I know I say this about all my friends, but TRULY, if you're not following Vic, why?? Fr?? She has some of the BEST Game of Thrones, AHS, & Twilight fanfics on her profile + a Finnick Odair, Dick Grayson, Kylo Ren (which will BLOW you away) & Battison fic?? I don't care if you're not in any of these fandoms or if you haven't seen any of these shows, do yourself a favor and READ & SUPPORT HER BOOKS because her writing is POETRY. Yes, to my Twitter family, this is the fucking edit I've been tweeting about for the past two (three?) days. To catch the rest of you up to date: THIS VIDEO EDIT FUCKING RUINED ME. THIS SHIT TOOK ME SEVEN STRAIGHT DAYS!! I STAYED UP UNTIL 4 AM FOR THE PAST FIVE DAYS BECAUSE I WAS SO INVESTED IN THIS!! Like, cutting the clips ALONE took 4 days because I had to go through all of AHS S8 and seasons 1 and 2 of FDTD to extract the clips of Michael Langdon and Madison Davenport. And for someone who has refused to watch AHS because I am the weakest bitch in the WORLD, it was a WHOLE experience.

So yes, Vic, your gift was originally supposed to be for a different fic (I'm not gonna say which one just in case I go back and make something for it, which I might!) But as I was revisiting some of the requests I got in my graphic lotto, I saw that you had filled out a form for Hungry Heart. And then, like two days later, I found the full-length logoless episodes for AHS & FDTD so I thought, what the hell, we're gonna do this instead.

AND LIKE. OKAY. LET'S RE-LIVE THIS EXPERIENCE TOGETHER, SHALL WE?? So the user who had posted S8 of AHS had their episodes removed like, two days before I decided to go in and start this edit?? So originally, I only had episodes 1, 4, 7 (which Cody isn't even in), and 9. AND THE LENGTHS I FUCKING WENT TO TRY TO GET THE OTHER FIVE EPISODES, LET ME FUCKING TELL YOU─ I found a Google Drive of the entire season but the quality wasn't very good?? But I was like, fuck it, if this is what it takes, I'm too far in to do anything else. But THEN, when I was trying to manipulate the edit at the end of the video (which took fucking FOREVER let me tell you!!) the quality of Michael's clip was so bad and it looked terrible?? So THEN, my dumb ass went and BOUGHT episode 2 on iTunes, not knowing that you can't fucking download videos as MP4 files because of copyright!! MY CLOWN ASS─ anyways. Literally, an hour later, I found another link with HD versions of the season, so THAT made me want to throw myself out a window. Thankfully, I got a refund for the episode, so it's all good now!!

Anyways, sorry for the rant! This was genuinely so much fun to make, I love getting lost in projects & I definitely got really engrossed in this one. I really hope everything is accurate! I skimmed through the book & through the show, so I think I chose clips that are relevant to your story's timeline? I tried distinguishing the first act (Michael with short hair) and the second act (Michael with long hair) through the color scheme?? So like, the first act clips are all muted colors or b&w, while the second act clips are darker & a little more vibrant?? Idk. ALSO, the fact that this is more than a minute long?? The fact that this is MORE THAN TWO MINUTES LONG?? Maybe I snapped, goddamn.
