I was just sitting doing my work (aka. skimming over everything and prentending I understood) when Aiden, Caden, and Ari walked over to me. Now don't get me wrong, they are my best friends. But whenever they get the look on their face that they have now, you run in the other direction. So without a further thought I collected all my stuff and walked out of the room channeling my energy to move faster. But with my luck I run into Avery. "Hey where are you going?" Avery asked me putting her hands on my shoulder. "You know the look that Aiden, Caden, and Ari get when they're planning something?" Will asked Avery in a nervous tone knowing that they were probably trying to find him right now. Avery just smiled at him and started walking away. You see the thing about Avery was that she was the one who told the boys about Will's crush on Ivy. She already had a ship name. Wivy! But she knew that he was going to need a little push so she had planned something with the boys. I was very confused because usually she would do something that would not only scare Aiden, Caden, and Ari. But make the whole school realize why they were scared of her in the first place. Even before she got her powers you never, ever, mess with Avery Vacker. But in that moment of confusion something clicked inside of me and I shouted out "You're trying to get me with Ivy!" Avery turned and looked at me with a look of shock and confusion. "Why are you looking at me like that? You were the one who said it out loud." I told her in a 'duh tone'. But Avery's face just became more worried."What? What happened? Is something wrong?" I asked suddenly becoming self conscious. "I think we just found your power." Avery in a whisper before breaking out into a smile. "What do you mean? We both know I haven't manifested." I told her, wondering if she needed to go see Elwin. "I didn't say anything." Avery said inching closer to me. "Yes you did. How else would I know." I was starting to get fed up with her. "Plus, it's kinda rude y'know. I don't even really like her." I said again rolling my eyes and crossing my arms. Although inside I was screaming. I should have never told her I thought. "Will. I might not have said anything about you and Ivy. But I did think it." Avery said inching even more closer. Suddenly realization dawned on me. "I'm a telepath!" I shouted out in joy wrapping my arms around her and spinning around. I vaguely saw someone that looked like a girl run by, but I was too happy to care. I was a telepath! I can't wait to tell Mom and Dad! Avery pulled away from the hug and told me she had always believed in me, but I wasn't really paying attention. I finally got my ability! But now all I had to do was figure out how to ask Ivy to the formal. AN: Hi! To whoever is writing for Ivy, she's the one who saw Will and Avery. I was thinking we could have her think that they were a thing that knowing they were cousins. But it's up to you.
