It was the time of the morning, the birds were hovering in the sky. Sameer and Karan were standing in the cafe.

Karan: wo Muskan ki tabiyat theek nahi hai.

Sameer was shocked. He was looking at Karan.

Sameer: kya? Kya howa usay?

Karan: pata nahi, bus itna hi kaha ke low feel kar rahi hai aaj nahi ayegi.

Sameer: Ye larki bhi na. Zara apna dihan nahi rakhti.

Karan: tu us ke ghar ja sakta hai?

Sameer looked at her.

Karan: Aaj yahan inspection hona hai mera matlab expected hai to mera yahan rehna zarori hai warna main khud chala jata.

Sameer thinks.

Karan: Sameer, Priya ne bhi apna number change kar diya hai mera us se koi contact nahi hai aur jitna main Muskan ko janta hun wo kisi ko call nahi karegi. Maine bhi khud se call kiya. Kal pura din baat nahi hoi thi. Muskan bohat low sound kar rahi thi. Wo kahegi nahi lekin us ki awaz se pata chal raha tha ke wo theek nahi hai.

Sameer was looking at him. Sameer kept his hand on Karan's shoulder.

Sameer: tu bilkul stress mat le main jata hun.

Sameer nods.

Karan kept his hand on Sameer's shoulder and he nods. Sameer goes and Karan was worried for Muskan.

A car stopped outside the gate of the Rajput mansion. A security guard came to the car. Sameer pulled down the window. The security guard recognised Sameer and asked the guard to open the gate. Sameer was confused about why this much tight security all of a sudden. Sameer took his car inside and got down from the car. Sameer frowns to see the security. Sameer goes inside and looked here and there. A man was passing from there. He stopped to see Sameer. He came to Sameer and Sameer looked at him.

Man: Hello, sir.

Sameer: Hello. Muskan?

Man: wo apne room main hain. Un ki tabiyat theek nahi hai.

Sameer thinks.

Man: unho ne kaha hai ke un ke doston main se koi aye to unhe, un ke room main bhej den.

Sameer was looking at him.

Man: you can go there. Only Abhay Chauhan is not allowed.

Sameer frowns.

Sameer in mind: Abhay Chauhan? Kya ye wahi Abhay Chauhan hai?

Sameer thinks.

Sameer: Lekin Muskan us se kyun nahi milna chahe gi.

Man: Sir?

Sameer looked at him and then he nodded.

Sameer: ok.

The man goes. Sameer was looking at him. He hesitates to go to Muskan’s room. Sameer thinks.

On the other side, Muskan was laying on the bed. Her whole body was aching because of pain, especially her knees and head. She rubs her forehead and her eyes were closed.

Muskan: lagta hai aaj ye dard meri jaan le kar hi chorega.

Muskan heard a knock on the door. Muskan looked at the door. She wanted to get up and she tried but she did not have much strength so she threw herself back. She caught her head and she felt like horses are running in her head.

Muskan: come in.

No one come inside. Muskan looked at the door. Sameer was standing outside the room and was thinking. Sameer opened the door and looked up. He was shocked to see Muskan who was catching her head and squeezing her eyes. Sameer came inside. He stopped and was looking at Muskan.

Sameer: Muskan.

Muskan was surprised to hear the voice. She opened her eyes and turned her face. Sameer was standing there. Muskan was just looking at Sameer. She was not able to understand whether it is her imagination or Sameer is actually there.

Sameer hurriedly came to her and sat beside her. Muskan was looking at him. She was still catching her head.

Sameer caressed Muskan's forehead while saying: kya howa hai?

Sameer was shocked. He checked Muskan's forehead, neck and arm then he again checked her forehead.

Sameer: tumhe to bohat taiz fever hai

Muskan squeezed her eyes then she looked at Sameer who was looking at her.

Muskan: Tum sach main yahan ho?

Sameer frowns then he makes a face.

Sameer: nahi mera bhoot hai yahan.

Muskan squeezed her eyes.

Sameer: ajeeb pagal larki ho. Puri body fever se tap rahi hai aur tum ho ke... bata nahi sakti thi.

Muskan's eyes were closed.

Muskan: theek ho jaega.

Sameer got angry.

Sameer: kaise theek hoga ase bistar per pare, pare.

Sameer saw Muskan is continuously catching her head. Sameer thought to calm himself.

Sameer: acha batao kuch khaya hai? Breakfast wagera kuch kiya hai? Medicine li hai.

Muskan opened her eyes and looked at Sameer. She thinks. Sameer understand.

Sameer warned Muskan: jhoot nahi.

Muskan looked at him by making an innocent face. Sameer understood and makes a face. Muskan shook her head. Sameer got angry.

Sameer: main chahta hun tum per gussa na karun lekin tum harkatain hi asi karti ho.

Muskan makes a pout.

Sameer: chalo doctor ke pass chalte hain.

Muskan: main theek hun. Doctor uncle se baat ho gai thi meri unho ne medicine send ki hain.

Sameer: aur tum ne li nahi?

Muskan makes a sad pout.

Sameer: very good, excellent, marvellous. Clap for you.

Muskan makes a crying face.

Muskan: mujhe medicines se dar lagta hai.

Sameer was surprised. He smiled.

Sameer: kya?

Muskan nods.

Muskan: mujhe dar lagta hai kahin ek hi medicine do baar le li to... main medicine phobic hon.

Sameer shook his head.

Sameer: tumhara kuch nahi ho sakta. Duniya ka athwa ajooba tum ho.

Muskan makes a sad face. Sameer smiled. Muskan slightly smiled.

Sameer: main tumhare liye khane ko kuch lata hun. Tum pehle breakfast karogi phir medicine logi.

Muskan makes a sad pout.

Sameer: Ye emotional blackmailing nahi chalne wali. Medicine leni paregi and don't worry koi tablet do baar nahi khaogi main medicine dunga tumhe.

Muskan was looking at Sameer then they smiled.

Sameer: pagal.

Muskan felt her head is aching. She closed her eyes and caught her head.

Sameer: main abhi aya.

Muskan looked at Sameer and was holding her head.

Sameer: Tum uthna nahi yahan se.

Sameer goes and Muskan was looking at him. She thinks and smiled but then she squeezed her eyes because of pain.

Muskan was waiting for Sameer. She looked at the time.

Muskan: yeh Sameer kahan reh gaya?

Muskan was shocked.

Muskan: kahin wo khud hi to kuch banane nahi lag gaya... oh God, ye Sameer bhi na.

Muskan tried to get up and she heard the knock on the door then she looked there then Sameer came with a tray and a bowl was placed in it.

Sameer: hmm (Sameer said while placing the trap on the side table) here is your soup.

Muskan smiled. She tried to get up and Sameer bended and he gave her support by holding Muskan's shoulder from her back and automatically Muskan's hand came up as her brain caught the signal and Sameer holds Muskan's hand. Muskan looked at Sameer whose focus was in helping her. Muskan was looking at Sameer who looked at her and their eyes locked. They were looking into the eyes of each other and Sameer was holding Muskan hand and shoulder. Muskan was holding his arm. They were lost.
