It is the year 1876 (idk what year the comic dub is based on sorry)

Another year of being in the castle of count dragul, another year of wondering the halls, another year of being bound to this earth, another year filled with constent worry...

Let me explain.

You are dead, a ghost wondering the halls of this castle. Of course you arent the only ghost there but it kinda felt like your more 'active' then the rest, unlike the others you dont remember much of your past life. A few bits and pieces, but not a whole lot.

For starters you do remember your name, what age you where when you passed, the day of your birth most of those important things. The only thing you remember is that you have a son, you dont remember his name not even know if you where a good parent to him. You remember him being very very young but you dont remember what he looked like so you didnt have much to go on to look for him sadly...

You remember wondering here to this castle after waking up over your own dead body, you only stayed cuz the castle wasnt so lonely.
When you met count mickey you felt like you wanted to protect him, others of the castle say that it was your '(motherly/fatherly) instincts'.
So you just acted like a parent to mickey, calling him your child, making sure he eats, stays healthy, not get hurt by sunlight.

Being a vampire he was obviously older then you are and is clearly not a child but surprisingly he did not mind you being so (motherly/fatherly) to him, now there was times that you went a little over the line on babying him but you tried not to go overboard like you used too.

You loved mickey like a son even tho he is 100x your own age, it made that hole that was left feel less empty. It still did feel empty sometimes cuz you had something missing from your afterlife, your other son.

You often think about things like how he is or is he ok but you would never had the answer to those questions. Because you dont remember your own child.

What kind of parent would forget their own baby?

It hurts. A lot.

When mickey took in a young lady named mina you felt worried. Mainly because she isnt a vampire, she has stayed for a week now.
She was rather very kind to you and eventually you started to treat her like she was your daughter.
Even though she was there for a short amount of time, she felt like family to you. When mina and mickey had fallen in love you felt glad, glad that your vampire son is no longer in his personal hell.
That for once in a long time he is truley happy.

As you stood at the garden you only thought of your son that had lost you.
You wondered where he is now...
