NANAMI'S POV

I opened my eyes slowly as the sunlight fell over them . I sat up and yawned. The memories from yesterday coming back to me. That's right, I've to leave today. I looked over to my side and found (y/n) sleeping peacefully snuggling a pillow. I stand up and make my way to the washroom quietly , careful not to wake her up.

After I'd cleaned up and taken a bath , I move out dressed in a blue full sleeved t shirt and a light pink skirt. I then proceed to pack my belongings. After that I put on my coat and wrap a muffler around my neck, ready to leave.

By this time, (y/n) had woken up. She came over to me rubbing her eyes to get rid of sleep and with that major bed hair case head of hers . I giggled a little at this sight, she looked like a child right now. She stared at me and my stuff with a confused look on her face and as she opened her mouth to speak but before she could , came an ear deafening scream.

"NANAMI SAMA!!!!!" Onikiri and kotetsu screamed. We had to cover our ears. "ARE YOU REALLY LEAVING HERE!! PLEASE DON'T DO THAT!!" They requested to me. Damn they're loud.

But I have to go.

"Jeez guys, lower your volume , nobody is deaf here " (y/n) said to them. " Apologies, (y/n) sama " they bowed. " Nanami sama , please don't g-AAHH!!! You already got dressed!" they exclaimed, taking in my appearance. This time I bowed down to them " Thank you for letting me stay here . I'm much indebted to you both " I said.

I became God due to some unusual circumstances but I'm still a normal high school student. I can't stay here....... And make Tomoe go away. I need to leave and go.... Today.

" Nanami sama , we're just house spirits. We need Tomoe dono to be the familiar of the shrine at all costs." They pleaded to me while crying. "Speaking of Tomoe, where is he right now? I need to say goodbye to him" I said with a smile.

Just after I spoke , kotetsu ran off while saying " Then I'm going to find him right now! " " Wait!!" I shouted and he stopped at once, turning towards me. " I...uh..I wanted to apologize to him " I admitted.

I was rude to him the other day. He cherished this shrine more than anything or anyone and I ended up hurting him.

(Y/N)'S POV

Nanami said that she wanted to apologize to Tomoe. Why though? That asshole isn't someone you should apologize to. " We don't mind that. But Tomoe dono might be in that world " they said together. "What world? Which world is that asshole shitting himself? " I asked.

"He might be in the Netherworld" they replied.

"The netherworld, huh . can you take us there? " I asked. "Yes, we can" they replied and bowed. " Well then , let's go , Nanami" I turned towards Nanami. She nodded to me in agreement.

STILL (Y/N)'S POV

This place is totally engulfed in darkness. It's so dark that we have to carry a lamp with us. I don't know how people , no wait, demons see in here. Don't their eyes give up on them? Maybe it's one of their abilities to see in so dark because you know, they're supposed to be 'powerful'.

We ended our walk on some shady shop. That fox is here? " Tomoe dono? Are you here Tomoe dono?" Kotetsu and onikiri inquired while opening the door.

And there he was ,with half of his kimono down on his waist and drinking something which two dog girls(?) poured for him. Seeing the view in front of us Nanami hid behind the door and tugged my sleeve as if wanting me to come with her but I stayed put.

If I've to be honest, I would say that this fox looks kinda intimidating .

Right now his eyes were closed so he hasn't seen me. " You're too loud onikiri, kotetsu " he said and drank whatever that was in his cup. "What do you want with me? "He says in a rather uninterested tone; still with his eyes closed. " TOMOE DONO!!!!" Onikiri and kotetsu screamed and ran towards him, shaking him up. " You're a familiar and you're hanging around the red light areas!?! How shameful!! Do you have any idea how sad Mikage sama would be if he knows about this!! " they exclaimed. " "Unfortunately Mikage isn't around anymore " he said and drank another cup . " Whether I get drunk or turn barbarous , that's totally upto me" he said in a serious tone and laid down on the ground facing the opposite side.

"You're are going to come back Tomoe dono and become Nanami sama and (y/n) sama's familiar. Don't you care if the shrine breaks down?!?" kotetsu said .

I thought he would come back after this. Not for being our familiar but for the shrine. But what he said after that really shocked me , "I don't really care. It can break down or whatever. It's not my business anymore. Do you know how relieved I am after quitting that troublesome job of a familiar? From now on I'll indulge myself everyday and live in lust" he said.

What the hell is wrong with him? Isn't the shrine the place where he spent 20 years of his life? Isn't that his home? How can he give it up so easily?!?

"Tomoe dono! (Y/n) sama and Nanami sama wanted to meet you. "onikiri and kotetsu said. "Huh?" Was all he said. "And they're currently here " they completed. He quickly turned towards me with wide eyes. Well he finally opened his eyes. This sick bastard.

He stared at me, in shock .
I glared at him, in anger.
