As everyone was having a conversation with Mobious, Knuckles stood at the corner, watching his every move. "What is he planning," he thought.

"Knuckles, what's wrong?" Vector asked. Knuckles jumped, startled by the suprise.

"Oh, it's you," Knuckles said, relieved.

"Sorry, I just want to know if anything is going on in that noggin," Vector told him, rubbing his hand on his head.

"It's Mobious, he doesn't seem right to me," Knuckles told him.

"It did seem weird that Eggman would want to bring someone like him to this world," he agreed. They watched him as he laughed, and looked at the two with a devilish grin.

"Yep, definitely up to something," Knuckles concluded. Whatever he was up to, it was not good.

"So, you're saying that you came here with a purpose," Silver said. Mobious nodded, and Silver raised an eyebrow, and walked off. "Hey guys, is it just me, or does he seem a bit weird."

Knuckles went up to him, and whispered in his ear,"He seems to already know what he's doing, and I don't like it." He backed away from Silver, and Silver looked back at Mobious. He looked very familiar, but he couldn't lay a finger on it. He seemed as though he was manipulating them. Epsio and Charmy left from the crowd, and looked at the three.

Espio was just about to say,"Does he feel a little suspicious," when they interrupted him.

"Yes," they said. Mobiuos looked at the group, He smiled, how easy he thought this is gonna be.

"So, anywhere I could stay at for now," Mobious asked. They smiled, delightfully bringing them to a hut, Shadow's hut.

"Wait a minute guys, we don't even know him, and we need to find out how to bring back Shadow," Espio said. They all shrugged, and showed Mobious Shadow's hut. Knuckles started grinding his teeth.

"Whatever he's planning, we need to stop him," Knuckles said. Soon, Knuckles heard the sound of a helicopter, it was Sonic and Tails.

"Knuckles, you guys okay, we saw the explosion, everything alright," Sonic said. Knuckles looked at the hut Mobious was at.

"What's in there Knuckles?" Tails asked.

"I want you two to stay away from him as much as possible, I don't think he's the friendly type," Knuckles told them.

"Who?" Sonic questioned.

"A man named Mobious, he showed up here an hour ago, and Shaodw is now gone, Eggman did something to the emerald, and it looks like Mobious is taking over my island, and manipulated the others," Knuckles told them.

"Hm, seems pretty weird, I don't know Knuckles, have you even talked to him, yet?" Tails told him.

"That's my point, all of a sudden he just shows up, and is acting like the boss, it's strange," Knuckles said.

"Hey, watch it," said a young voice.

"Sorry, we just need to hurry up, who knows what he's doing up there," the other friend said. The young one kept flying through the air, when he accidentally dropped him. "Keep going," the old one said. The young one kept flying towards the island, he could see Knuckles talking to Sonic and Tails.

"So you're saying that he isn't here to join, but to destroy the group," Sonic said.

"Yes, and I don't want you guys to be here when-," he heard someone screaming something in the sky.

"Watch out!" he screamed, whaming into Tails. "Another happy landing," he said. Sonic looked in amazement, it was Ray.

"Ray, it's been so long, where have you been, and where's Mighty?" Sonic asked.

"Mighty has something to warn you about someone, I don't know who, all I know is It's an echinda male," Ray told them. Knuckles looked at Sonic with a raised eyebrow.

"Who is thos, Sonic?" Tails asked.

"Oh, He is one of my old friends, Ray, this is-," Ray immediately shook Tails' hand.

"You don't need no introduction, I know who you are Tails," Ray laughed, so did Sonic.

"Well, it's nice to meet you Ray," Tails continued.

"So, is Mighty coming?" Knuckles asked.

"He can't, he doesn't have have the ability to fly," Ray told him.

"Right, you guys don't know about the ladder we made," Knuckles said, pointing to a rolled up ladder, ready to be used.

"Okay, I'll tell Mighty," Ray told them. He looked at a watch, and pressed the side of it, and Mighty appeared on the screen.

"Hey buddy, did you make it," Mighty said.

"Yes, I'm with the three of them like you said they'd be," Ray told him.

"Good, that lady wasn't lying, how can I get up there," Mighty asked, sweating. He seemed to be introuble, They could hear something behind him.

"They've made a ladder that goes all the way down, just come right up to the first building you see, the ladder is there," Ray told him.

"Okay, I'll be there soo-," The screen turned into static, saying tape has ended.

"It looks like he's endanger, let's lower the ladder right now," Silver said. Knuckles agreed, and Sonic ran to the ladder, struggling to unroll it.

"How do you unroll this thing," Sonic said. Knuckles walked up, and flicked a switch on the ladder. Sonic laughed nervously, how the tables has turned then. So they just waited for Mighty, but he seemed to not know where to go.

"Is he lost or something," Ray thought.

"Let's go see Mobious, maybe we can see his true colors," Knuckles said. Sonic, Tails, and Ray stayed at the ladder, while the others went to see what was up with him. Mobious was counting statues when they came in.

"Oh, welcome, it's a pleasure to meet you all, I am a big fan," he said, dusting the life sized statues of the different heroes, except for Knuckles. The weird thing about the statues is that they didn't show any emotion, they looked like they were dull, boring, and creepy.

"Mobious, where do you come from," Knuckles said.

"Where do I come from you ask, well, I am from your village, where else would I be?" Mobious said. Knuckles smiled.

"The village is still out there," Knuckles said. Mobious smiled, how easy it was to fool him, or so he thought. Knuckles thought for a moment.

"No, that can't be, the village was wiped out, that's why I was brought here," Knuckles explained.

"Suit yourself, believe what you want to believe, I'm telling you the truth," he lied. They have him a stare, a digust stare, and came out of his tent, he almost fooled Knuckles, luckily he caught himself, who knows what else he would try.
