Chapter 7 The ex-boyfriend
Bradley Wilson Wilson's POV:
I broke up with my girlfriend, Lydia Elise Keller.
I never wanted to.
I felt I had no choice about the matter.
My father never approved of her, and my mother was long gone.
I mean, she skipped town when I was three. Father and I had not heard from mother since then.
I supposed this is where my father got his mistrust of the females from anyway.
I recalled how it was just before prom too.
I planned to take Lydia. Then, just like that my father, threw the bombshell at me.
I was either to dump my girl or be kicked out.
What other choice did I have?
I had nowhere else to go.
So I broke ties with my dear, sweet, lovely, Lydia.
To make matters worse she did not so well on her test.
It was the same day I told her the biggest lie ever.
It was the only way.
I sighed.
I remembered it like it was yesterday.
Today, I woke up and heard my father fuming.
I looked outside my bedroom window and saw it.
The police were at Keller's.
I thought, oh my goodness, what happened over there?
Is Lydia alright?
I literally freaked.
Today, was two days since the breakup and the police barraged in over there.
I only saw them because I live across the street with my father and his roommate.
I rolled my eyes at the notion of the roommate as she is some nosy lady.
Talk about Dad picking some bad taste in women.
I wished with all my heart I could make things right, with Lydia.
I only hoped I was not too late.
I recalled the police did seem anxious and MaryBeth rushing to and from the dumpster in a panic only moments before their arrival.
What was that all about anyway?
I shrugged my shoulders.
Perhaps, I would know soon enough.
I facepalmed myself.
Great, now I am starting to sound like that nosy woman, Wendy my father rents the spare bedroom too.
