The engagingly quiet day was totally idled out, with his arms tied around his back and Lotus-like eyes gently darting themselves towards the most sunniest window, Kanha stood there almost unbothered with the rhythmic happenings around him.

"Did you hear about Viranth ascending the throne of Karusha?" He spoke in an harmonic overtone, which might have looked like he was talking to himself before Dhriti's soft chuckle echoed the silent corners of the room.

"You knew I was here all along?" She warmly smiled, ushering herself further.

"Chanchala's presence would never not cross my mind." His voice smiled within itself as he didn't turn around.

"Yes, I did get informed about Viranth ascending the throne out of the blue and right now, I hold no pleasure to pay any heed to it. But why do you ask?" Dhriti started off with a smile, leaning further to have a look at his face.

"Nothing actually, I got informed about a news which was not about and against me after soo many days so I thought I would let you know too but maybe the queen knows just anything eveything before the rest of the world does." He replied with a fascinated smile up his lips.

"Oh come on now who dares to talk and plot against you? Let's hope no one. Not after they know what happened with Viranth, Chitraksh and Dantvakra." Dhriti complacently chuckled, putting a hand on Kanha's hand.

"There is one. Shishupal. If you remember about the promise I made to his mother, Shrutashrav." He wiggled his brows.

"Yes, I do remember about it. A very unsettling promise you've made for a person who deserved a punishment ages ago." Dhriti shrugged in a playful undertone.

"As you should! I had told you the story while you stole some Makhan for me from the kitchen. And did I mention you were angry on me?" He teased with his prominent smirk.

"Yeah, yeah. Good old days. Did I mention that now we barely get any time together?" Dhriti mimicked him with a squint, lightly laying her head on his tall stature.

"Maybe we -" Kanha's soothing melody was interrupted by a loud thud echoing in.

"Eh... Bua! This piece of cotton attributes noting to my appearance." Shatanik stomped in.

"That's a Janeu, Shatanik and its not supposed to cheer up your already handsome look either." Kanha chuckled patting his back.

"Are you speaking the truth Kakashree?" Shatanik flashed a cheeky grin.

"Undoubtedly I am. Why will I lie?" The older one smiled back.

"Ofcourse he is! Sure!
Also, Shatanik, now don't try to break loose of the Janeu. It's supposed to stay wherever it is." Dhriti bent down at his level, adjusting back his pleated clothes.

"Then if it's not doing anything for my appreance, then why do I wear it?" Shatanik pouted at her.

"All Kshatriyas and Brahmin men are supposed to wear it around their bodies. Reminder : You are a Kshatriya Prince too so you're supposed to do the same. End of topic." She giggled back.

"I asked why and you told me who are supposed to wear it. This outsmarting is invalid." Shatanik crossed his arms.

"There are these three parts of Janeu. Each one of them signify the Goddess of Wisdom, the Goddess of Fortune and the Goddess of Strength. You, young man, need the blessings to be flourished in Al these aspects and hence, you're supposed to keep it around your torso.
Now grace my life and drink the milk which I'm bringing for both you and Vaishnavi. Come now." Dhriti raised her brow with giving an explanation upto the little boy's understanding as she looked back at Kanha, who nodded his head considerately, not without hiding his grin watching her manage two 'very obedient' kids. While Shatanik, surprisingly held her hand walking out of the room.

"Maa! How nice you're already here. The dasis are forcing me to drink the milk and have those fruits and I hold no pleasure to do so." Vaishnavi looked at her with pleading eyes to which Dhriti sighed, looking at both of them as the kids negatively nodded.

"I don't know, the one who finishes the milk and the those fruits before leaving will be my favourite. Now I'll leave the descion to you both." She raised her hand with a smirk, ignoring their sweetly agitated cries.

"Hurry up my darlings, unless you want to get late in reaching Indraprasth." She teased with her final chuckle.

The warm hues of the sky effortlessly blended with each other like the fiery envy slowly encompassing the voids of Duryodhan's heart into its infernating holocaust. His jealousy was like a green eyed monster, harmfully reflecting his inner insecurity and his conflicted diffidence as he made his way to the kingdom his elder cousin had inherited, despite the differences and his personal resents.

"Where have they built the Maya Sabha? All I can see are these woods surrounding us." Dushashan side lined the resentful silence.

"I'd heard that Mayasur has created the Maya Sabha even more magnificent than the Indra Sabha. What benevolence had Yudhishtir and his brothers done that even the demi gods and creates have started paying obeisance to them?" Duryodhan indignantly spoke in an undertone.

"Have patience, Mere Bacche. Have patience." Shakuni finally moved a step towards his nephew.

"All this can be yours, and indeed, be so. I have never ever accepted any defeat in my life." He continued with a smug expression.

"Let it be, Mamashree. You have made several ploys and plans, but you were never successful! I no longer have any faith on you. Be it about Viranth or anyone else." Duryodhan's pitch raised to his highest exasperation.

"I'm speaking the truth, Mamashree. I want the success right today, not in the hopes of an undying future! And henceforth, I'll come up with my plans myself!" Duryodhan tired around, looking at the magnificent territory around him with a sullen expression.

"One does not keep making plans to clinch their own benefits. They're required to take useful descion. And to take descions, one must get themselves rid of their fears" A man confronted in a prideful and engmatic manner.

He averagely humanoid body stood heads and shoulders below the Yuvraj of Hastinapur and his dear friend. With hsi broad face and sinister looking glint in his eyes, he wore a band of soft peacock feathers around his waist, highlighting the irony of the situation.

"Maharaj Shishupal...
Are you questioning my competence?" Duryodhan began with a complacent pause.

"No! Not me but your extremely beloved brother Yudhishtir is. The sons of Maharaj Pandu, verily indeed his daughter too, are definitely questioning your competence. Haven't you seen, don't you know how many Kings and nobilities have come here for Samrat Yudhishtir's - uh no- Chakravarti Samrat Yudhishtir's Raj Suya Yagya to accept his dominance. At last, that deceitful cowherd had made Yudhishtir the undefeated Emperor without causing any harm to his and his wife's status as the King and Queen of Dwarka." Shishupal spoke in his own despise, utterly hiding it to provoke the people standing in front of him.

"Do not use verbal abuses and trade insults, Chedi Naresh. The competition created by Pandavas here, shall indeed end in the battlefield someday and that day, everyone will know each one of our adeptness." Karna quickly advanced in Duryodhan's defence.

"Living in the delusion of taking everything to the horizon of battlefield? That must be your strife, not mine. The Yadavas were the most instrumental in accomplishment and hence, I shall indeed render this ceremony ineffective." Shishupal mockingly chuckled in the beginning, ending his words in a spiteful way, not bothering to look at the escalating change of expressions on the remaining four faces.

"You see, Chedi Naresh, you are absolutely right. We all must have seemingly different reason of resentment but at present and forthwith, we must look out to fill two needs with one deed." Shakuni limply forged ahead, sensing the tension to ease it down for his own benefit.

" 'At present and forthwith' we are supposed to find a way towards the palace of Indraprasth which seems absolutely sightless at the moment." Duryodhan remarked at Shakuni's tactical speaking with a sulk.

"It's that way! Right at the end of this blossoming enclosure opens the gates to the palace of Indraprasth." A resonatingly shrill voice faded in as a pair of arched eyebrows looked down, sweeping away the curtains of the carriage. Her shadow like yet vibrant attire gently swayed across as she got down on her slender, dark painted feet fully revealing herself to stand just across her father.

Imagine her as Karenumati Tadaaaa

The resentfuly firery expression traces back to their own ease as he took a look at his daughter, smartly yet respectfully pointing out the right way for the rest of them.

Shakuni's eyes immediately squinted, as his mind howled with disparate questions. Similarly enough, the others stared at the unending path of woods, impugning the Princess' confident directions.

As much as Shishupal himself wanted to interrogate his daughter as to why and how she knows about this road to Indraprasth, he decided to silence himself as his eyes immediately turned back, to the rather silent second party, as he took notice of the very evident change in their features.

"She's my daughter, the Princess of Chedi, Karenumati." Shishupal collectively chipped up a rather small introduction, not wanting to reveal more, as Karenumati slightly straightened her posture, still staying low.

"Pranipat!" She softly greeted with a meticulous voice, directing a mutual smile at the three of them. Her smile and her features stayed low yet avoiding her disinterest to be with them to come out loudly. Undoubtedly, Nakul had exchanged enough letters and talks with her for her to know about their deleteriously inhuman nature and balefully plotted cabals against the person she deeply loved and indeed his entire family.

"This? This entangled wood creepers is the right way to the palace?" Duryodhan looked at Karenumati with the same uncertainty, pointing at the thicket.

"Yes, Yuvraj Duryodhan.
I can usher you all, if that doesn't harm your psyche and selfdom." Karenumati, much to her own little chagrin, subtly nodded, inaudibly mumbling the last line.

Apparently, the polite offer she made for ushering them towards the palace, was Infact rhetorical. Karenumati didn't wait for an approval from either of the men surrounding her as she herself lead the way, ultimately obliging them to follow her.

For a flat few minutes, Shishupal, out of all his stale mannerisms, for once had this warm smile on his face which took turns for changing into questioning looks about the completely different enthusiasm and confidence Karenumati had for a land she had never visited.
If truth be told, to everyone else, it looked like the young lady knew what she was doing, contrary to the reality that she was just following that little symphony of her heart.

A small smile slowly crept her lips, lighting up her delicate features as she took in the beautiful surroundings she had only imagined in Nakul's letters. Recalling that Nakul had absolutely no idea of her presence and no surety if she would ever come, her smile grew into a much bigger, warm grin, inviting the cool breezees to surround her as the bright sunlight from the open land of the Palace of Indraprasth, slowly painted her face.
