"Neil, give it back!" "You'll have to take it from me, princess." "No fair, you're taller than me!" I was in my room with Neil. I'd invited him over a few hours ago, and he'd arrived as I was fixing my hair. Neil took my favorite silver hair pin and was holding it high in the air teasingly. No matter how hard I jumped or levitated, Neil found a way to keep it out of my reach. I stopped jumping and crossed my arms. There were other ways to win this fight. "If you don't give it back to me, I'm never going to kiss you again."Neil stopped grinning.

"Are you seriou-"And just when he'd let his guard down, I jumped with all my might and clasped his fist into mine. I pried the diamond crested pin out of his hand and pinned it into my hair."What? I seriously thought you were dumping me!" Neil blushed.I giggled. "As if." There was a silence, for we were thinking the same thing. I dared myself to say it."Hey... Neil?"I walked over to my bed and sat down, Neil joining me a few seconds later. "Yeah?"

So much I've even asked myself if it was love. I'll walk to the ends of the earth for you, sail the world to find you. If you think it's going too fast... that's okay with me. Our relationship will be whatever you want, whenever you want." 

 I looked at Neil, a passionate, caring boy that I loved back. And I kissed him. Our lips brushed together softly, his hands running through my dark brown waves. We pulled apart, and Neil grinned. "I guess it's the right time to ask, then?""Ask wha-""Emmie Vacker-Song, will you be my girlfriend?"A smiled broke out on my face. "Yes!"We embraced, and Neil whispered in my ear, "Meet me tomorrow in Atlantis. Four o'clock."Then he raised his home crystal into the air and he was gone.
