The platform slowly starts filling around me, as if me coming early doesn't matter anymore. It's rather weird.

"Hey Kenny," Kyle says.

I smile at him.

"Hey man," I say.

Kyle laughs.

"Stan and Wendy are coming right after me-," Kyle says.

"You talking about me?" Stan asks.

He and Wendy are red as all hell.

"What's happening here?" I ask.

Stan smiles.

"Nothing. Wendy is just some damn good company," Stan says.

"You fucking asshole," Wendy says.

She smiles at him.

"Is it just me or are those two acting like a couple?" I quietly ask Kyle.

"Don't ask me, Ken. My understanding of that subject might be the worst it could be, I've never been big on crushes or relationships," Kyle answers, as quiet as I asked.

"Come on, lovebirds," Wendy says.

"No no, I am not gay," I say.

"Ooooh, you so are," Stan says.

Wendy nods.

"Guess who's joining the school band?" Wendy asks.

"I don't know. You?" Kyle asks.

Stan shakes his head.

"She talked me into trying out, not going into it," Stan says.

The Slytherin girls come to get Wendy.

"Say goodbye to your boyfriends, we have big news," Lizzy says.

"Hey Liz," Kyle says.

"Oh hi Ky. Hey, I meant to thank you, I didn't completely flop the test because of you. Thank you, man," Lizzy says.

"Oh don't worry about thank you's. It's enough if I helped," Kyle says.

"Fucking Ravenclaws need their egos boosted," I say.

"We are more insecure than most people but don't fish for compliments," Kyle says.

"But come on, Wens. We have tons to talk about. Guess, who Patty talked to this summer?" Heidi asks.

"I don't know, Cartman?" Wendy asks.

"HOW?" Heidi asks.

I laugh.

"Come on, tell me what happened," Wendy says.

"Your girlfriend is going to be a gossip girl, I'm calling it," I whisper to Stan.

"Shut up," Stan whispers back to me.

"He has some project he's going to do with one of us this year! He's heard how awesome all of us little shits are," Patty says.

"Don't say you actually think it's a good thing," Wendy says.

"It absolutely is," Patty says.

"How?" Wendy asks.

"So, Wendy dear," Heidi says.

"You're going to call Lizzy dear, not me," Wendy says.

"Fuck no," Lizzy says.

"Anyway. Wendy. You do realise that as Slytherins we have front line seats to new followers? Yeah, you understand that? That means, simply put, that we have a possibility of learning more than any other people and Cartman, as the son of the closest follower, is perfect for hearing more. You're either on the side of mudbloods and squib kids, which means you can give it out to them or you can join," Lizzy says.

"Lizzy, you know what side I'd choose," Wendy says.

"Yeah but still, Wendy, you realise how big that is," Lizzy says.

I see the boy we were talking about on the other side of the train, take Kyle and Stan and get on the train.

"We don't want you getting mad," I tell Kyle.

Kyle nods and we go into the compartment that's closest to the girls.

"Morning, Eric," Wendy's voice says.

"Good morning," he says.

His voice sounds so different it sounds creepy.

"Is there some reason for you being here?" Heidi asks.

"Well, ladies, I have a project going on and I would need some help," Cartman says.

"Just state the project," Lizzy says.

"Later. But for now, only thing I need is your names on this paper," Cartman says.

"I... erm. Why so?" Heidi asks.

"I just need your agreement to stay silent. You know, Wendy, your mother isn't as ill as your family thinks. There are ways of curing what she has," Cartman says.

"How do you know about my mother-?" Wendy asks.

Stan looks angry at the tone of voice she has changed to. She sounds just the slightest bit scared.

"I have connections," Cartman says.

"You fucking-," Stan mutters.

"Shut up. If the girls want to do this, we aren't allowed to say no to that," Kyle says.

"Don't you hear the fucking evil in his voice?" Stan asks.

As soon as it's Wendy, Stan is suddenly the most protective and un-Hufflepuff person around. Wouldn't do the same if it was me, that's for sure.... what am I even thinking? I'm being stupid.

"So you should sign and my connections might help you," Cartman says.

"Even if I do, you can always change your side," Wendy says.

"Do you want to make an unbreakable vow or something?" Cartman asks.

Kyle falls off the bench.

"No! Do you fucking think that I will do this shit?" Wendy asks.

"Are you sure? You're making an enemy like this," Cartman says.

"You muggle hating little bitch!" Wendy screams.

"Oh it was going so smooth until he mentioned the unbreakable vow," Kyle says.

"Any of you interested? Heidi?" Cartman asks.

"Why me? Why are you automatically going from Wendy to me?" Heidi asks.

"How's your father?" Cartman asks.

There is complete silence afterwards.

"I'm out," Patty says.

Kyle gets up.

"What the hell? You tell me I can't go but then go yourself?" Stan asks.

"I'm not going yet," Kyle says.

"Why are you getting up? Which part of it?" I ask.

"Heidi," Kyle says.

"You sick bastard," Heidi says after a minute of silence.

A loud noise and a baby like crying can be heard.

"Don't ever talk about my father again or I'll rip your fucking brain out," Heidi says.

"She's a badass," I say.

"She is. Hey, i have a bit to talk with her," Kyle says.

He leaves.

"What's this business all around?" Stan asks.

"His Dad is good friends with her dad. From what I know, Heidi's dad got bit by a werewolf this summer. As it's a bit after Kyle's granny got bit as well, he said he'd be there for her this year. Or something like that," I say.

Stan nods.
