Midnight: Alright everyone. The next and final event will be a one-on-one fight. The rules are simple. You are allowed to use your quirk however you want, but you can't kill your opponent. The winner of the battle is determined if the opponent can't continue to fight or if they were knocked out of bounds. If there happens to be a tie, there will be a tie-breaker. Besides that, here are the battles.

Ashido: I have to fight Raiden?! Help!

Midoriya looks at the chart and shows that Todoroki's match is after him. So if Todoroki wins, he'll fight him in the next round.

Midoriya: "Thought" If I remember correctly, Shinso was...

Shinso: It's you, isn't it? Midoriya Izuku. Looking forward to the first match.

Before Midoriya could answer, Ojiro used his tail to close Midoriya's mouth. Shinso just smirks and leaves. Midoriya look at Ojiro.

Midoriya: Ojiro-kun, what's the matter?

Ojiro: Don't answer his question.

Todoroki just look at the chart.

Todoroki: "Thought" It's sooner than I expected. Come, Midoriya. I'll defeat you with this hand.

Bakugo: Huh? Uraraka?

Uraraka: Kiiiiiiiiiii!!!

Hatsume: Are you Iida?

Iida: Hm? Indeed, I am Iida.

{At U.A. Sport Stadium}

Then the recreation tournament begins. The classes that are unable to participate in the finals can enter it because it's an open tournament. The rest of the ones in the finals are thinking about strategies for how to win the one-on-one battle.

Some tried to keep their presence of mind. Some prepared for the fight. Some of them sharpened their senses. And some tried to relax their nerves.

After the recreation tournament, Cementoss is building the arena for the battle at the center of the stadium.

Cementoss: Okay. It's pretty much done.

Present Mic: Thank you, Cementoss! All right, everybody, are you ready?!

The audience started to go wild with very loud cheers.

Present Mic: A lot's happened, but it's now come to this! A serious battle! You can only depend on yourself! Even if you're not a hero, you still will face any kind of situation! You get it, right? Heart, skill, body, wisdom, and knowledge! Use all of that to rush up!

Present Mic said as Midoriya and Shinso went to the arena.

Present Mic: Audience! The finals that you have all been waiting for are finally starting! Match number one... Even though, he has done well, what's with that face? From the Hero Course, it's Midoriya Izuku! Versus...Sorry, he hasn't done anything to stand out yet! From the General Studies, it's Shinso Hitoshi!

Right now, both of them are already in the area, ready to fight.

Present Mic: The rules are simple. Force your opponent out of bounds or immobilize them! You can also win by making your opponent say, "I give up!" Bring on the injuries! Because we have got our very own Recovery Girl, waiting on standby.

Present Mic: Put your morals and ethics aside for a moment! But of course, anything life-threatening is crap! It's not allowed! Heroes should only use their fists to catch villains!

Cementos: I will stop things if they go too far.

Then the match starts as Shinso asks a question, making Midoriya angry. After that, Midoriya accidentally answers his question and falls to his trick.

Ojiro: What?! I went through the trouble of warning him!

Present Mic: Hey, hey, what's the matter?! It's the important 1st match! Liven things up! Midoriya! The match just started... and he has completely frozen?! He has a black look on his face and isn't moving a muscle! Is this Shinso's Quirk?!

Present Mic: He didn't stand at all, but could he actually be someone amazing?! Shinso Hitoshi from the General Studies has gotten the better of Midoriya Izuku from the Hero Course! Who would have imagined it?! Will the bottom really overthrow the top?!

Aizawa: That's why, I said the entrance exam wasn't rational.

Present Mic: Huh? What?

Aizawa: Here is some basic data on the two of them. Since it's individual matches from here on out, I had someone compile it for me. Shinso failed the practical exam for the Hero Course. Since he also applied for the General Studies, he probably knew that would happen.

Iida: If you go out of bounds, then you will lose the match!

Kirigami: His Quirk is dangerous. But... really useful...

Present Mic: "Intro" Shinso Hitoshi! Brainwashing Quirk! Answering his question turns on a brainwashing switch in his opponent's brain, forcing them to do what he says. If he doesn't want the brainwashing switch to turn on, it won't!

Everyone: Huh?

Ojiro: Raiden-san! How do you know about it? And how do you keep your consciousness if you are...

Kirigami: When I said he would win, he would win!

Yaoyorozu: So what is he supposed to do?

Then Midoriya moves his fingers a bit and creates a powerful wind. After that, he is able to regain his consciousness.

Present Mic: T-This is... Midoriya is stopped!

Then the audience just shouts in the wild.

Iida: Midoriya!

Uraraka: I'm... I'm so glad!

Then Midoriya runs back towards Shinso and tries to push him out of bounds. Seeing that, Shinso punches Midoriya's injured fingers and tries to push him out instead. But Midoriya quickly uses the judo technique that he used on Bakugo in the combat training and slams Shinso to the ground. After that, his feet are now out of bounds.

Midnight: Shinso is out of bounds! Midoriya advances to round 2!

Then the audience starts to cheer loudly. After that, Midoriya goes to the nurse's office while Todoroki and Kazuha prepare for the fight. Then Midoriya came back to the seat area.

Present Mic: Thanks for waiting! Next up is... The blade of the wind. The spirit of a samurai. One of the powerhouses of class 1-B. From the Hero Course! Kaedehara Kazuha!

Kazuha: Let's go...

Present Mic: Versus... Taking second, then first in the prelims! You're way too strong kid! He wasn't recommended for admission for nothing! Also from the hero course, it's Todoroki Shoto! And now, for the second match of the finals... Ready... Start!

Todoroki freezes Kazuha with a powerful force of ice as big as the stadium spiking to the outside. But...

Kazuha's crimson eyes momentarily transformed into a vibrant shade of turquoise. Suddenly, a powerful hurricane materialized, encasing Kazuha within a swirling barrier of wind. As the tempest eventually calmed, Kazuha emerged clad in translucent samurai arm armor, adorned with a shoulder piece featuring a stylized depiction of an Oni mask on one side, while his visage was concealed behind another Oni mask.

Kazuha: It's been a while since I used this! I called this... Susanoo Onizukai!

Kazuha leaped into the air, conjuring a powerful tornado that swiftly drew Todoroki into its swirling vortex. As Todoroki found himself at the heart of the storm, Kazuha forcefully plunged his sword into the ground, giving rise to a series of ice spikes encircling the weapon. The frigid gusts combined with the icy spikes caused Todoroki's vision to become distorted. 

Subsequently, Kazuha directed a barrage of ice-infused sword energy towards Todoroki, who sought refuge behind an ice wall. The fusion of Kazuha's wind blades with the ice element rendered them impervious to Todoroki's ice-based attacks.

Kazuha: "Smirks" Is that it? No wonder your father is always the number 2 hero. He will never surpass All Might. He will never surpass Raiden Shogun. And you... you will never surpass Kirigami... Frostbite Edges!

Present Mic Intro: Kaedehara Kazuha! His Quirk: Razor Blade! He can manipulate air to create sharp blades that deal high damage. At the same time, those blades can absorb power from other elements, giving them the properties of those elements.

Then, Kazuha unleashed five ice wind blades aimed at Todoroki. But instead of disappearing, they will attack continuously without stopping like Boomerangs. When the time comes...

Kazuha: Kazuha Slash!

That wind absorbed the power of the ice, creating a miniature ice tornado. Inside the area that Kazuha created, Todoroki was weakened and Kazuha was noticeably stronger. That created an opportunity for Kazuha to attack Todoroki continuously.

Todoroki: Tch...

Todoroki's left side burst into flames, then he unleashed a powerful blast of fire that pushed Kazuha back. Kazuha did not have time to plant his sword on the ground for support, so he was blown out of the ring.

Midnight: Kaedehara is out of bounds, Todoroki advances to round 2! 

Todoroki: Sorry, I went overboard. I was angry.

Then the next two matches were something else. Kaminari lost to Shiozaki really badly because he had a huge disadvantage against Wood. And Iida won a... "Questionable" victory against Hatsume

Present Mic: All right!... on the left side is Ashido Mina from the Hero Course!... and on the right is none other than everyone's most popular vigilante, the "Thunderous Blade"... Raiden Kirigami, A.K.A THE TWILIGHT SWORDSMAN!!!

Kirigami: "Crack his knuckles" I'm gonna end this in 2 seconds!

Then they look at Ayaka who radiates a cold aura

Ayaka: "Thought" That bitch! Who does she think she is?! He is mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!

Present Mic: Ready... Start!

Ashido: AHHHHHHHHHH!

Without warning, Kirigami swiftly struck Ashido, sending her flying out of the ring before anyone could even react. The force behind his punch was so powerful that it created a vacuum effect, allowing Kirigami to generate a fireball by simply swinging his fist from a distance, catching Ashido off guard with the fiery attack. Then the audience except his mother, his team, and Kagerou is amazed that Kirigami has finished the fight in under 10 seconds.

Midnight: Ashido is out of bounds! Raiden advances to round 2!

Then the audience starts to cheer loudly. After that, the medic bots bring Ashido to the nurse's office while Yaoyorozu and Ayaka prepare for the fight. Then Kirigami came back to the seating area. 

Present Mic: Let's continue! Here we have on the left side is Yaoyorozu Momo from the Hero Course!... and on the right is none other than the ice queen of the school. Hero Course, Kamisato Ayaka!

Ayaka: "Thought" Time to end this... I won't use Soumetsu on her...

Present Mic: Ready... Start!

Ayaka: Kamisato Ryuu... Samuzora No Kugi! (Nail Of Cold Heavens) 

Ayaka created a giant ice spike that fell straight to the ground where Yaoyorozu was standing. Although that move was not fatal, it caused Yaoyorozu to be trapped in that giant ice spike.

Present Mic Intro: Kamisato Ayaka! Her Quirk: Blizzard Sakura! Like Todoroki, she can create ice and manipulate ice over a large area. She can also freeze moisture in the air or in people. The highest realm of this Quirk is the ability to lower the surrounding temperature to absolute zero.

Midnight: Yaoyorozu-san, can you move?

Yaoyorozu: O-Of course n-not. Ow...

Midnight: Yaoyorozu-san is immobilized! Kamisato-san is the winner.

(Time Jumps)

Present Mic: Now move forward! On the left side is... She is the flame of the festival, she is the spirit of the festival, she is the festival herself! One of the powerhouses of class 1-B. From the Hero Course! Naganohara Yoimiya! Versus... Manly and passionate hardening! From the hero course, it's Kirishima Eijiro!

Kirishima: Yosha!!

Yoimiya: Bakuretsu Koi! (Bursting Carp!)

Yoimiya fires a giant carp that rushes at Kirishima and then it explodes. Behind that layer of smoke, Kirishima had solidified himself, but then many other small carp appeared. Then they continuously explode like fireworks creating a unique performance

Present Mic Intro: Naganohara Yoimiya! Her Quirk: Firecrackers! She can control fire and create explosions of varying intensity similar to fireworks!

Kirishima could not endure the explosions even though he had solidified himself, but in the end he was still thrown away.

Kirishima: Ouch...

Midnight: Kirishima is out of bounds! Naganohara advances to round 2!

And lastly of the tournament is Bakugo's victory against Uraraka.

Midnight: Alright everyone. That concludes Round One. Here is Round Two.
