(Y/n)'s POV

We started walking following the directions on the map that Mikage gave us . I'll have to say Nanami stayed quiet all the way along -That as much as I have read in the manga was very rare.

We arrived at the shrine and my eye started twiching at the sight (just like the one above) . It looks even more rundown than it did in the manga-this was what was going in my mind .

"I'm never trusting elders ever again" said Nanami . Yeah she was right but she didn't knew what followed next but I did . "Let's head back (Y/n) I'm sure you don't wanna stay in this haunted house" Nanami said to me . "Hey Nanami why don't we just stay here for tonight and head back tomorrow it's already very late and aren't you getting sleepy 'cause I am"
I said . She agreed , I did this so that the story could go accordingly .

As we started entering the shrine there were creaking noises everywhere ."Hello, hello is anybody in here?" Nanami started asking . Then she suddenly fell I squated to her level and asked if she was okay . She replied with a nod and said ,"The rocks here are very uneven that made me trip" she told me . I helped her in getting up but before she could fully get up , voices started coming ,"Lord Mikage ?" said a male voice ,"is that you Lord Mikage?" this time a female voice said and suddenly fire erupted all around us in a circle . I love horror movies so I didn't mind any of this but....Nanami was super scared. Then I don't know  from where she got so much strength that she got up quickly started as screaming and  running backwards and she got hit by the stairs and she fell on her back .All I could do was just stare at her with a 'seriously' look . It's not been more than 5 minutes and she tripped for the second time .

Nanami's POV

"Indeed it is you"  said an unknown voice, different from the previous voices .We both looked in the direction of the voice .All I saw was smoke and a figure of a human and not so clearly but I could see ear like things on it's head . Then the smoke cleared and there was man with white hair wearing a kimono with animal ears and tail, wait WHAT!! ANIMAL EARS AND TAIL NO HUMAN HAS ANIMAL EARS AND TAIL !!! And I screamed .

(Y/n)'s POV

Nanami screamed in horror but I stayed put . "You know 40 yrs is a way long time and you abondaned me for forty long yrs . And now, YOU DIEEEEE!!!!" ,said the fox and came charging at us with a very deadly look on his face and eyeballs were missing from his eyes and this reflected pure anger.
I stood in his and Nanami's way and yelled, "STOP!!!". And fortunately he did stop - cool , and now he had a stupid face with wide eyes . Nanami was again screaming behind me and this time I felt as if my ears are gonna explode but then she stopped and I let out a sigh in relief and white mushroom or a chef's cap shaped thing came out of my mouth and within seconds disappeared.
