Shivaay gave a nod , then both annika and he stepped down the car and made way towards the big mansion centered at lotus garden township .

Decorated lights , flowers, the mansion looked lively and colorful. Girls of every age scattered here and there , each one doing their own chores . Some of them started oggling at shivaay who marched straight along with annika . He maintained a stiff sight which was fixed just straight, at the person who remained seated on the couch ,centering the hall . The boss lady , she seemed .

She recieved shivaay with a glittery smile and passed a weird look at annika . Soon a number of girls gathered around the couch , seeking some attention from Shivaay's side.

At once the other girls scattered out ,back to their rooms in disappointment.

She mentioned the last few words in a husky tone and passed the card back to him.

At once both stood up to move upstairs but the lady blocked annika's way .

' whoa whoa Leena's not into girls sweety , you have to wait . I'll call the group .'

Shivaay who was halfway upstairs stopped and looked back at her , she just signalled him to go on . He hesitated once but she demanded him to leave .

He knocked the door once and waited, within a few seconds someone opened it .

She stopped ranting after witnessing shivaay infront by the door , there was a cute smile on her face while she scanned him right from head to toe.

S- leena ?

L- come .

She quickly grabbed his hand and dragged him inside. Shivaay immediately resisted and pulled his hand back . Leena stared at him weirdly before latching the door .

L - first time ? Don't worry , I'll help you .

Singing these words she inched close to him for he kept moving back .

S- see Ms. Leena , I need your help.

' come I'll take you to the girls '

A- wait, I, I need to use the washroom .

She pushed him on the bed and leaned over him , shivaay rolled over to the other side before she could reach him and that's when they heard a knock.

She muttered in frustration and walked to the door . Annika took a minute to stare at him after witnessing the girl wearing just an inner and skirt . Shivaay immediately jumped down from the bed and corrected himself.

L- who are you , New here ?

Annika didn't mind her question, she barged in straight and started arranging her things on the bed . Shivaay ran and locked the door immediately.

A- Leena I want you to be honest , did you have sex last night ?

Leena was confused, she grabbed his hand immediately.

He noticed annika who was busy with her stuffs before pulling his hand back again .

She kept protesting, shivaay just screamed the truth at one point to grab her attention and convince her . Leena stopped near the door and looked back at him in shock.

Leena didn't argue after that, she went and sat on the bed quietly . By then annika was ready with a syringe, she tapped her fingers on Leena's arm and scanned for a thick artery .

She hissed in pain and gripped his hand tightly when the needle pierced her skin . Shivaay didn't oppose this time, he remained calm , lending some support.

L - what if I'm infected ?

A- we'll know in a few minutes .

Annika stated this and carried on with examining the blood , conducting test cases with the solutions she had . Leena seemed horrified after watching everything. Shivaay noticed this and spoke to divert her .

S- we'll keep you safe , don't worry .

She smiled faintly on hearing his stern voice .

L- you're a cop .

He was surprised first , but chose not to say anything .

A- you have to come with us .

Leena had immediate tears in her eyes when annika declared this holding the test tubes in her hand . Shivaay didn't look ok , he somewhere expected a clear her .

S- you're sure , you didn't bring microscope or something?

A- to get caught immediately ? Come on shivaay , preliminary test is positive, better get your things and come with us leena.

L - where !

A- somewhere safe, you being out here like this is not good . I guess you already have some symptoms.

L - I don't know , I had mild fever this morning, but I feel ok now , after taking the medicine. You ...please tell her I'm ok .

She pleaded with shivaay .

A- there's no time for all this , quick leena . Stop crying now, you being here is dangerous.

S- annika will you for once be a little considerate ! Stop acting like a machine . You realize how scary this must be for her ? You can't feel her pain , then just be quiet atleast , I don't know how you even became a doctor.

He shouted at her , annika gritted her teeth and looked away . He then turned towards leena and spoke.

S- we will be taking you to a quarters where you'll be isolated, we'll do no harm .

L - is there a cure , or will I die too ?

Annika just shook her head in disbelief and rushed out from there . Shivaay felt kind of helpless , he didn't know what to tell her .

S- nothing will happen to you Ms . Leena .

A- is Imraan held here ?

R- yeah , this is the nation's special quaters . He's kept under medication . I already spoke to the team about Leena , we can keep her here .

S- but leena hasn't shown aggression yet , ask them to not use any force on her . An isolated space is enough.

By then two officers with loaded weapons came there .

Shivaay turned back and looked at Leena who stood quiet at a distance away from them . She looked extremely petrified by the environment which looked no less than a military town . Tall walls and room blocks . Shivaay stopped the guys when they approached her .

S- wait , I'll bring her .

He said this and walked towards Leena .

S- shall we ?

She jerked a bit on hearing his voice suddenly.

L - hmm ? Yeah yeah.

She muttered this slowly and walked along with him towards the group.

R- let's hope she didn't.

Om - but what if ?

A- I'll ask .

Leena was ready to go with the guards but annika stopped her .

A- leena .

L- hmm?

A- did you sleep with anyone else after , I mean did you meet anyone else after the doctor's visit ?

Shivaay was intimidated, he watched Leena's face curiously who soon held her head in dejection . Her reaction said it all .

L - it was this morning, I don't know his name or address. But you can see him at the lake road every night I mean early morning . He'll be waiting , he's regular actually.

She kept thinking for a while .

She chuckled at the way he behaved , maybe he feels shy , she thought .

He nodded .

He kept his gaze fixed down throughout , when he slowly wandered it around anika she was found busy talking to Om and Rudra . Leena chuckled seeing his stern yet innocent face .

Shivaay held back and remained stiff while she came close . He resisted and stepped back when she tried kissing him .

Her voice broke when she pleaded , but shivaay shook his head and moved back . This time she acted even quick and grabbed him to leave a light peck on his cheek .

She released him and left from there immediately . He watched her retreating figure in pity , he wished no harm for her .

S- really,This is your masterplan ?

Om - shivaay , he might think it's a raid and escape if we approach him .

R- we're going to be very close to angel , don't worry she'll be safe .

R- you weren't? Sorry I thought you were .

Shivaay glared hard at him , he was going to say something but his mind was diverted by noise of the door knob . She came out from the room wearing a bright red saree, seemingly exposive. Shivaay couldn't actually take his eyes off her while she was busy adjusting her hair and accessories.

R- wow ! You look so ho

Rudra shut down his entire vocal system when he felt shivaay turning his red eyes at him instantly.

R- I mean the pizza's still hot , come and have some.

Annika sat beside him and collected a slice from the box .

A- sure thanks , I was craving .

She then noticed an idle shivaay who didn't say anything neither ate anything . She nudged Rudra's shoulder.

A- he doesn't approve, does he ?

Rudra gave a nod .

Om - annika we'll be waiting at the street end , near the lamp post .

A- got it.

And suddenly she choked and started coughing badly, Om fed her a glass of water and rubbed her back .

R- you're ok ?

A- yeah .

S- you're really , going to do this ?

A- relax , I'm not going to sleep with him for real .

He was irked with her answer , stomping the ground hard this time he stood up immediately.

She opened the kit for the nth time and applied some lipstick , while looking at the mini mirror .

He looked at her immediately on hearing Rudra's concerned voice but it was a play . Shivaay understood and glared at him .

He looked everywhere in those few seconds and finally landed his sight upon her . There was an automatic smile on his face after sometime . She wanted to look bold out there but deep inside he clearly read her struggles. She kept settling her hair properly so that it covers her bare back , she kept wetting her lips in nervousness and that's the reason for her every 2 minutes touch up routine . Howmuchever brave and bright she behaved from outside , shivaay could still see in through her and capture the little nerd he grew up with .

R- looks like you got something !

He sang in excitement ,shivaay immediately blinked out and turned shaking his head .

' hey beautiful!'

She was annoyed , this is the 3rd man now . He seemed fully drunk, he came dancing all the way till her and tried holding her hand . Passing a seductive smile , she started to pretend .

A- hi .

' shall we go then ?'

A- sorry love , waiting for someone.

Om- something seems wrong .

S- no worries , she told she can take care of herself. She was stubborn, let her deal with it .

He didn't agree and grabbed her hand harshly.

Annika gulped in and tried to come out of his hold.

A- it's just gonna be 2 hours if today, but tomorrow I'm completely free . I've got ample time for you ,what do you say honey .

She spoke running her fingers on his shirt and he melted .

Annika breathed out a sigh and shook her head when he left finally.

Om - looks like she tricked him somehow .

Shivaay couldn't stand the sight anymore , he hurried to sit inside the car and slammed the door hard .

Soon a white Honda city approached the road , annika was ready .

R- annika had sedated him already when she captured him, so don't use any drugs on him as of now . Inform us once he wakes up .

R- I just hope atleast he knows how to use a condom.

Rudra sighed huge mentioning this for Om chuckled smacking his head .

The both kept conversing in low mutters while shivaay looked here and there , searching.

Shivaay nodded and walked out to make it upstairs , it was quiet long since they had returned . He wanted to check .

And he was soon alarmed after noticing blood stains on the way . He ran towards the restroom . Red patches on the door knob stole the ground beneath his feet , he got scared . He kicked the door hard and barged inside shouting her name .

S- annika ! Annik

He paused after seeing her there ,standing infront of the mirror . She who didn't expect him here suddenly, jolted back a bit . She then turned the other side and started wiping her face.

A- can't I even wash my face in freedom , ladies washroom this is . Get out shivaay !

He didn't stop until he was just behind her. Suction sound was loud , he looked at the basin for his whole system collapsed by the sight in there . Water painted like blood was being sucked in .

A- have some manners will you !

Shivaay didn't wait after that , she resisted much but he somehow caught hold of her neck and made her face him.

He almost stopped breathing after when he saw what he saw . And she could no more look into his eyes, she looked away for those fresh tears started running down her eyes continously to mix with the blood coming out of her nose and mouth . A complete mess , her face looked . Shivaay couldn't move an inch ,he remained frozen , holding her face against his's.

She wiped again and again but the bleeding wouldn't stop . Annika struggled to free herself but he didn't give up . She then stopped trying.

Within the next few seconds , she felt completely drained out . Her legs didn't hold up . She stumbled to fall back , he sat holding her on his lap . She cried watching his traumatized face and cupped his chin .

He clearly noticed those nail marks on her wrist which she had somehow kept concealed all these days. At once it struck him , annika is the very first victim. He remembered veer's attack on her when they visited the basement , he had harmed her wrist .

S- no !

His voice broke as he cried shaking his head , why didn't he realize this before ! She immediately palmed his cheek .

A- it's ok , it's ok.

More blood oozed out from her mouth as she spoke, shivaay was completely horror stricken by this . He kept wiping the blood on her face and neck . She struggled to keep her eyes open , and her breathing rate became uneven . Shivaay was scared to death on seeing her struggle , his tears remained unstoppable.

A- your eyes are very beautiful , only I have.... the right to say it to you , yes ?

S- stop talking you damn it !

He screamed and tried carrying her but she pressed down and resisted .

A- yes ...or no?

She seemed desperate.

S- yes !

He announced and tried carrying her but he couldn't, with one arm . Still he didn't give up , he strapped off the patch and gathered his strength. It felt impossible, pain was worse, he did it somehow though .

But soon when her arms which clung around him all this time fell back in air , shivaay felt those chills . He slowly moved his eyes towards her face , she wasn't awake , her head was down .

S- annika !!
