As with the other Sengoku and Genesis Riders, Kamen Rider Zangetsu/Zangetsu Shin's forms are called Arms (アームズ Āmuzu). His personal Lockseeds are styled in pure Japanese. All of Zangetsu/Zangetsu Shin's Japanese Samurai-themed Arms' share the title Kabuto (カブト lit. "Helmet"), while his visors share the title Eye (アイ Ai).

Kamen Rider [Sengoku Rider] Zangetsu

As Sengoku Rider Zangetsu, Haruka's Sengoku Driver plays Japanese horagai music and announces "Soiya" (ソイヤ) before every transformation.

By pressing the Sengoku Driver's Cutting Blade down on the Lockseed after transforming from one to three times, Zangetsu can activate one of three finishing moves based on his current Arms form:

　・Squash (スカッシュ Sukasshu)
　・Au Lait (オーレ Ōre)
　・Sparking (スパーキング Supākingu)

In addition to the Sengoku Driver's finishing moves, Zangetsu can perform a Fruits Charge (フルーツチャージ Furūtsu Chāji) finishing attack by inserting a Lockseed into the Drive Launch of her Musou Saber.

Ride Wear (Watermelon Variant)

The Ride Wear (ライドウェア Raido Uēa) is Kamen Rider Zangetsu's undersuit, which is briefly seen during Zangetsu's transformation sequence before the attaches or when she changes Arms. However, this form is completely vulnerable to any incoming attacks when shot at directly in the suit rather than at the Arms that is descending down on the Rider.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu is one of only a select few who are defaultly equipped with a Musou Saber side weapon, which is held on the left side of her Sengoku Driver with a holster.

The Ride Wear that Zangetsu's has is easily identifiable through its Rider Indicator (ライダーインジケーター Raidā Injikētā) faceplate. The Rider Indicator only identifies what Ride Wear a Sengoku Driver contains for simplicity and can be replaced with extensions such as the Genesis Core or Senyo Joint.

When Zangetsu assumes Watermelon Arms, it changes the golden parts of his Ride Wear to red.

The Melon Arms (メロンアームズ Meron Āmuzu) is Zangetsu's honeydew melon-based default form. Accessed through the Melon Lockseed, this form bears the Melo Kabuto (メロウカブト Merō Kabuto, lit. "Melo Helmet") helmet with the Pulp Eye (パルプアイ Parupu Ai) visor.

While assuming Melon Arms, Zangetsu dons the Melon Armor Part (メロンアーマーパート Meron Āmā Pāto) and her primary Arms Weapon is the Melon Defender.

In terms of overall power stats, Zangetsu dominates by hitting harder than Gridon's hardest punch and Gaim/Kurokage's fiercest kicks. In terms of agility though, she outjumps Gaim in Pine Arms by two whole meters, and is about as fast as Baron in Banana Arms. Zangetsu moves at blinding speeds in quick succession during close combat. Utility-wise, Zangetsu can also use the Melon Defender as a weapon and can be thrown as a boomerang and also use the Musou Saber at ridiculous swinging speeds with the option of also using it as a firearm weapon.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu Melon Arms can perform her following finishers:

　・Mujin Kick (無刃キック Mujin Kikku, lit. "No-blade Kick"): Zangetsu activates the Squash function on his Sengoku Driver and jumps into the air, engulfed by a high concentration of green energy on her right foot as she strikes the target with a powerful kick.

　・Melon Musou Zan (メロン無双斬 Meron Musō Zan, lit. "Melon Unrivaled Slash"): Zangetsu activates the Squash function on his Sengoku Driver and charges the Musou Saber with melon-shaped energy before slashing the enemy. This finisher can also be done by locking her Melon Lockseed into her Musou Saber.

Kachidoki Arms (カチドキアームズ Kachidoki Āmuzu, lit. "Triumph Arms") is Zangetsu's honeydew melon-based secondary final form. Accessed through the Shin Kachidoki Lockseed, this form bears the Kachidoki Kabuto (カチドキカブト lit. "Triumph Helmet") helmet.

While assuming Kachidoki Arms, Zangetsu dons the Kachidoki Armor Part (カチドキアーマーパート Kachidoki Āmā Pāto, lit. "Triumph Armor Part") and his Arms Weapon is the white-colored variant of Kamen Rider Gaim's DJ Gun named Hinawa Tenga DJ-Ju (火縄甜瓜DJ銃 Hinawa Tenga Dī Jei Jū, lit."Matchlock Sweet Melon DJ Gun"). He also possesses twin green sashimono marked with his emblem in black called the Kachidoki Flag (Bata) (カチドキ旗(バタ) Kachidoki Hata (Bata), lit. "Triumph Flags (Thud)"), which are normally attached to his back, but can be used and wielded as close combat staff-like weapons.

In this form, similar to Gaim, Zangetsu's power was incredibly increased, thus making him stronger than Genesis Riders, including himself as Zangetsu Shin. Her strength is also enhanced at the cost of her speed and jumping height due to its bulky armor. To compensate for the loss of speed and jumping height, this set of Arms sports the impressive defensive power which is enough for her to withstand the firepower of dozens of Dandeliners with no ill effect.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu Kachidoki Arms can perform her following finishers:

　・Mujin Kick (無刃キック Mujin Kikku, lit. "No-blade Kick"): Zangetsu activates the Squash function on his Sengoku Driver and jumps into the air, engulfed by a high concentration of green energy on his right foot as she strikes the target with a powerful kick.

　・Kachidoki Charge (カチドキチャージ Kachidoki Chāji, lit. "Triumph Charge"): Zangetsu locks the Kachidoki Lockseed into the DJ Gun and fires a large ball of energy from the DJ Gun at the enemy.

　・Hinawa Tenga Musou Zan (火縄甜瓜DJ銃 Hinawa Tenga Musou Zan, lit."Matchlock Sweet Melon Musou Slash"): By locking the Kachidoki Lockseed, Zangetsu ignites the blade in green flames before unleashing a melon slice energy-based powerful slash on the enemy.

　・Flags Wild Dance (旗乱舞 Bata Ranbu): Zangetsu summons and charges the Kachidoki Bata with lime green energy, before he delivers several maskmelon-based energy slashes.

As Genesis Rider Zangetsu Shin, Haruka's Genesis Driver announces "Soda" (ソーダ Sōda) before every transformation.

By pushing the Genesis Driver's Seaboll Compressor into the Energy Lockseed after transforming from one to two times, she can activate one of two finishing moves based on his current Arms form:

　・Squash (スカッシュ Sukasshu)
　・Sparking (スパーキング Supākingu)

In addition to the Genesis Driver's finishing moves, Zangetsu Shin can perform a Sonic Volley (ソニックボレー Sonikku Borē) finishing attack by inserting an Energy Lockseed into the Energy Drive Bay of his Sonic Arrow.

・Genetic Ride Wear

The Genetic Ride Wear (ジェネティック Jenetikku Raido Uea) is Zangetsu Shin's default form undersuit, which is briefly seen during Zangetsu Shin's transformation sequence before the Armor Part attaches. However, this form is completely vulnerable to any incoming attacks when shot at directly in the suit rather than at the Arms that is descending down on the Rider.

The Melon Energy Arms (メロンエナジーアームズ Meron Enajī Āmuzu) is Zangetsu Shin's Yubari King cantaloupe-based default form and the final form of Kamen Rider Zangetsu. Accessed through the Melon Energy Lockseed, this form bears the Barilon Kabuto (バリロンカブト Bariron Kabuto, lit. "Barilon Helmet") helmet with the Steering Eye (ステアリングアイ Sutearingu Ai) visor.

While assuming Melon Energy Arms, Zangetsu Shin dons the Melon Energy Armor Part (メロンエナジーアーマーパート Meron Enajī Āmā Pāto) and her primary Arms Weapon is the Sonic Arrow.

As expected, the evolution from Melon Arms to Melon Energy Arms has boosted Zangetsu Shin's power, with his punching and kicking power increased exponentially. The only thing that hasn't changed, however, is the jumping height and the maximum running speed. Compared to other Genesis Riders, Zangetsu Shin can throw the 2nd hardest punch and his kicks are the third strongest. His agility stats, however, are about average.

Kamen Rider Zangetsu Shin can perform his following finishers:

　・Mujin Kick (無刃キック Mujin Kikku, lit. "No-blade Kick"): Zangetsu Shin activates the Squash function on her Genesis Driver and fuels all the energy from the Melon Energy Lockseed to its maximum potential before she jumps up and hits the target with her kick.

　・Unnamed Rider Slash: Zangetsu Shin activates the Squash function on his Genesis Driver and fuels all the energy from the Melon Energy Lockseed into his body, which is then converted into his Sonic Arrow before he slashes the target.

　・Sonic Volley (ソニックボレー Sonikku Borē): Zangetsu Shin locks the Melon Energy Lockseed into the Sonic Arrow and fires a powerful arrow shot that when it hits a target can pierce through their body and slice it into multiple pieces before exploding.
