya kaheyegi ?? Yeh Chole maa ne mere aur naira ke liye banaye the veg option aur sirf tere liye chicken banaya tha aur tune saree chole khatam kar diye . Woh agency main dance sikhane gayi hai late ayegi aur aakar kya kaheyegi ??? Aur tune chole khaye toh khaye saare khatam kyu kar diya .

Kartik mockingly clapped his hand . Sidharth realised his folly but didn't know how to fix it .

Sidharth - ab kya karege hame toh pata bhi nahi tha dubara bana le kya ??

Sid murmured the last line .

Kartik - an tu kya karega ?? Jo karna hai mujhe hi karna hoga . Warna woh sherni mujhe kaccha chaba jayegi . Abhi aati hogi woh aur pata nahi kitni bhooki hogi

Sidharth - sorry yaar .
Accha theek hai main chalata hu .

After that sid goes from there .

After some naira came back after half an hour later . First she opened the door of kairav 's room and checked him . She came outside for dinner but she find the dinner table empty .

Kartik - tumhara dinner abhi baan Raha hai .

Naira turned her head toward the kitchen and found kartik wearing an apron in front of two pots on the stove . She was surprised  she hadn't see him on her way in .

Naira - aap iss waqt  kitchen main kya kar rahe ho ??

Kartik ( sarcastically ) - dance kar Raha hu .

Naira - huhh ???

Kartik - kitchen main koyi kya karta hai ??

Naira - seedhe seedhe jawab do naa .

Kartik - aree woh maa ne tumhare liye chole banaye the par sid ne saare khatam kar diya . Toh tumhare liye dinner bana raha hu .

Naira - impressive mr goenka . Mujhe nahi pata tha ki tum itne caring ho sakte ho .

Kartik - hmm caring hoon khud ke liye . Agar tumhe kahane ke liye naa mile toh kya pata mujhe hi khane ko daudo . Isliye bana raha hu spaghetti pasta with marinara sauce .

Naira - tumhe kahana banana aata hai .

Kartik - continental aur italian dishes aata hai Indian bhi thoda thoda .

Naira - mujhe yakken nahi horaha hai ki tumhe kahana bhi banana aata hai .

Kartik - ohh sherni main 5 saal akele mumbai main raha hu tumhe kya lagta mujhe kahana banana nahi aata hoga ??

Naira - haa point hai .

Naira walked into the kitchen to peek at what 's cooking . Literally in one pot there was water boiling with pasta in it , while the other pan contain the marinara sauce .

Naira. - main kuch help Karu ??

Kartik  - nahi tum rehene do kya pata isse bigad do ??

Naira - kya yaar ek baar bread pakora kya galat bana gaya tum mujhe taane hi maaroge .

Naira remember the past incident when naira try to made bread pakora but she failed .

Kartik - mana tum baas bread pakora accha nahi banati par kachori bahaut acchi banati ho.

Naira smile not smile but she blushed

Naira left the kitchen and dragged out the chair at the dinning table to sit . Kartik turned off the stove and drained the spaghetti added it to the sauce and gave it to good mix
He brought the pan to the table and went back to get the plate .

Naira - sirf ek plate kyu aap nahi khayege .

Kartik - ham ek plate main hi khayege kyunki ek plate main kahane se pya...

He stop in mid and realised what he about to said meanwhile naira saw toward him with shocked .

Kartik ( nervously ) -  I means ek plate main kahana khane se dosti badti hai .

Naira nod and they start eating . Kartik just stare naira .

Kartik pov

Haaye kitni cute lag rahi hai naa yeh baas maan karta hai ki waqt yahi tham jaaye aur ham dono aise .

(Than he realised and slap on his forehead ) yeh kya soch raha hai tu kartik woh sirf kairav ki maa hai aur teri dost )
