Tej grew enraged on coming to know they have escaped.

T- urgh!!!

He gritted his teeth and behaved insane , throwing and breaking all the stuffs kept on the table . Vrushali and Sharon who stood at the corner breathed a sigh of relief . Ofcourse they didn't want them dead .

T- how did they go out , How did this happen !!

The girls shivered on hearing him scream like that .

Sh- may maybe they broke their way out .

She almost whispered, Tej shouted to interrupt her .

T- that is impossible! Something, something has happened in between . How did they get access to the guns .

Sharon was covered with sweat by then , she tried to move but her trembling legs wouldn't help her .

T- this is not good , my son is not safe here anymore . I've got to make the arrangements.

V- you spoke to him last night ?

Om- no.

V- come on man , room mates you both are .

Om - not when his parents visit , he stays at his home here in those days . Maybe he really left with them this time.

Veer glared at him immediately.

V- he would've told us if that's the case .

Om - yeah , a goodbye would have been nice.

Both spoke watching the entrance of the class eagerly .

V- you think he wants to study abroad ?

Om - I don't know , but I do know their parents would want that . They insist him every year .

V- and he disapproves every year .

Om- the second bell is over too, and he's not here yet . What do I do ? Ask annika maybe she knows .

Om commented seeing annika who was seated on the first bench , she was reading something holding her book straight to her face. Veer rolled his eyes watching that .

By then the teacher entered in and all the students stood up to wish her .

Annika's bench mate saw her hand fisted up tight, and spoke . She hardly even acknowledged it , she just remained quiet, staring at nothing but the board now .

V- looks like this time his parents did convince him somehow .

Om - oh god , I don't know who my new roommate would be . How he would be , I hope he's manageable.

Veer shook his head in disbelief while Om blabbered .

V - is that all you worry of ? Our friend is gone man .

Om and Veer looked at each other showing their sad faces to one another.

' can I have the absentees list , annika , have you got that?'

A- yes mam .

S- excuse me mam?

Veer and Om grinned showing actions for shivaay who was standing by the door . Their joy was something else .

' latecomers stand out in my class '

Shivaay sighed huge and dropped his bag on the floor , if I'm going to stand for a full period , let me have some ease atleast , he decided .

He then noticed his friends waving their hands for him , he acknowledged it happily.

A- yeah one second mam.

She immediately sat back and erased his name from the sheet before giving the list to the teacher.

That's when her friend noticed something on her palm when she had finally released her fist .

' annika you're bleeding , I told you not to do it . See , your nails ..

A- it's nothing.

She spoke bluntly and wrapped an handkerchief around her palm . Then the teacher started reciting the notes for them.
Annika was taking down the content quietly.

' annika '

A- what now Reema ?

' not me , he asked to '

She shook her head and pointed her finger towards the door for annika followed the direction to see shivaay waving a ' hi ' for her. Annika just stared at him while he winked and smiled . She then sighed huge and continued writing without reacting much .

' your hand is bleeding '

Annika blinked suddenly and looked aside at the nurse who alarmed her.

A- hmm?

' your palm '

She immediately released her tightened fist and saw those nail marks etched on her skin with blood patches everywhere .

A- I'm ok ... Did you check his SpO2 count today , yesterday itself he had a short hypovolemic attack.

' yeah , we're constantly taking it down . But since he's lost more blood , we're afraid he might have another attack too '

A- his body is not in the condition to hold up for it .

' exactly , we're doing our best don't worry . Let me take you to your ward now, you shouldn't be walking much '

The nurse supported her to walk while she kept her gaze fixed at the ICU until it fell off her sight .

Om came and grabbed her hand when she came in with the nurse . He helped her till the bed , and sat back on the stool . Rudra who was lying on the bed , sat up slowly.

R- how is he?

A- still unconscious , we can't stay here for long . If Dr.Trivedi knows

Om - he won't, even if he does he can't do anything . This hospital comes under the department's organization .

A- let's hope . The commissioner...?

Om- yeah , he has taken a squad . They're headed right to the Trivedi hospital .

A- come on Om , we don't know what we're against. Squad? Didn't I ask you to reach up to the defence minister ? I thought the commissioner would help .

Om- it's a big procedure annika , we can't directly approach him like that . Not with just a few transaction files and mere photo clippings . And your fa I mean Dr.Tej being a big shot in the society, it's not very easy to bring him down with these accusations. All our hardwork till now was to bring the commissioner and DIG into the play atleast .

R- and that itself has sucked half our lives , god knows what will be left of us when we finally bring this to the defense system .

A- this is not a joke Rudra . Veer ...he , he can be anything.

The boys looked at each other seriously while she spoke with much of fear in her voice .

Tej transferred Veer into a big compartment truck and prepared to leave . He knew if annika's alive, she's not gonna stop . And for now , changing his location is what meant right to him . He locked the compartment and walked across to get into the truck . But soon he was thrilled on hearing the siren noise which came from very close , like the jeep had already entered the base parking area .

T- shit !!

He stomped the ground hard on seeing the vehicle arrive and stand by just ahead of the truck . The commissioner with a few more cops stepped down the jeep and walked upto Tej .

' Hello Doctor , I'm Imran , City commissioner...what happened to your hand? '

He questioned seeing his patched up arm.

T- nothing just a small accident.

Tej shaked hands with him nervously.

I- ok. Actually we've got a search warrant for your hospital.

T- uhh hospital ? My hospital , why ?

He tried to pretend innocent .

I- we have recieved information about some illegal experiments you're carrying on in your secret lab .

T- wha what ...secret lab ? This is insane. I ,I'll just make a call to the CM first

He took his mobile out which Imran grabbed immediately.

I - sorry sir , you can't . Once we're done with the search , then you can get back your phone. Ranjit , take the team and go to his cabin , look for any elevator kind of thing hidden up there . Call me once you find it , I'll start from here , they mentioned it has got another entrance here .

' yes sir '

T- excuse me ! Just because you have a warrant doesn't mean you can invade like this .

Tej was palpitating , well , if they find out his armed weapons and everything inside , he's gone .

I- please cooperate, it's our duty. But before that , may I take a look inside this truck . What's in it ?

T- it's...it's just some medicines. Come on , I'm running a medical institution here, can't I own a truck for God's sake !

I- very well you can , I'm just asking you to show me once .

Tej remained quiet, he thought for sometime.

T- ok .

He passed the keys to him .

I- such big lock for medicines ?

He asked while unlocking it and Tej smirked .

It seemed dark inside the compartment, he couldn't actually see anything. For some reasons , he even kept his pistol ready . He opened the doors wide so that some light enters in , and slowly peeped.Suddenly Tej pushed him from behind and banged his palm on the truck's wall to make much noise .

I- Dr!! Dr what the hell!!

Tej immediately tried to lock the doors with him inside. Imran immediately fetched his mobile and used the torch light, as soon as the flash light came on he saw a mighty toned figure rushing to grab him.

I- ahh!!

Here Tej was finding it too difficult to lock with one hand , that big lock. Gun shots were heard continuously along with Imran's screams .

He was done almost when suddenly there was a hard push from the other side for Tej lost his grip and fell down .

The door opened up and imran jumped down from the compartment . His state was horrible , torn clothes, bruise marks everywhere. Even his hair looked like a bunch plucked here and there . His breathing movement seemed very fast , he ran from there afar and asked for backup from his team through the walkie talkie he carried.

He wriggled and shivered on hearing a frightening roar from inside the truck.

Tej got up and immediately locked the door. He then tried to grab Imran from behind who jolted off and pushed him away .

The shooting noise and everything would've caught people's attention, the crowd might be here anytime. He should leave, Tej decided to run and grab the wheels.

By the time the cops could reach there , he accelerated and rode the truck , smashing the hell out of the police jeep which stood by his way .

' Alert all the check posts now , he's carrying something dangerous !'

' ok sir '

Imran punched the wall in frustration, he knew even if he had stood infront of the truck and blocked him , he'd have been dead by now . Something out of control and an unimaginable disaster is coming up for the city , he somewhere realized . That monster like creature he fought was inevitable. Even a bullet couldn't do anything , Imran felt his skin growing chill even by the thought of it.

Om - can we see him now atleast ?

Om asked being pissed off with the nurse who was so strict.

' I should ask the chief doctor '

Om- ask him then !

' but he's busy treating the commissioner '

They were intimidated suddenly on hearing this .

A- Commissioner?

' yes , there was an incident at the...I think Trivedi hospital. He has been attacked brutally .'

They looked at one another with terrified faces . And soon they all rushed to see him .

Imran signaled them to enter inside on seeing them standing outside the ward.

Everyone were shocked on watching his terrible state .

R- Sir , how did this ....

I- I saw what you saw , he's not what we all think he is ...he's a beast .

They could actually feel how frightened he was .

A- but what happened , how !

I- we don't have the time for all this , I've approached the nation's defense team . And the CM is informed about this too . Once we get the approval , I'm going to hunt them down .

' don't strain yourself , it's not appreciable '

I- yeah , and doctor what about shivaay ?

' he should have come up by now , but he hasn't responded still . '

Annika who stood near them noticed something .

She stopped when he stood up , still talking to the doctor. He couldn't pay attention to her as he was in a serious discussion and she just shrugged off thinking to talk later .

I- yeah thank you, it's because I have to report his exact condition to the minister. Everyone involved in this case are crucial.

' yes hypovolemic attack happens when our blood is devoid of enough oxygen in it . But he's ok now'

He stopped speaking after seeing Imran rubbing his eyes like anything, so desperate , he seemed.

' Sir ...Imran sir ...? Are you alright ?'

The doctor neared and touched his hand with which Imran was smashing his eyes . But as soon as he felt his touch, he kicked and pushed him away.

The doctor landed on the floor , he crushed his eyes in pain and helped himself up slowly. And soon his face remained horrified when he saw Imran.

' my god !'

Blood, from eyes , nose mouth and ears . He looked a complete terror for the doctor remained shook in fear .

' sir ...Imran sir...sir are you ok?'

The doctor neared him slowly, he could actually hear his own breathing.

' s...sir ?'

Within no time Imran caught his arm and bent it backwards for his elbow bone broke at once.

' ahh !!!! '

He then tried to catch his neck but the doctor immediately poked him with the forceps he had in his pocket . Imran was vulnerable but he still tried to grab the doctor who made use of the chance and locked him inside the restroom there before running outside .

'Help !! Help !'

He shouted and ran from there like anything, holding his broken arm . People gathered around him soon .

' call the police ! Call the police!'

Om - what happened Doctor , who did this to you ?

Annika cringed seeing how his hand was actually folded up backwards , that would hurt like death .

' the commissioner, Imran !! He he's not ok...he's not normal !'

He cried out in pain while the others were baffled totally.

R- you mean he did this to you?

'Yes !'

A- where's he now ?

' I locked him up inside the washroom '

They couldn't understand anything what he was trying to say .

' he's an animal , infected ...! He's dangerous !'

Soon annika realized something and stepped infront to grab his attention .

A- wait a minute , you both went to visit shivaay right ?

' yes '

She turned her head slowly towards Om who was already staring at her in terror .
