Normal POV

"Is he asleep yet?" Damian asked Bruce. They had arrived home and Dick had went straight to his room to sleep. But that was the thing, he wouldn't go to sleep. It was nearly 2am! He was just sitting in his hole staring off into space.

"Nope, he still won't sleep." Bruce sighed. It was time to intervene. But Bruce had no idea what to do! But Damian did. So he stopped his father and went to Dick's room himself.

When he got upstairs and opened the door. Dick's breathing hitched and eyes widened. Damian slowed down. And put his hands in the air to show he was not a threat.

"Wanna watch a movie Grayson?" Damian asked in a very friendly tone. Dick relaxed and nodded his head. He stood up and followed his brother to the living room with the help of his crutches.

"How about Mary Poppins." Damian said as he slid the disk into the DVD player. He sat next to Dick who had his one good leg drew to his chest. He looked extremely tired but just wouldn't nod off.

Before Damian had gone to Dick's room he had asked Alfred to make his special hot chocolate. The one he made for after nightmares which helped them fall back asleep. (No there is no sleep agent in it) So when the movie began the Butler brought them out.

Dick leaned into his brother after he set his finished hot chocolate down. Damian could see he was just an inch away from sleep. He kept nodding off, but every time he did his head would pop back up with wide eyes. If their older brothers were around Damian wouldn't have done this. But he knew Dick needed one last push to send him into dreamland. So Damian put his hands in the younger's hair and started playing with it and just rubbing his scalp. And by the time the movie ended the bird was sound asleep.

Damian smiled down at his little brother. He grabbed a blanket that was on the other side of him and threw it over the avian. He slowly stood up and picked Dick up in his arms and walked him back upstairs. He set him on the floor, aware that he wouldn't want to sleep in the bed. He put the blanket over top of him and chuckled when the boy grabbed it and snuggled into its warmth. Damian slowly left the room, leaving the door cracked so some light could flood in.

The stone cold hero climbed into his bed. He was tired as well, it like 4am. Though Damian didn't show it very openly, he had grown brotherly feeling towards the ex-assassin. All the BatBoys had. So being able to help the avian take another step towards recovery let Damian sleep happily.
