A cold sweat runs down Izuku's spine when he hears that statement from Bakugou. His eyes quickly dart down to the large, seemingly cumbersome gauntlets that Bakugou has on his wrists. An evil smile presses wider on bakugou's face as he sees Izuku piece together what is going to happen.

"I'm sure you know better than anyone else how my quirk works." He says, this statement causes Izuku's blood to now run cold. "These gauntlets are specially made to collect all that explosive sweat I produce from my hands. And I bet you know exactly what happens when there's a lot of it." Clenching his fists, Izuku quickly let's out the max amount of his power he can to not allow Bakugou to use the gauntlets.

Before Bakugou can pull the pin, Izuku vanishes in a flash of green electricity moving so fast it creates a sonic boom that blows out all of the windows on the block. A collision that feels like it has enough force to rip him in half collides with Bakugou's stomach as the fist of Izuku follows through with the punch and sends him to the other side of the hallway. The cement wall crumbles from the impact of Bakugou, dazing the explosion user temporarily. His vision blurry from the impact of his head on the wall. Reaching up, he rips back the lever of his gauntlet revealing the pin once more before All Might's voice echoes through the facility.

"Bakugou don't use that blast in doors you might kill him!" All Might shouts,, Katsuki, Iida, Izuku and Ochako grimace from the volume of the older man's voice through their headsets.

"He won't die as long as he dodges!" Katsuki retorts, ripping the pin out of the grenade gauntlet. A small hole where the lever connects to the body of the gauntlet glows bright yellow before the light increases in intensity and size.

The blast fires down the hallway faster than Izuku could react to counter it, the shockwave hitting Izuku first. The force of the explosion breaks his gauntlets and the heat burns the front of his hero suit. In a split second reaction, Izuku covers his face with his arms crossed in front of him. As the fire engulfs him, he channels One for All at his max power. From the crossed position of his arms he quickly moves them under his sides. Throwing his hands away from his body he creates a air force shockwave and erases the massive blast from Bakugou. The force of the shockwave destroyed the entire floor blasting out all the concrete from the walls leaving the steel I beams holding up the floors above him. As the dust and smoke clears Bakugou sees Izuku standing, his chest and arms severely burned from the blast. His muscles drip with blood, burns and sweat as he breathes heavily, finally getting some air in his system.

"WHY WONT YOU DIE!?!?" Bakugou shouts whipping around his other gauntlet and charging a second gauntlet attack. His eyes widen when he hears All Might's voice again through his communicator.

"You fire off that attack one more time you fail this exercise." All Might says sternly, Bakugou scoffs hearing this and turns his eyes back to Izuku.

"Useless quirkless freak. I'll make you wish you died in that fir-" Bakugou is cut off by a punch to the jaw sending him flying into a metal support beam. The impact creates the loud bang of a gong leaving an impression of Bakugou in the steel. He passes out shortly after from the force of the impact.

Izuku huffs from that punch, Damn did it feel good to punch that bastard in the face. He flicks the blood of his knuckles before collapsing to one knee. Out of breath he continues to pant trying to regain his composure. Taking a deep breath and calming his mind, he stands up straight and heads up the stairs of the building to follow where Ochako had gone when the battle started. He doesn't notice his arm bruised and bloodied from an all out attack from One for All. The others look on in shock of what had happened, most of them unable to form words.

"What kind of quirk damages the user to that extent?" Tokoyami says looking at the arm that was damaged by the backlash of One for all.

"I'm not sure, but the amount of adrenalyn in his system is the only thing keeping him from feeling those nasty burns, some of them have already blistered over meaning they could be up to third degree burns over his body. I believe you should call an end to this exercise All Might." Yaoyorozu reasons, tugging on the cape of the number one hero.

"Though that may be the case, there will be times where you still have to battle an opponent even when your body is at its absolute limits. That is where your limits are broken and what it means to go plus ultra is born. Young Midoriya will be tended to by Recovery Girl and I will be disciplining Bakugou over his actions." All Might explains, a few of them swallow a lump of fear in their throats.

As Izuku creates the shockwave that disperses the explosion, Ochako and Iida are recovering from the massive blast that shook the building. Iida had actually fallen over from what felt like an earthquake that had shaken the building. Thinking quickly, Ochako makes herself weightless and starts floating over the ground in case there was a second tremor. She was right, the shockwave Izuku creates shakes the building down to the foundation, cracking the walls inside the room she is in. Iida stumbles due to the shaking and falls down as some of the walls crumble apart and fall on him. Taking this opportunity Ochako quickly floats over to the bomb and grabs it, hugging the weapon with her whole body.

"HERO TEAM WIIIIIIINNNNNSSSSS!!!!!" All Might shouts through the intercoms of the facility. Ochako quickly rushes to help Iida with the rubble that had fallen on him. "Midoriya, Uraraka, Iida and Bakugou, return to the observation room."

"You alright Iida?" Ochako asks helping him up from the floor.

"Y-yeah, just a bit worse for wear. As best as you can be after having a wall fall on you." He responds painfully stretching his back.

"I didn't know Deku-kun and Bakugou would have that big of a fight, we should probably go help them to the observation room." Ochako reasons, she helps Iida to his feet before the two start walking down the stairs.

"I believe we may need to take them to the nurse instead Uraraka, that blast destroyed parts of the building." Iida says pointing out the window at all the debris that had showered the streets below.

"I hope Deku-kun is ok, He was my partner in this and I had to leave him to fight you." Ochako says as she quickly rushes downstairs to go find Izuku. "OH MY GOD!!!" She screams seeing him, slightly blushing from seeing him shirtless.

Izuku is propped up against the side of the wall walking towards the stairs Ochako is coming down from. He is covered head to toe on scrapes, burns and cuts, his hero suit had been practically vaporised leaving some tattered shorts remaining of the pants he was wearing. The fabric of the gloves had been melted onto his hands. His mask hanging by a thread off the side of his face and the remaining articles of clothing were torn and scorched. His right arm, that had been the one to punch Bakugou full power, was scared purple and broken from the shier power.

"Deku! What happened?!" Ochako says shocked seeing the condition of her friend.

"Heh, you should see the other guy." He says in a confident tone before collapsing in Ochako's arms. Her face blushing even more from touching his muscles.

"Make him weightless, I'll go find Bakugou or, what's left of him considering that's the shape Midoriya was left in." Iida says rushing off to go find Bakugou.

With the class:

"Who can tell me who the MVP is of this match?" All Might says looking around the students for any raised hands. "Yaoyorozu," he says pointing at the black haired and silver eyed woman.

"Midoriya and Iida are contenders for that one sir, but it is hard to decide who is the real one in this scenario. During the skirmish between Bakugou and Midoriya, Iida successfully help off Uraraka and removed anything from the room that she could make weightless. That being said, Midoriya successfully took down both opponents and even dispersed a super attack from Bakugou that should not have been used indoors. Had it not been for the evolution we went through to develop quirks, both Bakugou and Midoriya would have died in that explosion in the enclosed space. Midoriya's quick thinking and use of his quirk prevented the building from taking severe damage of having it's support beams melted and destroyed. Though the damage it caused in the shockwave was extensive it did not damage the support structure or support beams of the building." Yaoyorozu explains as the class watches a montage of the fight on both fronts.

"Excellent observation skills Young Yaoyorozu. Yes, there are two MVPs of this match both Midoriya and Iida in this case. One thing that you did not point out however is Midoriya prioritising the safety of his partner and keeping her away from a battle she could not win." All Might explains before opening the door to the observation room. "I have to tend to their wounds, we will continue after I take them to the nurses office." All Might excuses himself from the room and rushes to Deku and Bakugou bringing them to Recovery Girl.

"Well that was interesting, did either of you hear what Midoriya and Bakugou were talking about?" Momo asks as Ochako and Iida make it back to the observation room, Kirishima hands them both a bottle of water as they have a seat.

"I heard Bakugou through my intercom accuse Midoriya of being the successor of All Might even claiming that he was quirkless in the past." Iida says taking the communicator out of his ear and increasing the volume before playing the recording.

"I've figured out where you got that pesky quirk from Deku! It was the same day All Might saved me from that sludge freak! He gave you One for All didn't he?!" Baugous voice is heard from the earpiece causing the others to go quiet.

"I don't think Bakugou is a liar, though we don't have any evidence upholding this claim it isn't out of the realm of possibility just yet. What did Midoriya say in response, Uraraka?" Todoroki asks causing Ochako to remove her earpiece and play the recording.

"You're the one who met All Might that day Kacchan. Not me. He probably gave it to you so why don't you show me if you've got it. Because I don't." Once again they go silent, pondering as to what they are saying.

"I don't believe that Midoriya is capable of lying, but with how much of a national treasure that quirk is, All Might and his successor may be trying to return it to secrecy. The only evidence we have is word of mouth and I do not believe that either of them could be the successor. We will just have to wait and see, Midoriya's quirk is similar but isn't nearly as strong as All Might's is. Granted there are some striking similarities." Todoroki reasons pinching his chin in thought,

"Regardless if Midoriya does or doesn't have it, I think we should try to keep this a secret If he does. We don't need a media storm here at UA and Midoriya deserves a chance to be a hero as much as we do." Ochako says still slightly blushing from her contact with his muscles.

"You might just be saying that because mister muscles stole your first kiss and you're in Love~" Mina teases, Ochako's face turns a bright red before she covers it with her hands and starts floating around the room.
