Hera was watching a human couple. They were smiling, 'no fangs' the Twi'lek thought.

'They also look somewhat similar...'
Hera continued to think while watching the two.

The male lightly pushed the woman's hair behind her ears, and she smiles at him lovingly. The couple walk away, out of Hera's eye sight, as she sighed.

Hera reached to her head and instead of feeling hair, she felt the lekku growing out of her head.

She then put her hand where human ears normally would be... She didn't have normal ears, Hers were different and cone shaped.

    The pilot wondered, 'would Kanan be happier with a human?'

     Hera didn't know why she was thinking this, she knew that he loved her for who she was, but she couldn't help but wonder.

        The hair behind the ears thing, seemed like a really happy thing to both the male and female, like it was kind of a sign showing that they care... But she didn't know, she didn't have any hair.

     'Hera stop, what are you doing, you never questioned yourself before, don't start now, you've always been so confident...' Hera scolded herself in her mind.

    'But what if...' Her thoughts were interrupted  by Kanans voice.

    "Hey Hera!" Kanan smiled and placed a hand on her shoulder.
 
    "Hey..." Hera smiled, trying to mask her emotions. Kanan frowned, he knew her well enough to see through her mask.

     "What's wrong?" The Jedi sat down next to The pilot, and took both of her hands in his.

     "Well... Urm- uh... Does it-... Does is bother you that I'm not human?" Hera questioned. Kanans eyes widened.

    "Hera, no, of course not!"  Kanan reassured her, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her closer to him, "why would you even think that?"

     "I don't know... I was just thinking an-"

    "Well stop thinking like that." Kanan stammered, he calmed his voice alittle and placed a kiss on her forehead, "Your perfect just the way you are... I love you whether your human or not..."

    Hera smiled, looking happier now.

    "I love you too."

       Kanan smiled and gave her a quick kiss on the cheek.

     "Now come on, love, we have to get back to the Ghost" Kanan said while getting up. Hera nodded in agreement.

    Kanan wrapped his arm around her and the two walked all the way back to the Ghost together, completely forgetting the Phantom.

This was just a random idea I had because I was reading comments on YouTube and people were saying that kanera was weird because they were two different species... So yeah that's where this idea came from...
