After about 10 minutes, I saw where Keith took us: the park. There was not that many people there: a few elderly couples and little kids who weren't old enough to go to school yet. Otherwise, the entire place was peaceful.

"Why are we at a park?" I asked Keith as he parked his bike at a spot near the park.

"Well, honestly, I didn't know where we were going to go. I just wanted to spend time with you," Keith replied cheekily, giving me a full out smile.

"O-Oh," I said. He wanted to spend time with me? Willingly? That sure was a first...

To be honest, everything with him is a first.

Keith and I walked to the park in silence as just roamed around the place, observing the world around us. After a few minutes, he broke the silence.

"You wanna see who can go higher on the swings?"

I really wasn't up for the challenge, so I declined politely. Keith obviously wasn't going to back off, because he responded with, " What? Afraid you are going to loose?"

That sparked something in me. It might have been anger or just the need to prove Keith wrong. Either way, I was going to show Keith I wouldn't back down.

" Race you!" I bolted towards the swings, and it took Keith a second to process what I said before a smirk appeared on his face and he ran after me. Either I was slow, or he was really fast, because he passed by me in no time at all.

Even though the distance I ran wasn't far, I was panting and felt like I died once I reached Keith, who didn't even break a sweat.

"Wow Pidge, we really need to work on your stamina. Otherwise, how are you going to keep up with me?" Keith said, smirking as he leaned against the swings pole.

"W-whatever," I replied, getting my breath back.

"Still up for the challenge?" Keith said, and suddenly I wasn't tired.

"You're on," I said ask went to a swing. Keith took one too.

"Okay, whoever goes higher wins. Ready, set, go!" Keith said, and we both started swinging.

It wasn't long before I was high up, while Keith was lower than me.

"This isn't fair," Keith whined, and he looked so cute and innocent.

After a while, I was about to bring myself down when Keith said, "Wait! Let's see who can jump further, okay?"

"U-uh, I am not sure about that," I said, looking at how high I was. I've never jumped from a swing. What if I hurt myself.

"You'll be fine. Don't worry," Keith assured me. Okay, I'll do it then.

I nodded and he said "1,2,3 jump!"

I jumped off the swing and it felt like I was flying for a split second before I was falling. I forgot to break my fall, so when I landed on the ground, I fell on my foot.

"Owwwww!" I cried out, tears welling up in my eyes as I held my foot. It felt like I broke it, even though I have never broken a bone in life.

"Pidge! Are you okay?" Keith questioned, rushing to my side. He actually landed in a crouch, unlike me.

Keith gently cradled my foot in his foot after taking off my converse. He moved his hands around it, checking to make sure it wasn't badly damaged.

"Pidge, hey you didn't break anything. I think you just sprained your ankle," Keith said as he massaged my foot, making the pain go away slightly.

The tears in my eyes stopped falling as he continued to do some magic to my foot. A few minutes later, Keith got up while picking me up bridal style.

"H-hey, w-what are you doing?" I asked as Keith started walking to his bike, carrying me and my shoe in his hand.

"I am so sorry Pidge," Keith said, completely dismissing my question, " I didn't realize that you would fall. Please forgive me. I hurt my little Pidge."

"I-it's okay. I-I am just clumsy," I said, blushing at the fact that he called me his. This was the second time he did this. Does it mean something?

"Oh my god, Matt is going to kill me for getting you hurt. I literally told him a day ago that I wouldn't get you hurt and look where we are right now," Keith groaned, putting me in on the bike before going behind me.

"Why are you behind me?" I asked, confused.

"This will make sure you won't fall down. Your ankle still hurts, so I am not taking any chances."

I nodded and Keith started the travel to our houses. He was going slower than usual. Probably to make sure I wouldn't fall down. He was so sweet sometimes.

Once we reached our houses, I saw that Matt and Shiro were getting out of a car. They said bye to the driver and started walking into the house when they saw Keith and I.

"Hey guys!" They both shouted out as we approached them. Their smiles turned into one of confusion when they saw Keith carrying me with one of my feet shoeless.

"What happened to you Pidgeon?" Matt questioned.

"I-I,"

"She felt off a swing. I'm sorry, I didn't know she would. I understand if you are mad at me and if you don't want me to see her for sometime that is fine even though I am completely against the idea," Keith said as Matt's face turned from anger to concern.

"Let's put her on the couch and then talk," Matt said, holding his hands out to carry me. Keith just ignored that and continued to carry me to the door.

Once I was situated on the couch with an ice pack on my foot, Matt turned to Keith and said, "I am mad at you for breaking your promise from the other day but I appreciate that you helped my little sis. Don't worry about not being able to see her. Can I just talk to you in private about something?"

"S-sure,  Keith said, confused. As they went to a different room, Shiro sat next to me.

"Are you guys together yet?" He asked in all seriousness. My cheeks flamed red as I shook my head.

"D*mn, what is Keith doing with his life?" Shiro muttered under his breath. "Just to let you know, if he ever hurts you, you can tell me and, brother or not, I won't hesitate to give him a piece of my mind."

"Okay," I said. He was really going to do that for me?

We heard a door open and out came a satisfied looking Matt and a red faced Keith. What happened there to make bad boy Keith blush?

"Come on Shiro, let's go," Keith muttered, pulling his older with him.

"You are so telling me what happened at home," Shiro chuckled, obviously enjoying his brother's flustered state.

Once they brothers left, Matt turned to me and asked, "Do you like Keith?"

What is it with people thinking Keith and I liked each other? We have been friends for only two days!

"No, we are only friends," I said. Matt didn't believe me but didn't question me any further.

"You need anything for your foot?" Matt asked.

"Yeah, could you bring me my homework from my room? It's on my nightstand," I said, and Matt just sighed before going upstairs.

"Only you would do your homework when you could be watching TV or something," Matt said before disappearing in my room.

Oh, I totally forgot to search up what it means to be safe in two ways. I'll ask Matt. He'll probably know.

"Matt?" I shouted.

"Yeah?" Matt shouted back, and I could hear some rumbling. What was he doing?

"What does it mean to be safe in both ways?"

"I AM GOING TO KILL THAT BOY!"
