blur is a phaser, just like jensi's brother, and is described as round-faced and pink-chinked, exactly how sophie described jensi in the first book. 

shannon also didn't describe jensi's brother in neverseen when he appears next to his brother like she does for every other new character. it could just be that he's such a background character that he doesn't need any more description than 'looked like jensi' or anything, but it could've been a hint that jensi's brother was a reoccurring character, even if he first appeared in that scene as himself.

blur is also younger than the other members of the collective, the newest one to join—right around the time jensi's brother would have graduated foxfire.
